For the new kids on this topic, here's the first post from the old thread. If you want to post a question, please take the following into consideration:

So I recently purchased this deck and I find it truly amazing! I've become more familiar with it and the readings are uncanny.
I would like to offer readings with this deck for people searching for answers.

But please keep in mind it might take a while.

The only thing I want to ask of you is to offer a little bit of background for me to tune in and also please ask questions of importance to you. This deck is so profound, I don't think I will be able to do trivial readings with it.

The last thing I ask of you is to be patient with me. I like to do thorough readings, I like to tune in with the question as best as I can and this takes time and energy, so don't get discouraged if it will take longer than you expected. I need time to recharge energetically. I generally do more spreads for the same person/question so I hope the experience of the reading will be worth the wait!

Kind request - since I have to split my posts because they're too loaded with the card images and descriptions, please don't post in the middle of my reading! I usually end my reading with an angel emoticon so unless you see the angel at the end, please have a little bit more patience!

Like the card suggests, you brought a spirit of adventure, excitement and enthusiasm in this relationship. You threw caution to the wind and got involved in it wholeheartedly, passionately, but this also left you in a vulnerable position.

To me, adventure, excitement and enthusiasm was key in this relationship. There are a lot of Uranus contacts (Uranus conjunct ascendant in the composite). I didn’t bring it myself but that is what I got out of the relationship. It jolted my world and I certainly threw caution to the wind getting involved wholeheartedly. I’m definitely this little girl in the card above entering a world of wonder and rainbow…and of course, I SUFFERED a lot when it came time to leave. You reading here is interesting. I have learnt TO DETACH a lot in this relationship or through this relationship. This is not something that is natural to me: I’m a scorpio rising with venus in pisces. I’m always about emotions. He’s an aquarius moon: that is his key word: he would tell me to detach and accept things since we can’t do much about them now. My venus and moon squares his Saturn also. I also I believe have a reluctance as you wrote of detaching because if I do sufficiently I’m afraid to not know how to love back. I don’t know how to explain it but you got it right here when you see it appearing in my fear position. To give an example, back between 2009 and 2010, I decided to completely detach from the situation and from him. We would communicate regularly but I’d keep things “businesslike” if you will, speaking of our daughter and giving news but never about my emotions, missing him and such…and then of course, especially starting in 2010 that’s all he wanted to talk about. They say people who are alike, come together. I believe there’s a reason for that.

He did bring a lot of love into my life. I learnt how to love with him and through him. It was/still is very sexual though on both ends. I feel that I’ll always love him more though: I’ll always be willing to sacrifice more for this love which is why I suffered. He only begins to suffer when I say enough is enough about his detachment and then retreats (detach) into my own world and then he goes through a crisis.

I think he received a feeling of belonging, of being a part of something greater than himself. He did get everything that you described here from me. He was going through a very dark period in his life when we met and I definitely brought him happiness and peace and this family like feeling. My sun is in his fourth house by the way. We lived together for two years: usually he keeps girlfriends at bay definitely. But I also fit with his family as he always said. His mother and I are very close and of course there’s our daughter now.

I think for him the relationship was a bit overwhelming, he had to joggle so many things in his life and I am sure becoming a father can be very stressful in certain conditions (if not all!). Perhaps his fear has to do with the fact that he thinks he’s unable to balance all his responsibilities, so he might be aloof sometimes, unable to decide which responsibility takes more priority in his life.

Did you meet and talk with him???? LOL. That summarizes how he experienced this relationship even before becoming a father. He does juggle too many things in his life, a very negative trait in my opinion cause he can’t focus or finish any: he’s an ARIES with Venus, Mars, and Saturn in GEMINI in 8th house. The juggling aspect I think comes from Gemini. But as far as the relationship feeling overwhelming to him I think (am not an expert) that it has to my PLUTO sitting on top of his ASCENDANT IN LIBRA. It’s a very close conjunction. I overwhelm and unsettle him just being in the same room with him.

