My husband loves you for posting the Edmund Fitzgerald by Gordon Lightfoot and those Meatloaf tunes, EighthMoon He has worn out countless "Bat Out Of Hell" Tapes and CD's through the years. You would think it was the only CD ever made. He goes to sleep to it with earphones on. I've asked him how he sleeps to that CD when it hypes me up. LOL Great tunes though. IP: Logged |

Love the Allman Bros., Zala And hearing them reminded me of that "Little Ol' Band from Texas", another one of my favorites. Does anyone know what these two guys actually look like? LOL Hard to tell which songs of theirs is actually from the 70's and which ones filtered over into the 80's because they were big in both decades. Flashback (1990) - R Directed by: Franco Amurri. The cast includes: Carol Kane, Dennis Hopper, Kiefer Sutherland, Paul Dooley, Cliff De Young, Richard Masur, Kathleen York, and Michael McKean. When young FBI-agent John Bucker is told to bring 60's hippy Huey Walker to prison, Walker tries to escape during the train ride. With Huey pulling a fast-one on Buckner, suddenly the agent finds himself without an identify and in jail. Meanwhile Walker is on the loose, complete with gun, handcuffs, and a passport for travel accessories. Mirandee...Glad he likes them! I could only fall asleep to a few of the songs. The rest would definitely keep me up! ArtLovesDawn...I love the story tellers too! Here are a few by Jim Croce. I watched an interview w/ his wife and she told a story about how she was unsure of his feelings for her and he woke her up one night and sang "I'll Have To Say I Love You In A Song." Sighhhh....
There's no video for that song, just a tribute. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GFT34H1MfE8 A few more of his: Bad Bad Leroy Brown: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D_DOikIddmQ&feature=related Operator: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A2iS8XctJKo&feature=related You Don't Mess Around With Jim: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8KJuhgq-GZk&feature=related I Got A Name: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YcqauC49Xmc&feature=related And a few more of the Eagles: Desperado: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KR98PKjphII Tequila Sunrise http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1KHf13IUzxg Wasted Time http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6kbToh_S37s (Yes, AG, I know this one's technically 1980, but I wanted to keep it w/ the other Eagles tunes whilst in storyteller mode! :P ) 8th
