My mom put a thin, mesh netting over her pond to keep cats and birds away from the fish. IP: Logged |

My mom's pond water always turned green a few days after changing it. The netting wasn't too pretty, but it worked.

thanx a lot!! i do feel welcomed. I have painted my pond light blue from inside and water looks very clean and sparkling. it is surrounded by lots of ferns and rocks..i have also grown some plants like chlorophytum on rocks itself, using dry moss grass which can retain moisture for a longer time and sticks to rocky surface and helps bind the root of the plants. i have an aquarium (small one) but i was toying with the idea of having some gold fishes in the pond (its a very small pond of around 3 feet diameter). well i w'll think abt it and let you guys know if i come up with anything bright..till then keep gardening . namasteIP: Logged |
