Question
If you put one garlic clove in the ground, will it grow a bulb? Mine seems to grow just a clove only. Then, it comes to the surface which my friend says means it is ready to pick. What do you think, Padre or Ellyn? Thanks!------------------

How long has it been in the ground? How deep? If you have mosquitoes, it must be warm there. Normally garlic is a cool season plant, that's why it's ideal for fall planting. IP: Logged |

Not sure but it came up to the surface and my friend said onions do this when they are ready. I thought it was an onion and when I ate it, it was garlic .
