No one dares to pity the Christ, who "died" for our sins. Then Job answered the LORD, and said, 2 I know that thou canst do every thing, and that no thought can be withholden from thee. 3 Who is he that hideth counsel without knowledge? therefore have I uttered that I understood not; things too wonderful for me, which I knew not. 4 Hear, I beseech thee, and I will speak: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me. 5 I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee. 6 Wherefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes.

sure - only i realized after the fact, how comical i was in trying to do so...... for a while, i also wished for someone to kill me - preferrably someone who meant a lot to me to save me from the torture of tormenting myself in regards to them and/or tormenting them. btw, i'm not a cancer though my jupiter is in cancer in the 11th house. i also notice that if there is dissention among my "friends" I do feel pretty low on myself or want to "fix" the problem so.......now, i do know someone who is a cancer and seems to get into depressed moods once in a while - at this point, i notice that they have an affinity for watching/reading funny things like this clip where a guy is fighting a bear, or this clip where this man is surprised by a snake during an interview, or this clip where these two guys are having a fight in the parking lot, or this other clip where there is this guy getting his as* whooped by his girlfriend...............i guess the point is, whenever you feel like "offing" yourself, maybe if you indulge in treating yourself to what you find humorous - the desire to commit suicide subsides. laughter works wonders. Being receptive to powerful emotions doesnt make a person weak, thosa. And I think its very irresponsible of you even to imply to a person who is considering suicide that they are "weak". IP: Logged |

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend cancergg...all I'm trying to say is, that cancergg should try to solve this problem by confronting it, instead of escaping it with suicide..really, it won't do you any good nor will it do any of your loved ones any good...have faith in God, and I can guarantee you, that you'll make it.IP: Logged |

ppl he didnt say hes DOING it he said hes had suicidal tendencies, cancerrg, anyone who has felt rejection, depression, embarrassment, guilt, or any of these emotions in the extreme will have felt at least 'why am i even here' if not 'why cant i just leave', both of these are suicidal in my opinion because they undermine existence, they are hopelessness, which leads to suicidal TENDENCIES, not suicide in itself, cowardliness leads to suicide in itself, that is a different story. yes i have been there, but thank goodness for my air sun, I wish you best, and keep it to tendencies and thoughts, dont put it in action, I have a crazy aunt who helped her daughter commit suicide, and tried a couple of times herself, and is now being tried in court for some charge of murder god knows what, lots of loons in my family here, thank goodness for my grounded, educated immediate family that keeps us all out of the deep deep blues. water signs, particularly water moons, can have this tendency , especially scorpios, I have a scorpio moon, it has to be all or nothing, obsession, especially with Venus opposing Pluto, it is one of the HARDEST aspects in my chart. there is ecstasy and then despair, by turns, but thankfully the logic of my 3 air planets pulls me back up, and libra rising helps. hope that answers ur question, where is ur mercury? Have u tried talking to urself and rationalizing ur feelings? If you try to be starkly logical, 2 plus 2 is four, rationalizing and materializing your emotions in these times, as in where is it coming from, what do i want to do with it, how can i make myself feel better, it will be good, this is easier to do if you have a mercury that is not in a water sign. even if it is, you will have to work on the logic/rational side, earth and air placements both help Let me know, I am here Love SG IP: Logged |

Thosa, what do you mean it solves nothing? Of course it solves things... just not very well! CancerRG, I don't think that Cancers as a sign are prone to suicide - just deep moodiness. If you are feeling depressed, might I suggest some excercise? Nothing like fresh air and endorphins to lift you up out of a rut. IP: Logged |

I am a Scorpio thro and thro and have thought of doing it many times but never attempted - I just think its do with being human and very sensitive too. I know a guy with Moon in Scorp and he has now and then threatened it, but never did. My Aries father said he has thought about it a couple of times (how blessed I am for a man in his 70s to confess this to his daughter). Being very extreme by nature has also sent me over the edge at times and I don't find anything about ANYONE feeling suicidal and I wouldn't see it as weak, just human. The things that help me manage it are singing, dancing, loving, playing and listening to music and generally letting go...........expression is everything to me and when I do that, the feeling normally goes - hope this helps guys - love and irish magic x x x IP: Logged |

