I thought this would be an interesting topic. What house is Pluto transiting in your chart? And more importantly, do you feel you understand what he's asking you to do? What is he asking you to transform about your life?

He's been in my 1st house forever, and of course in opposition to my 7th and my Venus! Five years ago, I ended a 25 year marriage, and the entire foundation of my life was ripped away from me. I have no family nearby, and my daughter left for college. I had to stand up on my own two feet and I had to do it completely on my own, with no familial support. I was isolated and alone, and really felt like I had been abandoned. That "life" had abandoned me, and it was a struggle. But I do feel like I have become a different person, with a greater sense of self, of my own power over my life. I don't think you realize how strong you are, or how brave you are until everything is ripped away from you, and you have to correct the course of your life.

So where is Pluto transiting in your chart, and do you understand the lesson he's asking you to learn? The changes he's asking you to make?

Awesome thread VIG!

very interesting indeed! and Pluto maybe also brought you the encounter with your Twin wasnt it?

Pluto is hitting my IC back and forth but it will be there for awhile now.

rules my 2nd.

So...although it is hitting my deepest core ( and later will have to do with family/home) i guess that now it will transform the issues of 2nd house:

my personal resources, obliging me to force my determination and stand up for what my talents are....it is making me see what i have to do to increase also my finantial status maybe?

one thing is for sure:i already changed a lot inside,on what it pertains my values, principles,my priorities...in the past i was afraid of showing what i really wanted to do professionaly, but now ive already made up my mind.

ive changed in order to see what is valuable to me and what i have to stand up for,for my own good.

Pluto in IC can mean lots of things ...moving,changes in home and family...etc

Hi venus in gemini,

From my point of view, transiting Pluto is currently at 5 degrees Capricorn in everyone’s’ chart. If you look at it in months, it is sitting around the date of December 27. This is a generational planet, meaning it affects huge groups of people the same way in some areas of their lives. In this case Pluto in Capricorn, means that as a collective, we have the potential to analysis our social problems and possibly bring our lives into a new social order.

When we applied it to our personal lives it means that Pluto has the potential to collapse the order, in our way of life, based on the house it occupies. Capricorn suggests that we have the capacity to build a new, from the disorder caused by Pluto, if any. But this, of course, depends on the aspects made between the transiting Pluto to our natal planets.

Favorable aspects suggest that there is order and structure according to the house occupied. Stressful aspects to Pluto suggest that something may have to be totally torn down and then build something new to a higher standard. If there are no aspects to your planets from the transiting Pluto then things may be thought of as, “being well in hand”.

For my generation, Pluto is opposition Uranus and in the future will square Neptune. I interpret this as a generation that needs to come to grips with technology. The opposition means to me, that compromising is the best and most effective way of advancing. If we accepting the new gadgets as the new norm to life, it means further advancements. If we
stay true to old ways and habits, it means that transiting Pluto may find a way to have us trashed.

The transiting Pluto square Neptune further in my generations future, suggest to me that we are due for an attitude check. It will be a time of self-realization, when we will have to come to terms with ourselves that a new order has taken control and that our usefulness may not matter as much, to society.

Pluto has been transiting my 12th house for ages now. It's been a very painful experience that I don't care to repeat. However, all of the pain has made me even stronger and I'm quite confident now. Maybe Pluto was trying to teach me to trust myself and my intuition.

Hi venus in gemini

I'm glad you found the strength to get through all of that.

Pluto is transiting my 7th. 'Transformational relationships and life changes time', according to iQ.

What kind of life changes other than relationships could one expect from the 7th house?

My transit Pluto currently trines natal Sun, squares natal Mercury and Pluto, sextiles natal Venus and Jupiter, and opposes natal Mars and Saturn.
So it's keeping itself busy.

It's entered my third house, over the past year or two. I can't think any more about this right now (to say more, would just be too much information ). I've been feeling more depressed and more judgemental, over certain things.

Hi VIG,

Pluto is now in my 4th house. It wants me to move away , very far away and let go of my family. But I might need some saturn to come around..

My 4th house. There are a number of issues that have impacted my home life and continue to do so. I'm working towards eliminating these issues as quickly as possible and up-rigting the ship so to speak.

It’s been very tough but I'm plowing forward full steam ahead otherwise, I just feel these issues will disrupt the big picture.

It is getting close to my 9th, but since it's rx-ing, I don't know what that's like yet.

The 8th...it's been there awhile. It really changed money issues for me. I am much more responsible with it and so much more security driven (opp 2nd).

It was intense having it in the relationship houses for the past 20 or so years. My head is still spinning. Not to mention it went over my 5 planet sag stellium. FIVE planets, so I have no idea what the house placement did, since it was conjuncting everything.

