LEXX, have you tried Apple Cider Vinegar? (the kind with the "mother") It's supposed to be a great reliever of many other ailments as well. Seems like a safe and effective way! YOu can also get it in tablet form now. Might be worth a shot!

Yes!
Every day!
Straight from a local orchard.
Totally homemade with "mother" included!
I also consume eggs pickled in it to keep my muscles from being lost along with the weight losses.
It works!
Lost over 120 pounds so far.
It pays to take it off slowly, so it stays off.

Oh awesome! I'm going to make it a habit of taking a daily dose too. Glad to hear it's working for you.

Always hard to make a resolution. I rebel against myself!!

But, this year, I will try to care about myself more, and put mysefl first instead of zipping my feelings up and making myself miserable for the masses. A little bit of selfishness is in order... And the Saturn return is coming, so I think it's about time for some "me" time.

Oh, and find a balance between that and still giving love to those I care about.

Oh, and quit smoking...

Good luck to you all! I hope 2009 will be a banner year for all of us!!

Smoking... ugh! I don't smoke much, sometimes just one a day, rarely 4 or more, but even with that it's tough to kick.

My trigger is the boozy stuff.
(I'm trying to indulge in a little less of that, too.)

I don't drink tons, but in the last few years it's become more than it used to be. And once I start, it's hard to stop... scary! I didn't think anything of it until I realized what I was doing.

I, too, tend to rebel against myself. The way I try to trick myself is to also decide wich vices to keep! Then I really feel sneaky.

Does anyone else have to play these kinds of games with their own heads???

Happy New Year to you, too!

The computer is another one for me. Oddly, I don't smoke during the day. The cravings don't hit me until around 9pm or later.

It's especially hard because my husband is a pack-a-day smoker. Nothing like watching someone else light up to kill your will power!

I don't have New Year's Resolutions.
If I have something I want to change, it starts the day it enters my mind. Not days, months, or nearly a year afterwards.

Same with most of us Fist. I don't think any of us ONLY try to make changes for the New Year and then never again throughout the year. Yet new years also often bring to the forefront of our minds changes we'd like to make more than other times of the year. A fresh start.
