I have forgotten how!

Well, as I'm quite silly and innocent, I laugh easily, especially with my boyfriend who is cheeky and mad, but... I would like to go out and play like when we were 8 and went playing in the square!

Marigold~ I still love to swing at the playgrounds, and I do whenever I see a swingset !

Although I rarely get to do it, I love to be on Lake Mead when the water is about 80 - 85 degrees; partying with friends and *floating* in that water ... or jetting across it at night by the light of a full moon ... howling

It's fun to just drive around in my car with my favorite music turned up loud Even more fun if someone is enjoying it with me.

Everyday I make the rounds thru my little gardens with the clippers - that is fun for me, always some little bird or lizard or spider or bee will come out to greet me ...

Teasing my husband is fun too He's a good sport, and we always end up laughing our butts off...

Lunch at McCormick and Schmidt with my best friend... on the patio in the fresh air, red wine, crab cakes from heaven and fresh italian bread and butter... then a cigarette it doesn't get much better

Unbridled gift shopping ! *fun*

What a neat thread. Personally, i have fun by playing video games with my family, reading, and having wild daydreams to music. I love being with friends as well, going out, eating, the whole thing.

However, there are moments where boredom likes to creep around, and I don't know how to really keep it away too well. Any hints?

Peace

Wow, Princess, cool ideas, I love the lake party idea! Magic!

I love swings too.
Oh, one day we went to a garden centre after visiting a gorgeous castle (there was a room where the ceiling was full of hundreds of flies though, brr, scary) and the owner has made a maze like in the Harry Potter's book, with clues to find, that was fun.

Yep, dinner with the best friend or tea and tarot sessions, that's great fun too.

I like shopping in Glastonbury (Avalon) too, like that fairy shop, very pretty...

Adventure games are fun, like Zorg-Nemesis, Myst, Phantasmagoria...

That reminds me, i've already played a "new age" video game. It is really cool, you summon persona's that are classified by the Tarot. Your character's sign determines how well they get along with the other characters and also what class of spirits they are best using(for example, Maya is a Cancer, and is the most compatible with Moon persona's). It deals heavily with the occult and so is not really popular here in the US, but it's big stuff in Japan.

Wow marigold, that castle sounds awesome! It's a shame that things like that just don't exist on this end(californ-eye-ay), just movies and malls and stuff.

Fairies play all the time! Why shouldn't we? I remember that when I was a toddler, I loved playing pick-up sticks. It was a game with special, coloured, long sticks (which weren't sharp). You'd pour them out of a cylinder and they'd land on the floor in wild, asymmetrical positions all over each other. The goal was to pick them all up without moving any of them other than the one you were picking up. Ah, memories.

By the way, NeptunianIdeal, if you have a Sony PlayStation 1 or 2, I highly recommend Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete. It's expensive, but fantastic.

Mikado is the name of the stick game, isn't it, Spiritua?

What's the name of the new age video game, Nep?
I've only got a PC, no playstation.

Spiritua~ Oh man.. I had forgotten Pick Up Stix !! I used LOVE that game And Jacks! Remember those? ......sigh

Sometime ago I used to play a dice game called 5,000 ... played with 5 dice (I think) and any number of people could play, but I've forgotten the play and scoring rules If anyone knows this game, I would love it if you could refresh my memory

Another great adult *fairy* game is called BUNKOS ... played with four people, and as many groups of four as you can gather... Forgot the play and scoring rules to this one too, but I remember the *Bunko Box* which was full of silly little prizes for winners ...it was great fun ... it was a regular monthly *girls night out* Is anyone familiar with this one?

The name of the new age video game, Mari, is Persona. Or you could play Persona 2(much better). Unfortunately it's only for the playstation!

Spiritua, I have heard of Lunar, but I don't have a playstation to play it(I played Persona on my cousin's system). It always appealed to me, i love the art!

Bunkos, Princess? I've never heard of it, but it sounds like fun Why was it called Bunko anyways? Did you have to scream Bunko when you won or something? Hehe, sounds funny

"Fun" is an extremely pretty three-lettered word which contains the letters "F", "U", and "N".

Now, say them out loud, very slowly and carefully.

"F, F, F, F, F."

Very good! (applauds) You have now completed the first step!

"U, U, U, U, U."

Excellent!

"N, N, N, N, N."

Excellent! You now understand "fun!" Let's put it all together now.

"umm..f...u...b?"

Nope. Try again.

"Aha! F...o...n!"

Oooops. Try again.

"F...U...N! Fun!"

Yay! You did it!

I used to love to play Hearts and Spades! Also RUMMY!!! I remember...

One of my best friends and I would play ALL the time (9th grade) but, we played with two decks and stacked all the face cards, aces, and 10's on top Of course we had to increase the score goal from 500 to 1,000 ...do you realize how exciting it is to get a rummy hand with nothing but face cards and probably plenty of aces as well? hahahahaha

YIVY~ oh man! we used to play penny poker all the time too! I was always the youngest tho, and was never allowed to quit if I was winning