Transiting Pluto is sextile my Sun in 5'20 Scorpio,Ixion in 5'25 Scorpio in 2nd and quincunx my retrograde Saturn in Gemini in 9th for a Yod Transit.

Yesterday I just started renting a new office for my Developmental Neurodiversity Association.

Transiting Mars in my 11th is sextiling my retrograde Saturn in 9th,and transiting Pluto in 5th is quincunx the Mars and Saturn. Another Yod.
Transiting Mars is also squaring my Sun-Ixion conjunction.

it's at The Hive, and it's a progressive place. It's especially for people that are outside the box. It's perfect for me and what I want to do! http://www.theurbanhive.com/

I am going to share it with my future DNA secretary.

but yeah...Pluto sextile my Sun is about asking me to be my authentic self and to recognize my own power. I had a consultation with an astrologer who focuses on those themes. Transiting Pluto will be forming a minor grand trine to my Sun-Ixion trine Moon, conjuncting my Sun/Moon midpoint,Moon/Ixion midpoint when I start my Developmental Neurodiversity Association on June 3rd,putting up my DNA website. Transiting Pluto will also form a 12th harmonic isosceles trapezoid, conjuncting my Moon/Quaoar midpoint(Pluto sextile my Moon and Quaoar) and squaring my Moon/Sedna Pluto sextile my Moon trine my Sedna) midpoint simultaneously later in the summer.

During those transits, there will be opportunities of increasing in spiritual growth and awareness as well as growing into my life purpose as neurodiversity advocate and building Developmental Neurodiversity Association.

The DNA website is currently being built right now.

Maybe I will find that special woman ,my soulpartner, future wife, and future mother of my future children during these Pluto transits. One can only hope! I will just keep focusing on my vision board.

Pluto,Ixion,Quaoar, and Sedna are transneptunians. None of them are planets. Pluto is a dwarf planet. The other 3 are dwarf planet candidates.

I had pain in my heart and relations.I felt my self in sterilised world and life...(for 2 months I am very good).
But really what its message in 1 th house..1 house indicates ego, mask, life or what?So what I should get the clues??

Diana, I just got it in my 9th too. When it was leaving my 8th was when I was going through my divorce. Relationships in general for most my life have been totally intense and painful and just generally draining. Since it's gotten to the 9th I feel like I've somehow come out the other side or something. Of course, it's also squaring my natal Pluto right now as well which is not fun lol. I know it's separating now but I can still feel it since Pluto hardly MOVES lol.

5th house. Terrible controlling and deceptive relationship, lost pregnancy. 5th house with pluto is no joke. Anybody have it in the 11th? Curious about the transit through opposite house. Currently conjunct my jupiter and I am in the process of picking away at my entire belief system. I can't emphasize "entire" enough.

pluto is transiting my first house.

when it stationed to go retrograde last spring, it was just a few minutes from exactly conjuncting my ascendent/jupiter (3 cap). at that time, i cut all my hair off, had mad drama with the love of my life/boyfriend , couldn't find a job, was very depressed and it seemed like nothing was going my way. i started reading all of these really dark sci-fi books...oh, i also started wanting to have a baby. no baby though. not right now.

now after it has officially passed my ascendent, made a conjunction with both my neptune (0 cap) and jupiter {3 cap), i feel better. my career is taking off and all the people and resources i need are showing up as if they all have scripts and come in on cue. however, all the boyfriend drama has yet to cease. pluto has now stationed is a few minutes from exactly squaring my moon (5 aries).

it seems like he is so bad for me. but for some reason i can't shake him. we are at the point where we can't even be in the same room for more than 5 minutes without arguing. but for some reason we still spend time together. i just want the drama to go away. i feel like he is so combative. he has a pretty scar combo though...aries sun, sagittarius moon, and leo rising. definitely makes for one self-centered and firey person. i have so much earth in my chart and he just seems to consume me...what to do? i don't know. i assume pluto will take care of that too!

Pluto is trine my Venus and sextile my Ascendant. Will sextile my Jupiter soon. It's transiting my 3rd house.

The 3rd house is a mystery to me. Aside from the 3rd house's communication aspect, I don't get the whole siblings and neighbors plus short trips. I'm not getting more siblings, I'm travelling short distances just as much as when Pluto was in 2nd, and as far as neighbors, I still don't know who they are. So...

The dark planet is in the late part of my 7th house and about to do the limbo under the line into my 8th house where my Mars resides. He is sextiling my delicate Venus in Pisces and in a while he'll be squaring my Aries sun and Libran Uranus and then the fireworks will go off on me - I'm not sure what that looks like.

He's transiting my 12th and probably asking me to commit myself to an asylum.