You got it spot on again, which goes back I think to the love card, my feelings are always going to be stronger, or my commitment are always going to be stronger than his. He has way too much GEMINI energy for me as I’m a Cap with Scorpio on the ascendant. I approach every relationship with the intention of long term which is why I’ve been in very few relationships. He’s more like a “let’s enjoy the moment and experience things together, grow together without worrying about the future.” This is/was part of the excitement of the relationship but its source of strife.

Perhaps your first impression of him was of a man who is too busy to actually live his life, that he was a bit uptight and didn’t know how to relax and enjoy himself. Perhaps that is why you felt the need to bring Adventure into the relationship.

Perhaps in the beginning he saw you a bit clingy and in need of reassurance and also to have something solid to hang onto.

He did see me as clingy and in need of reassurance. I needed to be reassured because of his detachment…I wasn’t possessive though otherwise it would never have been a relationship as he abhors that as hell.

It seems like you already made up your mind that you need to move on and let him go, or at least take some time away from him and this relationship and be by yourself for a while, to figure things out.

I hope you’re right there Hera…This card sums up one of the greatest challenges of moving on from a relationship: the tension between feeling lonely and being alone! Right now I am alone and I like it but not necessarily lonely anymore. When I feel deeply lonely I know that I can always go back and talk to him and get my feelings settled (we have great communications/he serves as my “therapist” in a weird way) but I enjoy being alone now…I hope that I don’t become too settled into that…

I think he needs to figure things out too, to gain a new perspective on things and as suggested above, he needs to sort out his priorities in life.

This is what he is DEFINITELY going through now: rebirth/transformation! He has gone back to school to get a degree and I’m just so happy that Saturn is on his ascendant right now opposing his sun, thus forcing him to ground himself.

I think this card is suggesting you are becoming more attuned to your own needs and wishes, more at peace with your life and the circumstances surrounding this relationship. I think a time of balance and acceptance is on its way for you.

By the way, Anon10gl had gotten the EMPRESS for me in another spread and I think it’s the same idea…I am definitely starting to feel the balance and acceptance, since last month…maybe it’s the eclipse already manifesting itself in my life: it’s in my first house, and the next (10th of December) will be in my 7th house. I’m paying attention to the universe now because the last ones (june and july) hit me very hard! Some of it was positive: moving to a new town, new job, but was very hard relationship wise!

I think he is also coming close to a time when he is more in tune with himself. I’m not even gonna write anything here. It’s as if you’ve been observing him for the past couple of months! He even referred to himself as an eagle needing to make the right choices!!!

This is actually a very optimistic card. Whatever you will end up choosing for your relationship, you both will be at peace with your decision and I think it will bring more harmony between you two. It might mean that you’ll decide to give it a second chance, as I said it is an optimistic card. But if you decide it is time to let it go, you will be able to do so without anger or regret. You will be able to accept the past for the wonderful things it has given you, to forgive and move on peacefully. But I incline towards a reconciliation between you two.

I hope you’re right about the “reconciliation” Hera! I really do! I can let him go finally and be at peace but I really would like us to be together again, in the same country for once! I miss him being physically there with me even though over the past here we’ve become emotionally close again! My only concern is to not repeat the same mistake of the past: being that innocent little girl who throws caution to the wind has really caused me a lot of sorrow that I wish to avoid.

Well, this card is a bit mysterious, but given the whole spread, I would say this person was not the one for you. PS: I haven't met him lol, but he sounds a bit like my ex (he was also saying let's live in the present, forget about the future, etc... until the future bit him in the a$$ when he found out he's going to be a father - I was the down to earth one too, at least tried to be, I'm Cap Asc hehe... but he also got me to throw caution to the wind... It's not that I regret it, I also learned how to love through this relationship.. but opening your heart leaves it vulnerable to bruising). I guess we both need to learn how to balance the two (caution and adventure).
