Have any of you put up a deer fence around an enclosed area?

I'm thinking that we're going to do that this year. It doesn't make much sense for us to plant, otherwise.

Yeah and the deer just jump over it and the damn groundhogs dig under it and climb over it.
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
Maybe for deer at least a 6 foot high one "might" work?
4 foot is not high enough.
Grrrrrrrrrrrrr.
I love animals but they are too often damaging idiots.
Like the damn woodpeckers tearing holes in my house.
They literally pull the insulation caps out and then proceed to make a one inch hole into a 2 to 8 inch hole!
Then wasps and all take up the holes as homes and so do climbing rodents and other birds.
The rodents, chipmunks etc.;
chew the electric wiring in my walls and nest in the ceilings and urinate and defecate and it leaks through.
Utterly gross and dangerous.
Grrrrrrrrrrrr.
I hope you can do something about the deer.
They come right in to the city here and destroy young trees and gardens.
Betwixt them and the groundhogs I have not been able to have a garden in the 11 years here to date.
I miss having fresh veggies.
Damn wildlife.
Yeah cute but not in my garden and flower beds, house etc.
Rant over for now.