Okay I joke....sorta. I feel like I've been going nuts ever since he started opposing my early Cancer placements. When he started conjuncting my Saturn/Uranus conjunction in Sagittarius, that wasn't so bad....I just became more rougher around the edges. Squaring my Mars brought me into some shady situations and put my temper on steroids. *edit* No wait, I lied...when he conjuncted my Saturn/Uranus conjunction alot of nasty surprises came out of nowhere. I felt the rug being pulled out from under me many times. I had to move to a different state in the end, but could've been more Transiting saturn on my moon too.

Him Opposing my Chiron and Juno SUCKS. I keep having doors closed in my face and I've never felt so envious of other people in my entire life...particular other women. And its for random stuff too: like why is my sister's life so much better than mine? How come this person is already married, with a degree and a husband? How come my friend always has some guy to fall back upon? I never particularly cared for these type of things before, but now they make me so angry.

I don't want to know what's going to happen when he hits my Neptune-Mercury Opposition.

I am so glad Pluto is done in my 12th house and moving on to my 1st house, I never want to go back to that state I was in.

Now that it's in my 1st house, I feel like I rebithed from the shadows of myself.

Pluto is in my 4th. I had thought it would be in my 5th by now but I was gravely mistaken. Also, it's finally moving of the square it was in with my own natal 1st house Pluto.

Since Pluto has been in my 4th (which seems like FOREVER) I have had to deal a lot of unhappy stuff with my family and a more or less transformation of ow I see my family. I've also been struggling with wanting to have children of my own, but not being in any position to have them, not to mention the fear that I would not be able to protect my child from the negative influence of my dysfunctional family.

Among the realizations that i have had in the past years or so is:

--Life is much better without my father (who died in 2007), because he constantly drain my own individual power with his own negativity.

--In fact he was a psychic/psychological vampire on the entire family, and now we're free of him, I'm the only one who is willing to confront that and move on, meaning my mother and brother are still acting out the same dysfunctional pattern they did when my father was still alive, and this is greatly hindering my own healing and liberation

--That indeed my father held me a captive from pursuing the life I wanted, both emotionally and psychologically, and financially; my father was a fear-ridden man who projected his own fear of failure onto me, and refused to support or actively discouraged me from pursuing my talents and dreams

--my father's negative influence in a particular is why i have not been able to have successful relationships with men, and why I don't have children today, something I've always wanted; my father left me with a deep fear that anyone who shows love to me, like my father did to me as a little girl, will evenuall withdraw that love and perhaps use that to hurt me further, like my father did when I got older

--now my father is gone, I face the monumental task of reclaiming my life, what's left of it

--my mother does not not have very deep love for me as her daughter. Her dysfunctional relationship with my older brother has prevented her from developed a genuine mother-daughter bond with me all my life.

--my brother is likely a sociopath who has spent much of his life emotionally blackmailing me. A very depressing realization for me. I used to idolize my brother when I was little. But the way he was raised, and my parents' dysfunction, has had their profound affect on him. I would very much like to get him out of my life, if only I was financially more independent (but I'm not, thanks tomy father!)

I am very sorry for everybody that is going through a rough time.

Pluto as a "dark planet" has quite a few dark buddies , and they are in our charts transiting in our houses. I don't think Pluto nor its buddies are anything to be afraid of.

They are pretty much giving you what you need and not what you want, giving you deep souls lessons and testing you. If you past the test, you will get significant rewards. It could just the be the spiritual growth, awareness, and understanding that are those rewards.

Like Philip Sedgwick said, they are evolutionary intensified objects. Evolutionary suggests that emotional and spiritual crisis induced by the presence and passage of these bodies intends to enhance the insight, inspiration, creativity and consciousness of a person on Earth and through events on Earth containing these bodies in significant locations.

It's in my 8th, conjunct my Sun, square my Pluto.

i just realized that i never answered the question. i don't really know what pluto is teaching me right now. i'm sure hindsight will be 20/20. the rest of my life is one bit pluto tranit.

since birth has been conjunct with saturn, mars, uranus, neptune, jupiter and my ascendant. next up is venus, mercury and my sun. boy oh boy.

i will say that i feel empowered and more in control of my life. i see every challenge as an opportunity to take back some power that i have delegated elsewhere. i feel more in control of manifesting my destiny. and i feel like success is inevitable in every area of my life. of course, these feelings have come in the last few months since pluto has passed my ascendant. i was hopeless and sad before. having jupiter in an exact conjunction to my ascendant always gives me optimism...things never look THAT bad to me.

Pluto is in my 7th now. 3 years ago it conjuncted my Saturn/Uranus and squared my Venus. That was a doozy of a time.

I wonder if it's more painful when it transits the 7th, or when it transits the 1st, and opposes the 7th?

Any thoughts?
