I decided to start a new thread, because a whole page disappeared from the other one and it was clearly an unstable thread. Hopefully this one will prove to be more stable and I won't lose any of my readings.

For the new kids on this topic, here's the first post from the old thread. If you want to post a question, please take the following into consideration:

So I recently purchased this deck and I find it truly amazing! I've become more familiar with it and the readings are uncanny.
I would like to offer readings with this deck for people searching for answers.

But please keep in mind it might take a while.

The only thing I want to ask of you is to offer a little bit of background for me to tune in and also please ask questions of importance to you. This deck is so profound, I don't think I will be able to do trivial readings with it.

The last thing I ask of you is to be patient with me. I like to do thorough readings, I like to tune in with the question as best as I can and this takes time and energy, so don't get discouraged if it will take longer than you expected. I need time to recharge energetically. I generally do more spreads for the same person/question so I hope the experience of the reading will be worth the wait!

Kind request - since I have to split my posts because they're too loaded with the card images and descriptions, please don't post in the middle of my reading! I usually end my reading with an angel emoticon so unless you see the angel at the end, please have a little bit more patience!

------------------
Whatever you give to a woman, she will make it GREATER. Give her SPERM, she will give you a BABY. Give her a HOUSE, she will give you a HOME. Give her GROCERIES, she will give you a MEAL. Give her LOVE, and she will give you her HEART! She multiplies and enlarges what she is given. So, if you give her CR@P, be prepared to receive a ton of SH!T!

READING FOR ZAREA – GENERAL RELATIONSHIP READING

1. What you bring into this relationship?
Page of Rainbows – Adventure

quote:
When we are truly in a spirit of adventure, we are moving just like this child. Full of trust, out of the darkness of the forest into the rainbow of the light, we go step by step, drawn by our sense of wonder into the unknown. Adventure really has nothing to do with plans and maps and programs and organization.
The Page of Rainbows represents a quality that can come to us anywhere--at home or in the office, in the wilderness or in the city, in a creative project or in our relationships with others. Whenever we move into the new and unknown with the trusting spirit of a child, innocent and open and vulnerable, even the smallest things of life can become the greatest adventures.

Like the card suggests, you brought a spirit of adventure, excitement and enthusiasm in this relationship. You threw caution to the wind and got involved in it wholeheartedly, passionately, but this also left you in a vulnerable position.

2. What you received in this relationship
9 of Clouds – Sorrow

quote:
The image is of Ananda, the cousin and disciple of Gautam Buddha. He was at Buddha's side constantly, attending to his every need for forty-two years. When Buddha died, the story is told that Ananda was still at his side, weeping. The other disciples chastised him for his misunderstanding: Buddha had died absolutely fulfilled; he should be rejoicing. But Ananda said, "You misunderstand. I'm weeping not for him but for myself, because for all these years I have been constantly at his side but I have still not attained." Ananda stayed awake for the whole night, meditating deeply and feeling his pain and sorrow. By the morning, it is said, he was enlightened.
Times of great sorrow have the potential to be times of great transformation. But in order for transformation to happen we must go deep, to the very roots of our pain, and experience it as it is, without blame or self-pity.

As this card suggests, and from your background story, I can see you suffered a great deal in this relationship. You went in it wholeheartedly, but received pain and suffering instead. But as you probably know, every experience has its purpose in our lives, it is there to teach us something about ourselves. As in the card, through pain and suffering, comes enlightment.

3. Your hopes or fears for this relationship
4 of Water – Turning in

quote:
The woman in this image has a faint smile on her face. In fact she is just watching the antics of the mind--not judging, not trying to stop them, not identified, just watching as if they were traffic on the road, or ripples on the surface of a pond. And the antics of the mind are slightly amusing, as it jumps up and down and twists this way and that, trying to get your attention and seduce you into the game.

To develop the knack of taking a distance from the mind is one of the greatest blessings. It is what meditation is all about really--not chanting a mantra, or repeating an affirmation, but just watching, as if the mind belongs to somebody else. You are ready to take this distance now, and to watch the show without getting caught up in the drama. Indulge yourself in the simple freedom of Turning In whenever you can, and the knack of meditation will grow and deepen in you.

This card speaks of detachment by turning in, by ignoring the outside events and even your partner. Perhaps you feel the need to detach yourself from him, or since it appeared in your fears position, you may feel reluctant to do so. Sometimes it is good to put some distance between us and the outside world, to let our inner clarity shine through.

4. What you both got from this relationship
King of Fire – The Creator

quote:
The Zen master in this card has harnessed the energy of fire and is able to use it for creation rather than destruction. He invites us to recognize and participate with him in the understanding that belongs to those who have mastered the fires of passion, without repressing them or allowing them to get destructive and out of balance. He is so integrated that there is no longer any difference between who he is inside and who he is in the world outside. He offers this gift of understanding and integration to all those who come to him, the gift of creative light that comes from the center of his being.
The King of Fire tells us that anything that we undertake now, with the understanding that comes from maturity, will bring enrichment to our own lives and to the lives of others. Using whatever skills you have, whatever you have learned from your own life experience, it is time to express yourself.

