But she went shopping and forgot the eggs herself, so it wasn't a sabotage.

you can pick eggplant all season
doesn't matter what size they are, any size is ripe for harvesting
the smaller ones have smaller seeds and are a little more tender, the larger ones are great for roasting on the grill
you have to remember to use a knife when harvesting and cut off all the little thorns at the stem
that's about all i know about growing eggplant

I've just picked my first eggplant, out of two growing. My seedlings have been taking off since the weather finally turned more Summer-like, but my luck will probably change at the end of the week - we're going to get colder weather.

I picked a small Delicata squash, and hoped that more would grow from the partially destroyed plant. One is trying, but the cold weather will probably affect it. We'll be going under 50 degrees at night.

I have what looks to be two watermelon, or elongated pumpkins, one little round perfect possible pumpkin, and several spaghetti squash. So that will cover me for a few weeks, but I was hoping for more to keep all through the Winter.

I was really looking forward to the Blue Hubbard, that requires a mallet to break into, but that plant is only just getting blossoms on it, and the other seedlings were eaten by slugs.

Spearmint is growing now, and cilantro is trying to grow.

Cilantro likes a cool Season.

Just don't let it bolt.
