I was pondering this just the other day.

Texas has been exceptionally cool this summer and we are expecting a cooler than usual winter (yippee!!!)

I wonder if the earth is not necesairally "warming" but going through cycles that were not always accounted for in the earth's very old history.

Tho, the polar caps are definately melting I wonder if, in say hundreds to thousands of years from now, if we have not destroyed her yet if we do not experience another ice age? Or something similar to global "cooling."

All the weather changes, whether or not the weather is getting colder or warmer in your area, ( I beleive) is due to global warming. It swooshes the air and currents about, so everything gets kind of mixed up. I learned this in geology.

Also Al Gore's film talks about this too.
