My reason for being alive is that there are friends and loved ones and beautiful, interesting things here. That's what gets me out of bed in the morning. As for the meaning and purpose, I feel that it's whatever I want it to be. Which is basically to experience life, to grow as a person as best I can, try not to get so overburdened with "shoulds," to let the bad side of it temper me rather than break me, and to enjoy myself as much as possible. the responsability and love to my kids.My books and new things I am experiencing.
The challenges of my work, although they are beating me lately. Aside of that I could be dead and it would not matter.Being alone sucks when you are born a Cancer. IP: Logged |

I see love as my meaning for being alive. It is giving and receiving love from my family and all those who enter into my life. Also those who may not enter my life but with whom I share this world with. Love is what you are born with and it is the energy you will take with you when you die. Outside of having a family who relies on me to get up each day I get up for the experiences of each day. Some will be good. Some will be bad. But I can learn and grow from both. Each new day is a new start on life. Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow hasn't happened yet. So each day is a new adventure and a new start. Good reason to get up each day just to see what lies in store for you on this new dawning. All that I stated above is the reason for my existance and I believe the meaning and reason for all of our existance. But love is the reason for our existance. We are here because we were first loved by God. We are here to bring love into the world anyway we can. So, my answer is that love is the meaning of all existance. Without love we would have no reason to exist. If we don't have a partner that does not mean that we are not loved or that we can't share our love with others who need it. Even if we were totally alone we would still have God's love. But how can any of us be totally alone in a world of billions of people? IP: Logged |
