I recently saw this children's movie, one made for the Disney channel in 1995. I'm sharing because though it has its flaws (which I'm willing to overlook for a children's movie), I figured the new age themes (or at least themes I've seen in new age zines & papers) that kept popping up (especially toward the end) would appeal to some here...

Part 1:

It's claimed to be 2 hours long when I looked it up, but I'm thinking that must mean to include the commercials which the YT vid all but completely cuts out.

Anyway, for anyone interested, there it is.

Dervish, This film was a favorite for me as a child, though the one above does seem quite different, I'm delighted all the same!

Thank you

Escape to Witch Mountain was originally a science fiction novel written by Alexander Key in 1968. It was made into a film by Walt Disney Productions in 1975 and had two Sequels...

Escape to Witch Mountain (1975) IMBD

Return from Witch Mountain (1978) IMBD This one had Bette Davis in it, as I recall?

Beyond Witch Mountain (1982) This version was made for (TV) and featured Tracey Gold and Kirk Cameron.

The one you've posted a link to is actually a remake done in 1995. This remake changes several details of the original.

Because of it's longstanding popularity, another remake began production in July of 2007, set to be directed by Andy Fickman.

Wiki has some excellent info too...