The first thing that came to my mind was that you both got to create life through your relationship with each other – that wonderful child you two share, which will always bind you, no matter what happens in your lives or how many miles you are apart of each other.

5. What he brings into the relationship
Major Arcana VI- The Lovers

quote:
What we call love is really a whole spectrum of relating, reaching from the earth to the sky. At the most earthy level, love is sexual attraction. Many of us remain stuck there, because our conditioning has burdened our sexuality with all kinds of expectations and repressions. Actually the biggest "problem" with sexual love is that it never lasts. Only if we accept this fact can we then really celebrate it for what it is--welcome its happening, and say good-bye with gratitude when it's not.
Then as we mature, we can begin to experience the love that exists beyond sexuality and honors the unique individuality of the other. We begin to understand that our partner often functions as a mirror, reflecting unseen aspects of our deeper self and supporting us to become whole. This love is based in freedom, not expectation or need. Its wings take us higher and higher towards the universal love that experiences all as one.

As the card suggests, at least at some point in your relationship, he brought love into your life, whether it was merely physical or a more elevated type. But each relationship is actually a mirror for our inner nature, perhaps by his presence in his life, he made you more aware about your true nature, with faults and qualities as well. They say people who are alike, come together. I believe there’s a reason for that.
6. What he received in this relationship
4 of Fire – Participation

quote:
Each figure in this mandala holds the right hand up, in an attitude of receiving, and the left hand down, in an attitude of giving. The whole circle creates a tremendous energy field that takes on the shape of the double dorje, the Tibetan symbol for the thunderbolt. The mandala has a quality like that of the energy field that forms around a buddha, where all the individuals taking part in the circle make a unique contribution to create a unified and vital whole. It is like a flower, whose wholeness is even more beautiful than the sum of its parts, at the same time enhancing the beauty of each individual petal.
You have an opportunity to participate with others now to make your contribution to creating something greater and more beautiful than each of you could manage alone. Your participation will not only nourish you, but will also contribute something precious to the whole.

I think he received a feeling of belonging, of being a part of something greater than himself. You cannot be in a relationship by yourself, you need to engage in it completely, so does the other person. I think you brought him happiness and peace, a family-like feeling, which makes sense considering you have a child together.

7. His hopes or fears about the relationship
7 of Fire – Stress

quote:
How many people do you know who, just when they were completely overloaded, with too many projects, too many "balls in the air", have suddenly come down with the flu, or taken a fall and ended up on crutches? That's just the sort of "bad timing" the little monkey with the pin in his hand is about to impose on the "one-man-band" pictured here! The quality of stress represented by this card visits all of us at times, but perfectionists are particularly vulnerable to it. We create it ourselves, with the idea that without us nothing will happen--especially in the way we want it to! Well, what makes you think you're so special? Do you think the sun won't rise in the morning unless you personally set the alarm? Go for a walk, buy some flowers, and fix yourself a spaghetti dinner--anything 'unimportant' will do. Just put yourself out of that monkey's reach!

I think for him the relationship was a bit overwhelming, he had to joggle so many things in his life and I am sure becoming a father can be very stressful in certain conditions (if not all!). Perhaps his fear has to do with the fact that he thinks he’s unable to balance all his responsibilities, so he might be aloof sometimes, unable to decide which responsibility takes more priority in his life.

8. How you see him
7 of Rainbows – Patience

quote:
There are times when the only thing to do is to wait. The seed has been planted, the child is growing in the womb, the oyster is coating the grain of sand and making it into a pearl.

This card reminds us that now is a time when all that is required is to be simply alert, patient, waiting. The woman pictured here is in just such an attitude. Contented, with no trace of anxiety, she is simply waiting. Through all the phases of the moon passing overhead she remains patient, so in tune with the rhythms of the moon that she has almost become one with it. She knows it is a time to be passive, letting nature take its course. But she is neither sleepy nor indifferent; she knows it is time to be ready for something momentous. It is a time full of mystery, like the hours just before the dawn. It is a time when the only thing to do is to wait.

Perhaps you felt like the only thing for you to do is give him some space and time to figure things out on his own. Or perhaps this card is depicting him, being rather passive in your relationship, waiting for things to sort themselves out without actively participating.

9. How he sees you
2 of Rainbows – Moment to moment

quote:
As this figure moves across the stones, he steps lightly and non-seriously, and at the same time absolutely balanced and alert. Behind the swirling, ever-changing waters we can see the shapes of buildings; there appears to be a city in the background. The man is in the marketplace but at the same time outside of it, maintaining his balance and able to watch it from above.

