You are right, I am not although some of my comments here have been taken that way over the years along with attempts at humor misconstrued. Too blunt sometimes perhaps. One thing I have learned from here is anything said is always useful in the long run (not just by me, by everyone) and an opportunity for growth. Sorry if you thought I was mean. I had the cayenne plants for months and months and was eating the green pepper but it had little taste. The red ones taste wonderful but there were only 4 on a plant with 50 peppers now. I put it in juice and it was not too bad but plain, it would have been killer. They are yellow, which is interesting, kind of a pale yellow, too. I have a habanero plant that is like a bush now. I was eating them green and when they were big, they were HOT, like killer hot. I did not eat them for a day or two and when I came back, some were orange and much, much hotter. I did not know they turned orange. On the cayenne plant, the peppers are not hot when they are green, as we discussed but super hot when they are red. I wonder what the chemical process in the ripening does to make them hot.
