I live in south Texas and have 60 some mature Live Oak trees on my property...

Our neighborhood has been terrorized by oak wilt and with my tree population I can not afford to use chemical prevention for demolition of oak wilt nor do I support over chemicalizing the earth anyway!!

So, the other day I find one of my oaks appears to by dying, quickly and it appears to be oak wilt. I have been sending loving blessings to my land since I have known of the fungal problem but I suppose I have not sent enough blessings.

I asked for the help of a Wiccan friend of mine and he suggested hugging the sick tree and said whatever healing takes place will be...whatever will be...be it death for the tree and it's friends or health...

So I go out in the rain and be-gin to hug all of my oak trees and tell each and every one of them I love you!!!

The energy exchange was phenomenal!!! I could feel them returning to me what I was sending them....

Hug your trees!!!!

They give back!!!!

Not sure about the moths. the big problem with our trees is some type of beetle that spreads the fungus via tree to tree, not to mention the common root system the Live Oaks share...

My trees are ok, broke down and began to vaccinate them. two of my big ones are sick, but maybe after medicating them I can save save...but....I have put a mere dent in them, I have 30 some more to go...<sigh>

But I love them and will continue to mix natural healing remedies as well as modern chemicals...to save my trees.