This card challenges us to move away from our preoccupations with other spaces and other times, and stay alert to what is happening in the here and now. Life is a great ocean in which you can play if you drop all your judgments, your preferences and the attachment to the details of your long-term plans. Be available to what comes your way, as it comes. And don't worry if you stumble or fall; just pick yourself up, dust yourself off, have a good laugh, and carry on.

As well as the previous position, this card may speak about his attitude regarding you or his impression of you. If this is his attitude, then he didn’t take things much too seriously, was in it more for the fun of it. He was trying to live in the present and not worry much about the future. If this is not his attitude, then it speaks of his perception of you.

10. How you first saw him
9 of Fire – Exhaustion

quote:
This is the portrait of one whose whole life energy has been depleted in his efforts to keep fueling the enormous and ridiculous machine of self-importance and productivity. He has been so busy "keeping it all together" and "making sure everything runs smoothly", that he has forgotten to really rest. No doubt he can't allow himself to be playful. To abandon his duty for a trip to the beach could mean the whole structure might come tumbling down.

The message of this card is not just about being a workaholic, though. It is about all the ways in which we set up safe but unnatural routines for ourselves and, by doing so, keep the chaotic and spontaneous away from our doors. Life isn't a business to be managed, it's a mystery to be lived. It's time to tear up the time-card, break out of the factory, and take a little trip into the uncharted. Your work can flow more smoothly from a relaxed state of mind.

Perhaps your first impression of him was of a man who is too busy to actually live his life, that he was a bit uptight and didn’t know how to relax and enjoy himself. Perhaps that is why you felt the need to bring Adventure into the relationship.

11. How he first saw you
4 of Rainbow- The Miser

quote:
This woman has created a fortress around herself, and she is clinging to all the possessions she thinks are her treasures. In fact she has accumulated so much stuff with which to adorn herself--including the feathers and furs of living creatures--that she has made herself ugly in the effort.

This card challenges us to look at what we are clinging to, and what we feel we possess that is so valuable it needs to be protected by a fortress. It needn't be a big bank balance or a box full of jewels--it could be something as simple as sharing our time with a friend, or taking the risk of expressing our love to another. Like a well that is sealed up and becomes stagnant from disuse, our treasures become tarnished and worthless if we refuse to share them. Whatever you're holding on to, remember that you can't take it with you. Loosen your grip and feel the freedom and expansiveness sharing can bring.

Perhaps in the beginning he saw you a bit clingy and in need of reassurance and also to have something solid to hang onto. Or, again, this could have been his attitude regarding you – being possessive and controlling with you in the early stages of your relationship.

12. Your intentions for this relationship
Major Arcana IX – Aloneness

quote:
When there is no "significant other" in our lives we can either be lonely, or enjoy the freedom that solitude brings. When we find no support among others for our deeply felt truths, we can either feel isolated and bitter, or celebrate the fact that our vision is strong enough even to survive the powerful human need for the approval of family, friends or colleagues.

If you are facing such a situation now, be aware of how you are choosing to view your "aloneness" and take responsibility for the choice you have made.
The humble figure in this card glows with a light that emanates from within. One of Gautam Buddha's most significant contributions to the spiritual life of humankind was to insist to his disciples, "Be a light unto yourself." Ultimately, each of us must develop within ourselves the capacity to make our way through the darkness without any companions, maps or guide.

It seems like you already made up your mind that you need to move on and let him go, or at least take some time away from him and this relationship and be by yourself for a while, to figure things out.

13. His intentions for this relationship
Major Arcana XII - New Vision

quote:
The figure on this card is being born anew, emerging from his earthbound roots and growing wings to fly into the unbounded. The geometric shapes around the body of the figure show the many dimensions of life simultaneously available to him. The square represents the physical, the manifest, the known. The circle represents the unmanifest, the spirit, pure space. And the triangle symbolizes the threefold nature of the universe: manifest, unmanifest, and the human being who contains both.
Now you are presented with an opportunity to see life in all its dimensions, from the depths to the heights. They exist together, and when we come to know from experience that the dark and the difficult are needed as much as the light and easy, then we begin to have a very different perspective on the world. By allowing all of life's colors to penetrate us, we become more integrated.

I think he needs to figure things out too, to gain a new perspective on things and as suggested above, he needs to sort out his priorities in life.

Hi Hera!

I wonder if you could do a reading for me as well! Whenever possible, of course!

That's so generous of you

Is it possible to ask what can I expect for my coming SR? My Birthday is approaching and things still aren't easy!

Let me know if you want any more details... Thank you in advance!

