I made friends with an Aries recently who may be a flash in the pan. Its' so hard to tell with fire men. They are aloof, elusive and so busy with their lives I don't give it much attention.

But this one seems more sincere only in that he listens to my wishes. I choose not to date him, though he is attractive because he is in the slow process of separating from his wife and he has two toddlers. Now he is truthful, but being competitive, he is dragging it out so that he doesn't lose anything.

I admire him in business and he and I do talk but I am wary of letting it get personal. Fire and Air men for me do not like me when I am needy and I have been burned too many times before.

He has confessed that he is looking for someone to turn his life upside down, but not that it's me, so that's good. Like an Aries he is up and down but always interested in helping my career and being friends.

I have become much more distrustful this past year, but now after reading this you are thinking what a creep right? But then he and one other friend a Pisces were the only ones who called me up everyday the first week after my biopsy to find out how I was, and this one has called almost every night to see how I am feeling. He knows I can't do any kind of relationship for a long time.

What do you make of an Aries male, Cap Moon, Venus and Mars in Aries, no water that I can see except Neptune, no birth time. He does have North Node in Pisces like myself. He's in education but manages a school, so he doesn't teach, he's bossy, but in a protective way. I don't know any protective men so it's hard to take, I act that way sometimes myself and I know it's taken the wrong way, but it's just natural.

He doesn't know what to make of me, we met New Years Eve as his wife and he are dating others and she has a boyfriend she chose to be with, leaving him to look for something to do. Then he found me. He seems happy to be around. I thought he was unhappy but if I suggest that he gets puffed up and acts more confident. So I can't tell if he's unhappy or secretly happy he's divorcing.

When I pull away he understands but gets more focused on being a better friend. Why is he so devoted and can I trust him?

What is it with Aries men, are they capable of being good friends with a woman, that is actually helpful and useful? So many fire men have unstable lives. I am wondering if I ought to stick to water and earth men forever, but then this one turns up and starts acting nurturing? He even talks about wanting to feed me?

Thanks,
Natasha

Nope.
Not in my opinion anyway... I was reflecting on this, and wondering why my hubby is so friggin' nurturing and always loving.. he has a Pisces Venus.. so I dunno.. but a whole heck of a lot of fire in his chart.
But I have never met anyone as expressive with affection. It is a NEED for him.

Hi Pixie, I expect affection, but nurturing is something else since there is no expectation back. Most fire men want something back, so I was suspicious. Probably he does need to do this for someone.

Thanks for the insight into your hubby, Natasha

Sooner or later in my experience, but in this instance we're talking between men, so that may have something to do with it.

The Aries men I know of can be momentary jerks. In that moment of whatever driving that emotion. And then they move onto to something else.

I have similar placements to your friend, Aries Sun, Capricorn Moon and Mars in Aries.

Aries likes being helpful, just like Linda says in Sun signs. He may overlook the little things, but if he's wanting to be a friend, he'll show it and sometimes it can come off as being bossy if he is a typical Ram.

******
Sun signs aside, he knows you're not doing well. If he has a conscience, he won't dare try to take advantage of you. Friends is friends, and that's that.

Hi -

I have similar stats to your friend and Aphrodite. I am an Aries female, Cap Rising, Mars in Aries. I have North Node in Pisces. I have always gone for the taurus and cap men.

As I recall, don't you also have venus in aries? Out of the blue, I think this guy is going to be a great match for you. You are going to enjoy this aries man. He might be a lot of fun, but still solid and reliable. Go for it.

One more thing. It shouldn't be such a shock that this man is so nurturing. I am extremely nurturing. My Dad, sun and moon in aries/cancer rising, is the most family oriented and caring person I have ever met. Yet, he is still a ball of fire!

I have an Aries friend who is the soundest, most honest and genuine bloke you could ever be lucky enough to meet. He really is that great.

I know a couple of others and they seem great too funnily enough, but this is NOT from the perspective of a lady in a relationship so what do I know?

Hi, this one is not as reliable as I thought, but we are going out to dinner tonight. I'll tell more later.

He is nurturing but a little over protective of himself, which could spell dishonest later on.

In any case I am hung up on a Capricorn right now and for us communication is everything, due to his Mars in Virgo. So Aries man and I are cool.

The Aries blew me off, after I skipped a birthday of a friend to be with him, so he's out.

I did hear from the Cappy and he said he spent the day organizing his closet since I wasn't around..this must mean he likes me:>

My Dad is an Aries......we fought, at times like cat and dog and clashed like hell

BUT

He is one of the kindest and most humane of people I ever knew.....most humanitarian....but a big baby and a real chauvenist.....that type of guy would probably last five minutes with me.

One thing I like about him is his romantic nature...he would always bring my mother flowers every week and write her poetry....but very jealous and a ROTTEN temper which used to frighten the life outta me.

Having said all this, he was a very good role model for me, and I have inherited both his good and bad traits....he has a wicked sense of humour.....and a good sense of the bizarre.

He almost seems, even at the grand old age of 78, to appreciate my ability to push the boundaries.....

Unlike some people here.....

HA HA !!

My experience with Aries men is that they are very much the infant souls...full of optimism and idealism and they LOVE attention--recieving it and giving it. However, when they don't get thier way, they throw tantrums and hold grudges (well, for as long as an infant CAN hold a grudge . They are very goal-oriented. Like to be on a reward system for good behavior....

I just LOVE thier fire. I am a Leo, so I am fire, too. It's always nice when I get around fire men. I like thier drive and entusiasm.

Interesting thread! I am currently attracted to an aries man...im a saggie sun, leo moon, saggie mercury so am kinda fiery myself. Well, until i started liking this guy back he was initating conversations and inviting me to his party...and we had a chat about stuff and he said we should do lunch together. Anyways...not sure how to handle him. He's seen my fun side though and he excites me too.Sag and aries...kinda fiery match!

Okay after I ignored him he emailed me a card asking me to forgive him...he said he's lower than anything...so I emailed and said we could do lunch or a quick bite. I was kind of cold. Haven't heard back but that's what I have right now.

They're such a pain in the butt. My Aries asked me when I'm going to have my own art show, one night. So, I told him I'd email him some photos of my artwork. Took him like maybe a week to respond to my email. I'm pretty sure he read it before then. He always reads my emails and only responds 20% of the time. Then, when I see him in person, he'll mention something related to my emails. It's like he's not there, but he is. ********* babies. So then I play peekaboo too, and he pays attention.

LeoLys, I agree about Aries being infant souls...they want it when they want it...I found with one Aries guy (not a love interest, too young lol) that if he didn't get what he wanted, was mean and said spiteful things unnecessarily. I do like Aries energy though, mixes well with my Sag fire...it's an easy energy for me...same for me with Leos...easy.
