Actually its common misunderstanding that Lesbianism and bi-sexuality is limited to women and men who see physical traits of the opposite sex in the same sex. In most cases these days, you're likely to find more... Sapphic cases of bisexual and lesbian interaction and guys being attracted to other guys who come as the men's men so to speak Lol!

As for me... I wouldn't call it a gay experience or a DEFINITE bi-sexual experience but there were a few... spur of the moment jokes and one-liners with the same sex LOL! Guys will be guys ya know .

LOL BR we should rename this thread " Gay moments in our lives" a true confession thread.

I have a question. One that I have always wondered about which sees an odd thing to me.

Why does our society seem to frown more on gay men than it does on gay women? What's the psychological thinking about that?

It's really the same thing but it seems that gay men have it rougher in our world society than gay women do.

It's probably the conditioning by society that you can be more mean and gruff with men, but you should tone it down with women. That would be my guess.

Back in my power lifting and arm wrestling days
at the gym or running with the boxers from Don King's ranch..
I noticed that the gay men were actually usually the big buff fellows not the little trim dancer guys.
Same otherwise too, no one can tell a gay man or lesbian just by looking at them, unless one has what is called "gaydar".
I know alot of totally butch women who are married to men and have several kids.
And very swishy fellows who are married to untra fems and have kids and do all the traditional boy things like football/soccer/hunting etcetera..
There are always exceptions but usually one cannot tell just by looking.

Yes, in the society we know now. It's still very looked down upon for a man to treat a woman as gruff as he'd treat another man, and that extrapolates out to many areas including debating whether women soldiers should be on the front lines.

Well it depends upon which age-group you fall in and under what circumstances you were brought-up under. Most European countries have gone beyond the gender segregation and sexual orientation thing and its been proven that Sexual Orientation and Gender rarely compromises anything unless we are talking about longterm physical exertion (but that is why the army made the obstacle course Lol!)

And LOL! Hey I am not gonna deny that about my sign . I am brimming with Fire and air... I need someone with a bit more "umph" in my life . I however don't segregate overall . Girls are lovely in whatever attitude they come across as. Why Segregate? LOL! (Apart from your totally emotional cripples and other... factors.)

I just have to chime and say I really like this native American idea that those who are unique are closer to spirit. Having worked with mentally challenged people, i believe this is true, they bring an incredible joy to those around them. Innocence usually does. Some of the most spiritually evolved people I met have had physical disabilities or illnesses.

Very true about the disabled, BR and mentally challenged people were also considered spiritual to Native Americans. They never harmed them in any way because they felt they were very close to the Great Spirit.

Native Americans also treated their women and elderly people with much respect. Those warriors were bossed around pretty good by their women.

Bright Star, Were you speaking about some kind of fear of men or extreme shyness around men? Is that what you meant about not being able to have sex and running away from men?