14. Your influences
Major Arcana I – Existence

quote:
This naked figure sits on the lotus leaf of perfection, gazing at the beauty of the night sky. She knows that "home" is not a physical place in the outside world, but an inner quality of relaxation and acceptance. The stars, the rocks, the trees, the flowers, fish and birds--all are our brothers and sisters in this dance of life. We human beings tend to forget this, as we pursue our own private agendas and believe we must fight to get what we need. But ultimately, our sense of separateness is just an illusion, manufactured by the narrow preoccupations of the mind.

Now is the time to look at whether you are allowing yourself to receive the extraordinary gift of feeling "at "home" wherever you are. If you are, be sure to take time to savor it so it can deepen and remain with you. If on the other hand you've been feeling like the world is out to get you, it's time to take a break. Go outside tonight and look at the stars.

I think this card is suggesting you are becoming more attuned to your own needs and wishes, more at peace with your life and the circumstances surrounding this relationship. I think a time of balance and acceptance is on its way for you.

15. His influences
2 of Fire – Possibilities

quote:
The eagle has an overview of all the possibilities contained in the landscape below, as he flies freely, naturally and effortlessly through the sky. He is really in his domain, very grand and self-contained.

This card indicates that you are at a point where a world of possibilities is open to you. Because you have grown more loving towards yourself, more self-contained, you can work easily with others. Because you are relaxed and at ease, you can recognize possibilities as they present themselves, sometimes even before others can see them. Because you are in tune with your own nature, you understand that existence is providing you with exactly what you need. Enjoy the flight! And celebrate all the varied wonders of the landscape spread before you.

I think he is also coming close to a time when he is more in tune with himself. This card speaks about possibilities, clearly in this spread it has been suggested he has to joggle with several responsibilities. It could mean he is more ready to pick his priorities in life, to choose from the possibilities the ones that serve his best interest.

16. Outcome
10 of Water – Harmony

quote:
The experience of resting in the heart in meditation is not something that can be grasped or forced. It comes naturally, as we grow more and more in tune with the rhythms of our own inner silences. The figure on this card reflects the sweetness and delicacy of this experience. The dolphins that emerge from the heart and make an arc towards the third eye reflect the playfulness and intelligence that comes when we are able to connect with the heart and move into the world from there.

Let yourself be softer and more receptive now, because an inexpressible joy is waiting for you just around the corner. Nobody else can point it out to you, and when you find it you won't be able to find the words to express it to others. But it's there, deep within your heart, ripe and ready to be discovered.

This is actually a very optimistic card. Whatever you will end up choosing for your relationship, you both will be at peace with your decision and I think it will bring more harmony between you two. It might mean that you’ll decide to give it a second chance, as I said it is an optimistic card. But if you decide it is time to let it go, you will be able to do so without anger or regret. You will be able to accept the past for the wonderful things it has given you, to forgive and move on peacefully. But I incline towards a reconciliation between you two.

Yes, Venia, but there are still a bunch of people who posted questions on the old thread that I must answer first... So it might take a while. Hopefully readings won't disappear on this thread, I put a lot of effort into them and hate them disappearing like that in the blink of an eye...

Now that I'm out of the saturn square venus period I'm kind of wondering if there's a chance that we might reconnect? I really wonder because I've had a readings done which have let me know that I should be starting a relationship with the "one" by the next six months to a year. Do you think there's a chance that my old love interest could be the "one".

Anyways, could you let me know what you see on the love horizon for me? Ie when will a new love come into my life. And when I should be keeping an eye out for it?

Thank you so much

Cecile, you're next, but I need to take a break, I'm kinda exhausted right now.

Thank you sooooo much Hera! It's hard to put into words what I'm feeling now with your wonderful and sooooo accurate reading. I'll write a more detailed response later!

I just came from doing an eye exam and my eyes are still dilated. But I'll post my reactions later. But you got everything so right, especially about him juggling different things in his life...It's good to know that I'll be at peace with whatever outcome.

Hi Hera, thanks for the kind offer. I'd like to ask how he feels towards me now that we're away from each other. Is there still hope? He's a friend of mine who is deeply close to me, but we don't see each other anymore due to some issues. Please take your time, i'm not really in a hurry to get my reading

So where to begin…I finally am getting down to writing my response to your reading which was excellent by the way…I especially like your personal interpretations and the ability to look at the cards and make sense of them myself.
So…here they are:

What you bring into this relationship?
Page of Rainbows – Adventure

Like the card suggests, you brought a spirit of adventure, excitement and enthusiasm in this relationship. You threw caution to the wind and got involved in it wholeheartedly, passionately, but this also left you in a vulnerable position.

