WellI live in San Antonio, Tx, where we have military bases. While we have few "factories" that pollute the air, it is often humid here and the sheer popluation and the jets from the military jets are, I suppose pollution enough! I garden anyway---tomatoes, peppers, brocolli, cauliflower to mention a few. I also have lots of roses and herb gardens and as far as I am concerned a little air pollution HAS to be safer to consume that the chemical-treated stuff you purhcase in the stores that we have NO idea of what it has been treated with! You may not be able to control what is in the air or water, necessarially, but you CAN control what is in the soil, ie: lack of pestacides, weed killers, etc.. Garden ON!!!! IP: Logged | |
