I have a Virgo descendant and I am attracted to some Virgo moons, but not Virgo suns. They just don't do it for me.

Have Capricorn on my DES, not really romantically attracted to Capricorn men nor them to me, though I do admire their qualities.

I also have Aqua on DC, and I've never been particularly attracted to them romantically. I have a couple of friends who are Aquas, but that's it.

Yeah this applies to me too. I have Aquarius DC and though I've never been in a relationship with an Aquarius, I have had a few good friends who are and I love their energy- it's really fresh for my cancer sun.

Remember that the DC sign shows the *quality* of relationship you tend towards. I've seen others with aqua DC have relationships with themes of cross-culture and big age gaps. I've experienced that, for sure. But not romantically interested in a aqua sun. Too much in the mental realm for my liking.

Virgo dsc here .I am not attracted to this sign. However, I have sun/mars/merc in my 7th house, and I'm intensely attracted to the signs each of those planets rule.

Aries
Leo
Scorpio (mostly the moon in this sign)
And to a much lesser degree, a few gemini men too. one in real life, and the others were celebrities lol.

Like Ceri mentioned: you should also pay attention to the DSC ruler - the sign and house it's in, and the aspects it makes.

The 7th house is only one relationship house. There are many other factors to take into consideration for your personal attraction.

I’m not attracted to Taurus(my DSC) but I prefer long term relationship which could be the trait of Taurus DSC and I’m attracted to Libra which is ruled by Venus.

I have Leo on the DC and I have never dated a Leo man, although I like a man with confidence. Maybe it's that the Leo men are not attracted to me which would explain the lack of opportunity for me to even figure out if I like Leo men.

I used to mainly be interested in Taurus or Capricorn men (LOL, maybe my Mars in Capricorn) and now, for years, I'm only attracted to Scorpio men (Scorpio is my own sun sign).

Adding to what ail and Kerosene said, the sign the DC falls in isn't necessarily supposed to be interpreted as the sign you're attracted to either. The DC is there to show the traits that your relationship or significant other might have or represent, and how these play in to attracting and even completing you!

A Scorpio DC doesn't mean you will be attracted to Scorpios...but maybe you're attracted to meaningful, merging relationships! Maybe you're attracted to the idea of sharing your cores with one another, telling each other the secrets you've never told anyone else and then saying "I'll have to kill you now." Maybe you don't give yourself away very easily and you want that one person you can utterly surrender yourself to. Maybe you even tend to find yourself in toxic relationships! These are all things Scorpio can represent.

Nor am I.

I do have Pluto Conjunct Venus, however. That is a very Potent Creative placement, and put to use in the House of Service.

My prom date was a gemini and my descendent is gemini. I never dated another gemini after that or got interested in another gemini after that. I do like the guy from how I met your mother (barney, neil patrick I think) and he is a gemini but not interested in woman and he is the only gemini I would date if I was single and he was straight LOL.

My husband is super intellectual but he is a libra BUT I definitely did get married to a mercurial type after all, even though I wasn't necessarily looking for that. Whether I want to admit or not I do need that mental stimulation or I will probably grow bored quickly of my partner. I always had a hard time admitting that to myself so yes the 7th house will play a role in your marriage and how your marriage is like but dont look at the sign alone also look at the 7th house ruler.

Edit: Husband has jupiter in virgo which conjuncts my Sun and jupiter has to do with marriage. His saturn also conjuncts my sun out of sign and saturn has to do with karma and commitment.

Scorpio descendents usually marry someone with a higher sex drive than themselves.

I have Aquarius on my descendant and while I've never dated an Aqua, my ex had a 5-planet stellium in the 11th house (all personal planets plus Aquarius ascendant).

What would an Aquarian descendant represent I wonder, an attraction to oddballs? Lol.

Hi there,

Do you mind if I ask you how you feel about your 8th house sign for a partner… Sign on the cusp of the 8th, and the location of it’s ruler?

There are three houses most commonly associated with romantic attraction. The 5th, the 7th, and the 8th. The sign on the cusp of a ‘love’ house, the location of it’s ruler, and how it’s aspect tell us a lot about what we’re attracted to different areas of a relationship… Romance/sparks (5th house), partnership/affection (7th house), and intimacy/private bond (8th house).

Now, it’s said that synastry involving the 5th, 7th, and 8th houses create really strong attractions. This is often true. However, if a love interest’s planets don’t fall in or aspect the rulers of these houses directly, sometimes they’ll fall into the ‘secondary’ 5th, 7th, or 8th houses.

How this works is that if a person has Gemini on the Dsc (Like me), and the partner doesn’t really fit the symbolism of the 7th house, then I’d look at the 3rd house to see if the partner matches the symbolism of that house. The reason I do this is because Gemini traditionally rules the 3rd house. People with Gemini on the Dsc may crave good communication in a relationship, and so find themselves attracted to the 3rd house rather then the 7th at times.

It works like this with every Dsc sign… If I had Taurus on the Dsc, I would be on the lookout 2nd synastry. Aries on the Dsc would make me drawn to 1st house synastry and so on. Also look at the planets in the ‘secondary’ 7th house, if the Moon were in this house it may attract you to a sensitive partner, but Mars or Uranus here may attract you to an eccentric or energetic partner.

So Earthypisces, If you’re not drawn to the Scorpio part of your 7th house, maybe the 8th house (which is ruled by Scorpio traditionally) resonates with you more in terms of what you’re attracted to.

Another thing I’d like to point out is the position of Mars, and the house traditionally ruled by the sign of Mars. For instance, if a girl has Mars in Aquarius she might be really attracted to guys with strong Aquarius or Uranus in their charts, or to men with planets in her 11th house natally. It works for men with Venus too. If a guy has Venus in Virgo, he may be attracted to Virgo traits in women, and he may be attracted to women who put planets in his 6th house natally.

Earthypisces, where’s your Mars (I’m assuming you’re a women) , and what house does the sign of your Mars traditionally rule? Are you drawn to these placements?

I have Aquarius on my DESC and ,though,I have had a few friends of that sign,I never had a love interest with one, however, some do attract me especially those with Gemini rising.
On the other hand,I feel really attracted to Saggitarius influenced men and Scorpios with a Saggitarius Venus or Mars are my favorite people lol

Aquarius is on my Desc too and I'm not attracted to Aquarians (romantically).
However, I am attracted to my Desc co-ruler's sign; (Saturn in Pisces), as well as my Secondary Desc ruler's sign (Mercury in Virgo).

My daughter has that with Uranus Conjunct. She is unpredictable. She can be a real character, and then she can be a disruptive pain in the tuchus.

She's never boring, though.