To me, adventure, excitement and enthusiasm was key in this relationship. There are a lot of Uranus contacts (Uranus conjunct ascendant in the composite). I didn’t bring it myself but that is what I got out of the relationship. It jolted my world and I certainly threw caution to the wind getting involved wholeheartedly. I’m definitely this little girl in the card above entering a world of wonder and rainbow…and of course, I SUFFERED a lot when it came time to leave. I just had to leave and continue on my career path.
But I got transformed wholeheartedly too as suggested in the second card What you received in this relationship
9 of Clouds – Sorrow.
I’ve become a woman (through love and giving birth, through listening to my voice) I’m just leaving the pain behind for the path months or so and relax and accept things as they are, get what I can, and try not to worry too much of what I can’t. Maybe that is a form of moving on but what brought me to this site is that the attraction is still very strong and he always pulls me back to him which has been happening the past year.

Your hopes or fears for this relationship
4 of Water – Turning in
This card speaks of detachment by turning in, by ignoring the outside events and even your partner. Perhaps you feel the need to detach yourself from him, or since it appeared in your fears position, you may feel reluctant to do so. Sometimes it is good to put some distance between us and the outside world, to let our inner clarity shine through.

You reading here is interesting. I have learnt TO DETACH a lot in this relationship or through this relationship. This is not something that is natural to me: I’m a scorpio rising with venus in pisces. I’m always about emotions. He’s an aquarius moon: that is his key word: he would tell me to detach and accept things since we can’t do much about them now. My venus and moon squares his Saturn also. I also I believe have a reluctance as you wrote of detaching because if I do sufficiently I’m afraid to not know how to love back. I don’t know how to explain it but you got it right here when you see it appearing in my fear position. To give an example, back between 2009 and 2010, I decided to completely detach from the situation and from him. We would communicate regularly but I’d keep things “businesslike” if you will, speaking of our daughter and giving news but never about my emotions, missing him and such…and then of course, especially starting in 2010 that’s all he wanted to talk about. I was so far away that I just couldn’t bridge the distance back and was rigid with him. In that distance, resentment and anger began to take place and it just wasn’t good for me long-term emotionally.

What you both got from this relationship
King of Fire – The Creator
The first thing that came to my mind was that you both got to create life through your relationship with each other – that wonderful child you two share, which will always bind you, no matter what happens in your lives or how many miles you are apart of each other.

SPOT ON there…our child is the most beautiful thing we share and have created. The first thing that came to my mind was that you both got to create life through your relationship with each other – that wonderful child you two share, which will always bind you, no matter what happens in your lives or how many miles you are apart of each other. It’s a new experience for both of us and I think we would have still been in contact even without her but she serves as a common objective to protect despite personal emotions sometimes.

What he brings into the relationship
Major Arcana VI- The Lovers
As the card suggests, at least at some point in your relationship, he brought love into your life, whether it was merely physical or a more elevated type. But each relationship is actually a mirror for our inner nature, perhaps by his presence in his life, he made you more aware about your true nature, with faults and qualities as well. They say people who are alike, come together. I believe there’s a reason for that.

He did bring a lot of love into my life. I learnt how to love with him and through him. It was/still is very sexual though on both ends. I feel that I’ll always love him more though: I’ll always be willing to sacrifice more for this love which is why I suffered. He only begins to suffer when I say enough is enough about his detachment and then retreats (detach) into my own world and then he goes through a crisis.

What he received in this relationship
4 of Fire – Participation
I think he received a feeling of belonging, of being a part of something greater than himself. You cannot be in a relationship by yourself, you need to engage in it completely, so does the other person. I think you brought him happiness and peace, a family-like feeling, which makes sense considering you have a child together.

He did get everything that you described here from me. He was going through a very dark period in his life when we met and I definitely brought him happiness and peace and this family like feeling. My sun is in his fourth house by the way. We lived together for two years: usually he keeps girlfriends at bay definitely. But I also fit with his family as he always said. His mother and I are very close and of course there’s our daughter now.

His hopes or fears about the relationship
7 of Fire – Stress
I think for him the relationship was a bit overwhelming, he had to joggle so many things in his life and I am sure becoming a father can be very stressful in certain conditions (if not all!). Perhaps his fear has to do with the fact that he thinks he’s unable to balance all his responsibilities, so he might be aloof sometimes, unable to decide which responsibility takes more priority in his life.

Did you meet and talk with him???? LOL. That summarizes how he experienced this relationship even before becoming a father. He does juggle too many things in his life, a very negative trait in my opinion cause he can’t focus or finish any: he’s an ARIES with Venus, Mars, and Saturn in GEMINI in 8th house. The juggling aspect I think comes from Gemini. But as far as the relationship feeling overwhelming to him I think (am not an expert) that it has to my PLUTO sitting on top of his ASCENDANT IN LIBRA. It’s a very close conjunction. I overwhelm and unsettle him just being in the same room with him.

How you see him
7 of Rainbows – Patience
Perhaps you felt like the only thing for you to do is give him some space and time to figure things out on his own.