Like SG said, I think everyone gets depressing thoughts at some point. I have had suicidal thoughts a couple of times..but that's all they were thoughts. I'd never go through with it. I guess it feels like an easy way out when the world really starts to get to you. You asked about cancer and suicide.. I don't think it's necessarily a cancer thing, but I know my share of water signs on anti-depressants.. Water feels very deeply and that might make them more prone to this kinda thing -depression, not suicide.. Cancers tend to keep things inside a lot, especially bad things - they don't spill..which isn't healthy and can harm their psyche..It helps a lot when they have someone they trust with their deepest darkest stories and emotions so they don't carry that kinda bagage arround... I'm hoping you asked this out of curisoty and aren't actually having these thoughts right now. If you are, then my advice would be to enjoy the little things in life, simple things like going for a walk or a jog or a swim - to clear your head, you know.. Try to distance yourself from whatever is depressing you most.. take some time to yourself and do something you enjoy doing And remeber you're special just the way you are for the person you are and there's noone else in the world just like you.. I mean even SD gave you advice (he never does that) - I rest my case quote: Thosa, what do you mean it solves nothing? Of course it solves things... just not very well!
lol Johnny - point out the positive side why don't you? jk IP: Logged |

I feel suicidal pretty often, but I do not believe I would actually carry through with it. My past history of drug use, and my occasional desire to run off and OD.. just get it over with.. The despair always passes. The world always holds a certain newness when I'm comming out of it. pluto on ascendant square mars conjunct sun. I have a bit of a self destructive personality. Sometimes it seems like the ultimate dose of morphine. I've offered to let it go if someone else can use it to greater effect. If you feel irrelevant, life becomes a chore. A very sad feeling hits me when I realise it means every thought, feeling and any suffering then become for nothing. Make your pain worthwhile by attempting to feel joy. Its out there, but can be elusive for some and ridiculously easy for others to reach out and grab. Thats because happiness can only ever come in our particular brand, otherwise it won't be happiness. I suggest discovering what that is as I have been depressed because I didn't have what others have, but then it wasn't what I wanted anyway. Doesn't numb the pain in the short-term though.....suppose you could consider it a challenge. Swerve IP: Logged |

THANK U, all of u for your concern but the main question remains " are cancers prone to suicide and who are ?" . as for me , i have always thought all my life how a person could do it , untill it happened to me and the problem is it didn't happen over some very big issue , it was just that i could not fulfill a promise to some one that i really admired and respected . as for solving things i myself believe , it solves nothing . labeling the person weak might not right , i agree because sometime there are conditions that make u do it . one of the problem with me is , its been almost 14 trs . that i have wept, i can understand this helps but __________ thanku again for your concern , i believe that was just a passing moment and i believe cancers learn from thier mistake , i'll make sure the thought never even occurs to me , well infact i am in love with life so much , so i was astonished how could i think of it.IP: Logged |

hi Cancerrg, I never really share this but I have felt suicidal before. I have a Moon singleton in my chart so I guess I can be considered a "lunar" person in many ways. I'm prone to feeling overwhelmed at times, largely from other people, and I want to just shut myself out from all the negativity bubbling beneathe the surface of things. When I feel this now, the only person that can truly help me is myself. Just change your mind and think of the good. Crying always helps me, even though I dread it, it brings much clarity.hugs to u IP: Logged |

I wouldn't say any sign in particular is more prone to suicide cos that's a bit... extreme but some are more self-pitying, overreacting, pessimistic.. etc. There's not really any need for suicide unless you really have nothing left to live for.... and how often is that going to happen? Whether you're living for a tv programme on that night, for your pet goldfish... whatever. What I mean is it's probably very unlikely that you have nothing to live for. Even if you feel that way. There's always someone worse off than you... god help them. IP: Logged |

Hell, looking back I guess I was! When I was in the army, I was a combat engineer. Know what we did? One of our big jobs was clearing minefields, and handling heavy explosives. When I was handling the stuff, I'd think, well, if I make a little mistake, I probably won't feel anything, so it didn't bother me. How's that for suicidal?IP: Logged |
