Wow Lexi, putting your diabetes in remission is a huge thing! This is really the best news of the day! I am so happy for you! This means that your body is stronger than you might think! Your body still remembers and knows how it is to be healthy! It responded! You'll see how many things are going to get better that you won't even believe it! First of all, you will start having more energy and you won't be so tired all the time. Then, your vision will certainly improve. And once you start the iron infusions, you will see an even big difference in your strength and energy levels. Keep going sweet Lexi! Better days are on your way and I definitely want to see pictures of all your pots and buckets blooming with the most beautiful flowers! Start thinking about what to grow because before you know it, you will be getting potting soil and fertilizer and flowers and plants and everything!IP: Logged |

Yes, that was a lace circle! I do have doilies in the drawers, but I don't dare to take them out! Hahaha! And yes, that was a piece of wood, I really have no idea what type, that I always use when I light tealight candles!IP: Logged |

Have you tried taking lutein for your eyes? It's around $4 at Walmart. It's one of the few antioxidants that go straight to the eyes. IP: Logged |

test for Additions Disease
came back negative!😎
More testing to go
but at least one thing
Has been finally ruled out!😎
Will try and schedule
the iron infusions soon.
My hair was over
4 feet long a little over
2 years ago and now
it is almost gone and
is only a sparse 4 to 5 inches
long and I am nearly bald.
Scary how all my body hair
is almost gone too
including eyebrows and lashes.
Hopefully the severe vitamin
deficiencies and stress and
Malnutrition and dropping
mysteriously over 100 pounds
Is the cause of losing
most of my hair.😫
It might be reversible!😎
Sigh today I idea why but
vomiting again and bad pain
head to toes in and out
and fevers and drenching sweats
Of 101.5 or so.
Just trying to rest more
Hence why no reply to you yesterday.
Yes my vision might improve
once they test me and get
confirmation for 2 conditions
which cause the vision problems I am
and have been having.
There are treatments to stop the
Optic nerve and cranial nerve
swellings and deep
cerebral brain stem edemas.
Just have to keep
Looking and testing.
My usual troubles are not
Diabetes related after all.
So more testing for a few
more conditions and treatments and
Things should get better in time.

Not sure it helps yet.
The problems are it seems related to a couple types of edemas and brain swellings etcetera.
Hopefully testing will get
to the bottom of it all soon.
Today having 101.5 fevers

No not more stressed by anything else just weird fever anxiety and I think I was a ninny and did not hydrate my system enough.
Been sleeping muchly.
Internal and external blood loss causing more iron deficiency so that wears me out too and leaves me all shaking and trembling and weak.
I should feel better tomorrow once this latest Heriditary Angioedema type 3 episode lets up. Hopefully did not pick up COVID or something at hospitals past week or labs etcetera. Fevers are usually a sign of infection.
I am going to try and rest it out and work on really sweating it out.
Very sleepy going to hydrate and take advantage of the exhaustion to heal more.

Just when we thought things w ete going along ok enough....
My husband gets a recorded phone call
telling him that he can not use medical public transportation because after his outpatient surgery this coming Monday they will not do the surgery nor let him leave unless he has someone stay with him before and after or they will cancel the surgery!😠😞
We have no one to go with him and hang around and come back home with him.
They also said they are not responsible for stolen items so bring a trusted person along to guard your items while in surgery.
Well geez....many folks do not have anyone to go with them! They told him he was not allowed to drive himself.
So he got medical transport scheduled to pick him up and bring him home after the surgery.
But now they say he is not allowed to come by himself!😫
This is stressful!😠
He is totally freaking out!😞
I have lost the ability to drive.
There is no one to help.
So he will be cancelling the surgery scheduled for Monday until he can find out if insurance will pay for a private nurse to go with him and bring him home.
Poverty does not cover such care.😞
Sorry for being seriously upset now.
Feeling very lost.
He needs the surgery but now they are refusing it because he does not have a buddy or nurse to go with him?
Our friends are long dead and family is either very elderly and living far away and or living even father away and cannot help.
We will get through this somehow.
Do not know how but we have to.
Okay I must go and try to calm him down now.
He is frantic and scared and angry and disgusted with the medical care and or lack of it.

I know you and I are on opposite sides of our planet so communications will be sporadic.
As much as I find technology frustrating I have to aDmit this online conversation method of communications is far superior in many ways to old fashioned snail mail
By postal services.😎
Also much less costly and fast!
Use to cost quote a bit of money to corrospond with pen pals in country and even more internationally.
Mail could take a week to several weeks to go through.
No internet and no cell phones so doing what we are doing here was possible then.

My husband has been on phone with doctors and hospitals and insurance and financial billing and more for the past few hours and not much luck getting things straightened out yet.
They all say it is up to the patient these days to coordinate it all.

So here we are two disabled people having to do the work of the hospitals and insurances and all. Him on seizure meds and pain meds and more and me half blind and more.
This is ridiculous and not ADA compliant at all!😠
Now my next tests are also on hold
due to a 4 organization or more screw ups.
The orders are all contradicting each other and no one is telling reach Drs x3 and hospitals x2 and radiology x2 what is going on.
Some idiot also blithely put down general anesthesia which I cannot be given and contrast agents I cannot be given the way they said.
Maddening to say the least.😠Okay venting over for now.
Lovely sunny day hing I can get over the nausea and dizziness so I can get my Rolliator walker unit out and sit in yard awhile today and think about gardening soon.🌞😎🌿🌼 For now trying to nap and wait for meds to kick in.
Off how some folks love opioids.
I freaking detest them but have no choice because of dangerous reactions to OTCs except aspirin and other pain meds like Lyrics, Gabapentin. Nucynta, and more could also kill me.
So tohat leaves Morpheme and that direct family.
It does not make me high or happy just very sleepy and only takes the edge off the pain. I wonder why do folks love opioids and get addicted? Makes no sense to me.
I even refuse too take the amounts that I am prescribed to take which is 5x more than I usually take.
I hate having to use any meds.😖 Okay going now....

My dearest friend, I don't like technology either! I am lucky to have many young people around me and whenever I am stuck, they just seem to know everything!!! Imagine having to send letters to communicate with each other! As much as it seems totally absurd for us now, I can't help but love this form of communication... to keep myself calm.
I am worried for him
but this surgery is needed.
He fortunately is not afraid of surgery.
He just hates all the nonsense with scheduling and insurance etcetera screwups and lack of communication.

bed bound much.
My husband and I

of us is up and sitting
in living room in chair
and one of us is
stuck in bed
and or stuck in bathroom
a long time with pain.
It sounds crazy but
it helps to make us
both happy 😎
and gives
us more to talk about
than always feeling so sick
and dwelling on being
miserable.😩

Well so far testing and surgery for my husband shows he has a rare Heriditary liver syndrome.😠 It is not curable.😩
If the pathology report comes back clean and not cancer he can live for another decade or more. He is only 52 years old. Too young for this and his other issues.
If pathology comes back cancer and then the future looks grim.😩
And my latest biopsy report came in.
Very very bad words like invasive and too many cancer words to think about.
Getting chest abdomen and pelvic cat scans soon to see how far it has spread or not.
Either way I am looking at a living nightmare
I may or may not survive.😩
And mammogram, have had dozens of them, never a problem but now they want me to get another in a few months instead of the usual yearly.
😞 No one is even trying to help me with all my other conditions so I am in even more trouble.
Trying not to freak out more than I already have and am doing. Betwixt my beloved's issues and mine......I just do not see how we can get through all this nightmarish news.😩
Sorry for being extra gloomy.
I will keep going until I cannot and or should not.