You got it spot on there. I’ve always been patient literally but I’ve been giving him space to figure things out on his own whatever that maybe.

How he sees you
2 of Rainbows – Moment to moment
As well as the previous position, this card may speak about his attitude regarding you or his impression of you. If this is his attitude, then he didn’t take things much too seriously, was in it more for the fun of it. He was trying to live in the present and not worry much about the future.

You got it spot on again, which goes back I think to the love card, my feelings are always going to be stronger, or my commitment are always going to be stronger than his. He has way too much GEMINI energy for me as I’m a Cap with Scorpio on the ascendant. I approach every relationship with the intention of long term which is why I’ve been in very few relationships. He’s more like a “let’s enjoy the moment and experience things together, grow together without worrying about the future.” This is/was part of the excitement of the relationship but its source of strife.

How you first saw him
9 of Fire – Exhaustion
Perhaps your first impression of him was of a man who is too busy to actually live his life, that he was a bit uptight and didn’t know how to relax and enjoy himself. Perhaps that is why you felt the need to bring Adventure into the relationship.

HE SAW ME THAT WAY not the other way around. I’m the serious type though I love to laugh. He’s the happy go lucky type who brought adventure into my life (as depicted in card one) “uptight” “don’t know how to relax” would be how he would describe me lol…

How he first saw you
4 of Rainbow- The Miser

Perhaps in the beginning he saw you a bit clingy and in need of reassurance and also to have something solid to hang onto.

He did see me as clingy and in need of reassurance. I needed to be reassured because of his detachment…I wasn’t possessive though otherwise it would never have been a relationship as he abhors that as hell.

Your intentions for this relationship
Major Arcana IX – Aloneness

It seems like you already made up your mind that you need to move on and let him go, or at least take some time away from him and this relationship and be by yourself for a while, to figure things out.

I hope you’re right there Hera…This card sums up one of the greatest challenges of moving on from a relationship: the tension between feeling lonely and being alone! Right now I am alone and I like it but not necessarily lonely anymore. When I feel deeply lonely I know that I can always go back and talk to him and get my feelings settled (we have great communications/he serves as my “therapist” in a weird way) but I enjoy being alone now…I hope that I don’t become too settled into that…

. His intentions for this relationship
Major Arcana XII - New Vision

I think he needs to figure things out too, to gain a new perspective on things and as suggested above, he needs to sort out his priorities in life.

This is what he is DEFINITELY going through now: rebirth/transformation! He has gone back to school to get a degree and I’m just so happy that Saturn is on his ascendant right now opposing his sun, thus forcing him to ground himself.

Your influences
Major Arcana I – Existence[/b]
I think this card is suggesting you are becoming more attuned to your own needs and wishes, more at peace with your life and the circumstances surrounding this relationship. I think a time of balance and acceptance is on its way for you.

By the way, Anon10gl had gotten the EMPRESS for me in another spread and I think it’s the same idea…I am definitely starting to feel the balance and acceptance, since last month…maybe it’s the eclipse already manifesting itself in my life: it’s in my first house, and the next (10th of December) will be in my 7th house. I’m paying attention to the universe now because the last ones (june and july) hit me very hard! Some of it was positive: moving to a new town, new job, but was very hard relationship wise!

15. His influences
[i]2 of Fire – Possibilities
I think he is also coming close to a time when he is more in tune with himself. This card speaks about possibilities, clearly in this spread it has been suggested he has to joggle with several responsibilities. It could mean he is more ready to pick his priorities in life, to choose from the possibilities the ones that serve his best interest.

I’m not even gonna write anything here. It’s as if you’ve been observing him for the past couple of months! He even referred to himself as an eagle needing to make the right choices!!!

Outcome
10 of Water – Harmony

This is actually a very optimistic card. Whatever you will end up choosing for your relationship, you both will be at peace with your decision and I think it will bring more harmony between you two. It might mean that you’ll decide to give it a second chance, as I said it is an optimistic card. But if you decide it is time to let it go, you will be able to do so without anger or regret. You will be able to accept the past for the wonderful things it has given you, to forgive and move on peacefully. But I incline towards a reconciliation between you two.

I hope you’re right about the “reconciliation” Hera! I really do! I can let him go finally and be at peace but I really would like us to be together again, in the same country for once! I miss him being physically there with me even though over the past here we’ve become emotionally close again! My only concern is to not repeat the same mistake of the past: being that innocent little girl who throws caution to the wind has really caused me a lot of sorrow that I wish to avoid.

THANKS FOR A WONDERFULLY DETAILED AND ACCURATE READING!!! May you receive a thousand fold all the help and advice that you are providing on this board!

Zarea,

Thank you for such an awesome feedback! Wow, I wasn't exactly sure where the cards fitted (if it was your impression of each other or your attitudes towards the other... "how you see him" for example can mean both), I wasn't sure if they fit at all! I'm glad the reading resonated with you and I hope it has helped you in a way.

Wishing you all the best and many blessings!

Hera

PS: I haven't met him lol, but he sounds a bit like my ex (he was also saying let's live in the present, forget about the future, etc... until the future bit him in the a$$ when he found out he's going to be a father - I was the down to earth one too, at least tried to be, I'm Cap Asc hehe... but he also got me to throw caution to the wind... It's not that I regret it, I also learned how to love through this relationship.. but opening your heart leaves it vulnerable to bruising). I guess we both need to learn how to balance the two (caution and adventure).

READING FOR CECILE

FIRST SPREAD – IS HE THE ONE?

1. Is he potentially the one for you?

Major Arcana V – No-Thingness

quote:
Buddha has chosen one of the really very potential words--shunyata. The English word, the English equivalent, "nothingness", is not such a beautiful word. That's why I would like to make it "no-thingness"--because the nothing is not just nothing, it is all. It is vibrant with all possibilities. It is potential, absolute potential. It is unmanifest yet, but it contains all. In the beginning is nature, in the end is nature, so why in the middle do you make so much fuss? Why, in the middle, becoming so worried, so anxious, so ambitious--why create such despair? Nothingness to nothingness is the whole journey.
Being "in the gap" can be disorienting and even scary. Nothing to hold on to, no sense of direction, not even a hint of what choices and possibilities might lie ahead. But it was just this state of pure potential that existed before the universe was created. All you can do now is to relax into this no-thingness...fall into this silence between the words...watch this gap between the outgoing and incoming breath. And treasure each empty moment of the experience. Something sacred is about to be born.

Well, this card is a bit mysterious, but given the whole spread, I would say this person was not the one for you. He was someone you met on your path, who perhaps had things to teach you or vice versa. Anyhow, he was in your life for a reason, but I don't think it is "in sickness and in health… till death do us part". Not everyone can be the one for us… I guess he wasn't the one for you, but that one will come, when you will both be ready to meet each other.

2. Is commitment/marriage possible with this person?

Given that this is a very positive card, I think a relationship with this person is quite likely and possible, if you both desire so. Even if he is not the one for you, I don't see why you should refrain from taking a chance to experience a journey with this man, wherever it may lead. I think passion would be quite strong between you two, perhaps at the very base of this relationship.

3. Influences acting against this relationship
Major Arcana – The Master

quote:
The Master in Zen is not a master over others, but a master of himself. His every gesture and his every word reflect his enlightened state. He has no private goals, no desire that anything should be other than the way it is. His disciples gather around him not to follow him, but to soak up his presence and be inspired by his example. In his eyes they find their own truth reflected, and in his silence they fall more easily into the silence of their own beings.
The master welcomes the disciples not because he wants to lead them, but because he has so much to share. Together, they create an energy field that supports each unique individual in finding his or her own light. If you can find such a master you are blessed. If you cannot, keep on searching. Learn from the teachers, and the would-be masters, and move on. Charaiveti, charaiveti, said Gautam Buddha. Keep on moving.

I would take this card of the Master as your Higher Self, your Guide, God or whatever you wish to call him/it/her. This card appearing in the position against the relationship can mean that this relationship is not exactly right for you. He is not the destined one, but if you stubbornly pursue him, you might stray from your true path, from your Higher Self/Guide/Master/God. I think this card is saying this relationship is not for your chosen path. It may be tempting, but it will lead you astray. This doesn't mean that you have to cut him from your life, you did meet for a reason, but that reason doesn't seem to be love.

4. Influences acting in favor of this relationship
Major Arcana VII – Awareness

quote:
The veil of illusion, or maya, that has been keeping you from perceiving reality as it is, is starting to burn away. The fire is not the heated fire of passion, but the cool flame of awareness. As it burns the veil, the face of a very delicate and childlike buddha becomes visible.
The awareness that is growing in you now is not the result of any conscious "doing", nor do you need to struggle to make something happen. Any sense you might have had that you've been groping in the dark is dissolving now, or will be dissolving soon.

Let yourself settle, and remember that deep inside you are just a witness, eternally silent, aware and unchanged. A channel is now opening from the circumference of activity to that center of witnessing. It will help you to become detached, and a new awareness will lift the veil from your eyes.

I think, as the card suggests, that you will in time figure out the true nature of this relationship, the reason while he is in your life, still haunting your hidden hopes and dreams of happiness. There is a reason for that, and it speaks more about you than about your relationship. Think about what attracts you to this man, why you want this relationship – these things are clues about YOU, actually. Whatever path this relationship will take, you will soon find out.

