Here is a silly thought... MONO, is short for mononucleuosis (sp?) also referred to as "the kissing disease."

Lovers kiss under the moon.

GW!.. Interesting association.

OK...
We have only one actual moon....contrary to my previous post about Cruithne http://www.space.com/scienceastronomy/solarsystem/second_moon_991029.html

MONO is an abbreviation/prefix meaning ONE, and so one moon.

More moon names for 2010!
http://www.space.com/spacewatch/full-moon-names-2010-100127.html
See above link for details.

Jan. 30, 1:18 a.m. EST -- Full Wolf Moon.
So this is the biggest full moon of 2010. Very high ocean tides can be expected during the next two or three days, thanks to the coincidence of perigee with full moon.
Feb. 28, 11:38 a.m. EST -- Full Snow Moon.
Mar. 29, 10:25 p.m. EDT -- Full Worm Moon.
The more northern tribes knew this as the Full Crow Moon, when the cawing of crows signals the end of winter, or the Full Crust Moon because the snow cover becomes crusted from thawing by day and freezing at night. The Full Sap Moon, marking the time of tapping maple trees, is another variation. In 2010 this is also the Paschal Full Moon; the first full Moon of the spring season.
Apr. 28, 8:18 a.m. EDT -- Full Pink Moon.
May 27, 7:07 p.m. EDT -- Full Flower Moon.
Jun. 26, 7:30 a.m. EDT -- Full Strawberry Moon. Europeans called this the Rose Moon. There will be also be a Partial Lunar Eclipse
Jul. 25, 9:37 p.m. EDT -- Full Buck Moon
Aug. 24, 1:05 p.m. EDT -- Full Sturgeon Moon
Sep. 23, 5:17 a.m. EDT -- Full Harvest Moon
Oct. 22, 9:36 p.m. EDT -- Full Hunters' Moon.
Nov. 21, 12:27 p.m. EST -- Full Beaver Moon.
Dec. 21, 3:13 a.m. EST -- Full Cold Moon.
Last, but certainly not least, this will also be the night of a Total Lunar Eclipse.
