that's right fayte they're not
you think that by putting a laughing smilie next to an insult excuses your behavior
it doesn't
you've already got 2 strikes with me
if you don't stop it will be three.

Sorry folks that my simply voicing an opinion to a remark on stereotyping even meant "perhaps" in jest....
led to such a feeding frenzy.

I cannot be held responsible for their over the top reactions.

Hopefully this thread can now return to being a quiz thread again.

lala ~

I don't see you caring much nor stepping in with threats about "strikes" when belgz calls me a cockroach.....
Will have to check out what Neptune is doing universally, something's going on with perspectives around here.....

By the time I saw the "cockroach" remark
You had already handled it.
If it hadn't stopped there I most definately would have said something.
Rules are rules Zala, they're not just for fayte. Flipping people off or calling them a wuss, (or cockroach) is not in the spirit of LL.

I agree on that one, lala -- but maybe the following type of comment (though admittedly a very humorous way of telling someone to go f themselves ) should be slotted into your examples too, then?? It's only fair

take their thumb and instead of pointing it downwards - point it upwards and sit on it.

Yep!
I saw it as the three finger salute or the shove it up yours or the GFYS!

It really was not subtle at all and quite rude.
And definitely pointed at me.
Just for not agreeing to stereotyping men and agreeing with Xodian.
And the wuss remark I made is because the insult was tossed at me even though not using my name,
Soooo,
like not saying my name made it A-OK to say?
UH huh.
Imagine the fury if I had said that to her!!!

What's a binky? Is it another name for a pacifier or a diaper?

You Are a Good Student of Men

You're pretty good at knowing what men are thinking
But you're not dead on 100% of the time
Let your guy off the hook sometimes... because you may be reading him all wrong!