5. What can you do to get ready for him to be a part of your life
3 of Water – Celebration

quote:
These three women dancing in the wind and the rain remind us that celebration never need depend on outside circumstances. We need not wait for a special holiday or a formal occasion, nor a sunny and cloudless day. True celebration arises from a joy that is first experienced deep within, and spills over into an overflow of song and dance and laughter, and yes, even tears of gratitude.

When you choose this card, it indicates that you are becoming more and more available and open to the many opportunities that are to celebrate in life, and to spread this by contagion to others. Don't bother about scheduling a party on your calendar. Let your hair down, take your shoes off, and start splashing in the puddles right now. The party is happening all around you every moment!

As this card is advising, you need to learn to appreciate more all the beautiful things in your life and start enjoying yourself more, have fun, laugh, go out with friends, find things that make you happy and fulfilled and celebrate them! Usually it's the little things in life that make us happy – find out what yours are.

6. What should he do to be ready to be a part of your life
Major Arcana II – Inner voice

quote:
The Inner Voice speaks not in words but in the wordless language of the heart. It is like an oracle who only speaks the truth. If it had a face, it would be like the face at the center of this card--alert, watchful, and able to accept both the dark and the light, symbolized by the two hands holding the crystal. The crystal itself represents the clarity that comes from transcending all dualities.
The Inner Voice can also be playful, as it dives deep into the emotions and emerges again to soar towards the sky, like two dolphins dancing in the waters of life. It is connected with the cosmos, through the crescent-moon crown, and the earth, as represented by the green leaves on the figure's kimono.

There are times in our lives when too many voices seem to be pulling us this way and that. Our very confusion in such situations is a reminder to seek silence and centering within. Only then are we able to hear our truth.

To be a part of your life, this man needs to listen more to his intuition and his instincts, his inner voice. He needs to allow himself the receptivity of looking within and understanding the message. He needs to open up to his personal truth.

7. Will you be happy with this person?
10 of Fire – Supression

quote:
In Sanskrit the name is alaya vigyan, the house where you go on throwing into the basement things that you want to do but you cannot, because of social conditions, culture, civilization. But they go on collecting there, and they affect your actions, your life, very indirectly.
Directly, they cannot face you--you have forced them into darkness, but from the dark side they go on influencing your behavior. They are dangerous, it is dangerous to keep all those inhibitions inside you.
It is possible that these are the things that come to a climax when a person goes insane. Insanity is nothing but all these suppressions coming to a point where you cannot control them anymore.
The figure on this card is quite literally "all tied up in knots". His light still shines within, but he has repressed his own vitality trying to meet so many demands and expectations. He has given up all his own power and vision in return for being accepted by the very same forces that have imprisoned him. The danger of suppressing one's natural energy in this way is apparent in the cracks of a volcanic eruption about to take place around the edges of the image.

I think this is a clear "no" to your question. In order for you to be happy with this man, you will have to forget your own dreams and wishes, so you can conform to his demands and expectations. These might not be so directly spelled out, but they will be there, perhaps unsaid, but underlined. Again, the cards are saying that a romantic relationship with this man is against your true path and could possibly become dangerous because you will end up denying yourself and your nature to conform with his expectations… Do you really want to do that?

------------------
Whatever you give to a woman, she will make it GREATER. Give her SPERM, she will give you a BABY. Give her a HOUSE, she will give you a HOME. Give her GROCERIES, she will give you a MEAL. Give her LOVE, and she will give you her HEART! She multiplies and enlarges what she is given. So, if you give her CR@P, be prepared to receive a ton of SH!T!

I hope I'm not breaking your flow in this reading but just wanted to acknowledge your post. Yep, he was very much like, let's enjoy the moment...I don't know if I regret it or not...I think its beyond that. I'm at a stage where I can speak this way. As much as the experience hurt, I feel much more alive having gone through this: I would do a number of things differently though! But since you're a CAP ascendant, (I'm a capricorn sun) you'll understood how attracted I was: He just light up my life: It was a great break from the books. Now I can go back to my books without feeling like I'm missing out on life. That must be the lesson I've learnt through this I guess...I hope you feel better soon about your particular situation!

Hera,

I am so enamored with the cards and your readings. Like a soothing cup of hot cocoa, the images and words are comforting...

Getting closer on the list. I hope it's ok that I'm reading the others in the meantime ((genuinely a little embarrassed))

You're not breaking my flow. Hehe. It is tricky because I have to split my post when doing a readings (and some can be quite lengthy), and that is when I would like to have no interruptions, it would be odd to have a post in the middle of the reading.

I hope you will feel better soon, as well!

PS: I am not the mother of his child, in case you were wondering.

Ms Venus, thank you! I enjoy reading with this deck immensely, I hope the people who receive the readings can find their solace in them and be delivered the message they need to hear. That is what I always pray for before doing a reading, to be allowed to deliver the message the person needs to hear... I hope I'm doing an ok job.. not much of a psychic, just an empath.
