An interpretation which may have merit or not.
Most of humanity is asleep.
They LIVE their LIVES in a web of self delusion and illusion or subscribe to what they were told, not what they have experienced. They are blind...the VEIL, they refuse or are afraid to see through it or are unable to lift their own VEILS.
Or some LIVE in ignorance, taking pride in what they believe rather than a true knowing, and so LIVE by the true EVIL, the LIES, the self deceptions, blinded beneath a VEIL of their own making. The true sin, adhering to such ignorance, self deception and complantancy. The LIVE their LIES, they believe are true, the LIES they were told also.
They do not truly know EL, ELI, IE the true God Allah, the All.
The one within, the one force that LIVES and LIES within each of us. No they cannot see, behind the VEIL of LIES. So they LIVE in proud ignorance EVIL. EL, ELI, VIES for their soulminds to lift the VEILS of self imposed ignorance to see the presence of EL,ELI, within All.
The LIES begain by LEVI and other false prophets, who (as it is written) and most do not see, due to the VEILS placed by the false
God, not the true EL, the All;
and they who believed LEVI, do not know EL,ELI, and continue to LIVE the LIE, either in blind ignorance...self deception, beneath the VEIL. or even worse, know they are living a LIE, EVIL and VILE yet choose that path and worse yet, teach the LIES to others.
The self, the I, can choose EL, ELI the God within, the All, or can choose to LIVE the LEVI(ite) LIES of the false prophets who serves the false god, the EVIL EL God of LIES and VEILS, who blinded humanity and sent false prophets like LEVI to VIE with the wisdom of EL, ELI, Allah, the All and blind humanity to the truth.

I think it is inevitable for anyone "great" or "small" to come up with inaccuracies in their teachings- it is just something we have to put up with in this life, as an effect of the "VEIL".

I like what Cruxshadows does when showing their motto of "Live, Love, Be, Believe." You can see them do it in the last 10 seconds of this vid:
