Venus retrograde isn’t necessarily bad, right? It’s an opportunity to think about what we value and how we relate to the matters of the house Venus will transit in our birth chart. I never like Venus retrograde. Even if something happens, and it works out, it’s left me with horrible self-esteem, or just carrying something that shouldn’t have happened in the first place. IP: Logged |

That was an interesting read. I like the idea of taking time off from big spending. I need to watch my finances anyway. Spending money and indulging can be a form of escapism, taking a good look at what it is that you really want and what your pleasures bring you but also cost you, can be very liberating. Venus will be spending her time in my 10th and 11th house. I'm thinking about a career switch, so maybe Venus will help me with a new perspective on my goals and attract the right people for me to get on my new path. I'll be on vacation during the shadow before it goes rx and goes retrograde.And my ex husband is a 12 degree Leo. I have SN 13 degree Leo. And IC Leo. This will certainly be a time for my NN, MC, Mars sign. And my Scorpio stuff. My Sun sign, rising sign, and Mercury. IP: Logged |

Does Venus represent any challenges in your birth chart? Or does it rule a planet that is under pressure in your chart? Last time Venus was retrograde in December 2021 in Capricorn, and before that in May/June 2020 in Gemini. My marriage was taking a nosedive late 2020 and basically ended early 2021. It doesn’t coincide with any of the retrograde dates. And even if it would, I got divorced for a reason. The worst outcome would have been still stuck in a marriage that was completely eroding my self worth and pushing me into depression. We did make our divorce public when both Venus and Mars were in Leo, so the drama of Leo was definitely there. IP: Logged |

I slept on the floor with him, so that he wouldn’t fall off the furniture. November was bad. Last dog died, and then we adopted another one a few weeks later, which cheered us up for thanksgiving ( and him), only for my aunt B. to die on my mum’s birthday. Then Christmas, I felt sure that it would be our last with mum, and I was right. 😔 I can’t find dates further back past 2001, right now, which is probably good. I need to eat something, and get busy. I've noticed ten year cycles, tend to book-end each other. My mum was planning to leave my dad, around or after one Venus retrograde. Ten/eleven years later, they got back together, under the same Venus retro (same sign). My BIL first hit on me during one Venus retro. Ten years later, different sign, but everything exploded, because of him. I was born in the hour when Venus is strong. My Venus is conjunct my Moon and South Node, square Mars in Pisces, sextile Jupiter, and trine Pluto. Inconjunct Uranus/ascendant. IP: Logged |

How does Venus in retrograde effect someone when it conjuncts a personal planet? It will conjunct Mars in my 10th house. This year has not been the easiest so I'm bracing myself. When it retrograded in 2018 I was in an unhappy marriage and miserable. I'm just hoping for not miserable this time.Nutral would be highly favorable.IP: Logged |

8 years go (2015) i fell in love with my ex (my first and only longterm relationship)
we met right after Venus stationed direct back then
interestingly this upcoming Venus Rx goes back and forth over the composite Ascendent/Jupiter/Juno under no conditions would i want him back however a new love potentially entering my life is very appealing. i have two crushes: one on the local barista and my roommate’s son i haven’t met lol

Interesting, a few days ago I was channeling about my new reboot in my appearance. I thought school season would be perfect. Ironically venus will go direct by then. I'm definitely going to ride the retrograde through and decide which of my past looks to retry when it goes fwd again.
It's not effecting my chart in any way of worry. If anything the death of the look I've had through my transforming this past year.IP: Logged |
