Topic: What sign, besides scorp, is obsessive in love?

Obsessive to the point of acting on their obsession, like watching or following a person? I know it's not really a sign thing, per se, but I think certain signs are more than others -- like scorp. Libra can tend to be this way. I also think aries and cancers...all the cardinal signs can become a bit obsessive and act on it.
I am not talking about serious stalking here, but things like driving past someone's house here and there.
What say you?

The only two people that have been in that "haha" obsessive love with me is a ex Taurus and my Capricorn friend..The person I sometimes do this with is, my Leo friend..*sighs* but Im was never stepping my boundaries or being creep X_X IP: Logged |

Virgo. We obsess because we want to lose control and need a person we can 'let go' with, and if we find someone we like enough, we'll tend to obsess over wanting to let go.BUT
I don't think this is a sun sign thing alone at all. I think Venus and esp the Moon says a lot about this kind of thing.
Pluto influence makes a huge difference too.

Whatever I am equals obsessive in love.  But, I clear my conscious by letting the person know that "I am watching you". So far my objects of affections like it, like this guy I am stalking on facebook recently, he doesn't mind.I am Scorpio AC, Jupiter (conj AC), Mars, Eros.
Virgo Sun, Venus and PoF

I was actually thinking pisces and virgo too. Pisces for teh mercury-mind connection and pisces for neptune. Cheshire, You're ok, I wasn't talking about the "creepo" type of stalking that involves restraining orders and wells.

Everyone stalks on FB, that's what it's meant for, remember?!  If you wanted to not stalk someone on there, you just block them. Otherwise, everyone's curious. I can be obsessive, but for me it's only relegated to the mind. I don't do the drive bys or anything like that. I don't like to go out of my way. Besides, I think about it and then I realize how pointless it would be and I would feel dumb, lol. Besides, gas is expensive! Haha, so I guess I am practical about it. Besides, I am so intuitive I usually know what someone is doing anyway.

Diana~ Yeah, I couldn't, for the life of me, get up and into my car and drive by your place of residence or work. That too me is not honorable. So, yeah, mild stalker here then. Saturn in Scorpio is said to stalk pretty stealthily and consistently. No offense anyone. Maybe someone can confirm or deny that re: Saturn in Scorpio??? IP: Logged |

Yes, I am obsessed in love. I have been so for long time. First my on off relationship in 2 year and now in another man.. It constantly occupied my mind. I´m not a stalker.I have it in transit pluto opposite venus, nod mars. I think it will be over 2010 . I ponder over everything so I am obsessed. I think its my moon in t-square to merk, uran, pluto opposite saturn.

I get really obsessive when I'm not with someone I want to be...once he is "mine", my obsessions turn to other things. Often I am obsessive about my work, for example.Leo Sun, Cancer Moon, Cap rising....but, my Sun-Merc and Mars are in the 8th and Pluto is squared my Moon and AC-DC axis. IP: Logged |

I think every sign can get obsessive, but they'll act on that motivation differently. Aries, for example, will chase. I think that's different from Scorpio following. The Aries tells himself and others he's pursuing. The Scorpio tells himself he's doing research and doesn't tell anyone else anything since it's none of their d@mn business. I know an Aries who moved across the country to pursue his crush. I also know a Scorpio who followed her first love across the country to grad school. The Aries straight out told his crush he was there for her; the Scorpio led her ex to believe her appearance was just a coincidence. (Sadly for the Aries he didn't get the girl, but the Scorpio and her first love are now happily married with two kids.) When it comes to living out an obsession in the way you describe - watching, following - I'm sorry to give Scorpio a monopoly, but I think that's Scorpio/Pluto/8th house work. I'd be interested in seeing the chart of someone who engages in that mild stalking but lacks a Scorpio influence. It doesn't have to be the Sun with that energy. Any of the personal planets and the ASC-DSC axis could do it too. Pluto in the 7th too, maybe even in the 5th bc of its Venus-feel. Midpoints with Pluto. Since signs sometimes hold their opposite in their shadow, I'd also say Taurus. IP: Logged |

I guess I will go ahead a feed the Sag Myth Machine, and tell the truth.
I am obsessed with the chase. And as long as I feel like I am always chasing (even if I'm really not) then I will stay obsessed. I do have Aries rising so that might have a wee bit to do with it. <:

I don't know if anyone else will agree with me here, but my only experience with obsessive people have been Gemini suns!there's two types .. the ones who are fickle in love and wouldn't give two thoughts to saying goodbye, and the ones who secretly obsess over you, check up on what you do, know when you have been online and ask why you didnt reply to their message when they know you were online for 10 minutes 2 days ago... etc
Taurus as well.. I can be obsessive Usually when my suspicions are aroused (my gut instincts are always right and I read body language very well), but definitely all within the law. I can get investigative though and find out little facts, piece them all together, figure out the truth - i always figure out the truth - and then let the person know! lol .. people have got to learn not to lie to me XP
Taurus Sun/Aqua ASC/Libra Moon Scorpio planets/angles: Mars, Saturn, Pluto, MC. Jupiter in Capricorn. Mercury in Aries (probably why I investigate then confront maybe?) There my dirty secret's out haha ETA: Maybe I am obsessive with knowing the truth and getting to the bottom of things because Scorpio is placed at my 9th/10th house (MC is at 20 Scorp, Mars is at 23 Scorp).
My moon is in the 9th too in Libra.
I guess when my principles and ethics/philosophies are challenged I get obsessive with the truth (i.e. I don't lie especially with big things, so don't expect others to either, honesty is big for me)

No offense taken. When there's someone I'm really interested in, I'll watch stealthily from afar, though I do not follow them around. I gather as much info about the person on my own without asking them directly for info about themselves. Saturn is also my chart ruler, so my Scorpio Saturn is particularly strong, which doesn't help. MsCandeh, Haha. I'm a Gemini Sun and I do indeed become very obsessed, not just with people but also with work. My attention span lasts several hours when I'm truly interested in whatever I'm working on.

Oddly my Aquarius friend is obsessive. He does drive-bys, talking to friends of friends, and the whole bit. He's got a Gemini Moon, Aqua Venus, Pisces Mars, Cappy rising.I am a Virgo and I don't really consider myself obsessive much at all. I like to fantasize occasionally, and if I REALLY dig a guy he'll be the only one I have eyes for, but I definitely don't go to the extent of doing drive-bys, grilling his friends, etc, etc. It's just not worth the effort to me. I either trust him or I don't. I've got Aries Moon, Virgo Venus, Leo Mars, Scorpio rising. I've also got that Saturn in Scorpio, and I'm not obsessive. It's even conjunct my Pluto. If anything, I distance myself too much when I really like someone. I don't know that cardinal signs are anything more than possessive when they really like you. I've noticed that it's the fixed signs that really get obsessed. I think mutables are obsessive when they are insecure with themselves or the relationship.
