... is not travelling North or going back South... but running away from that path altogether, and setting up house near the West end.. or accidentally losing your way and ending up somewhere in the far East. Discuss!

No!! LoLSorry... I was intentionally cryptic. I was referring to - straying from the South Node -to-North Node.. pathway... and ending up somewhere else entirely. I've noticed some people avoid their North Node lessons and they don't really relate to their South Node either. It seems to difficult for them so they try to avoid the Nodal path. I am wondering whether this is actually the worst thing to do from a karmic perspective. IP: Logged |

Lol I read the thread and I was like "Her pisces mercury shows" Kinda. I've read that the north node represents the lessons one has to learn in this life time in order for the soul to learn and to evolve, to move forward. So if one denies that path, I'd imagine that the lessons would just play again and again and again, causing misery and frustration. Blessed be the ones who have NN conjunct their personal planets and/or chart ruler, kaka :sparkle: IP: Logged |

The nodes are so cool.. What is everyones nodes doing are you heading in the right path?Though I have noticed the house placement is more significant than the generation sign. Doesn't it take almost a year? I swear every water rooster I know have their nodes close to my descendant and stellium, significant people in my life are born in that year. My father has NN scorpio 4th house. He's a home maker! Mum has NN virgo 4th house conjunct Pluto Extremely fierce career woman (Sn 10th house..) North node in cap 0 degrees exactly on the 8th house cusp. Oh and conjunct Pallas Athene. I think I'm heading in the right direction... Well Cap wise, I seem to be denying my cancerian karma. Idk about the 8th house but I am into metaphysics and the occult.. secretly.. I don't think this thread is about you right? you seem to be stable. Are you talking about people in general.

That's a cool thoughtttttIt would be incredibly hard since if you move the tiniest amount northwest or southeast, it's still moving north/south. It'd need to be perfect equilibrium and how easy can that be? IP: Logged |

since the nodes go straight through the earth, and you can`t follow them directly, you actually HAVE to take the route through the points east and west of them to get to the opposing node (NN). however it is important to remember that this is just a guiding post, you should not settle down there, your goal is still your Northern Star!

Where I'm coming from, a Leo first house SN. So I was someone world famous and vivacious in my past life, with all the sparkle and privileges. Where I'm going to, Aquarius Descendant. A life filled with relationship oriented breakthroughs, uniting humanity, and finally bringing about world peace, as well as improving the conditions of life and treatment of everyone for everyone. It is good to dream, and if you dream, make sure you dream big. ------------------ Learn lots. I think I might be one of these people, hahaDue to my ascendant, most of my houses are flipped, which I sometimes find difficult to reconcile. This is especially true with the nodal axis. I've got my NN in Aquarius in the 5th house, and it's somewhat of a challenge. I am very comfortable with Aquarius energy (I've also got my Mars there), but 5th house issues are very uncomfortable for me. My life hasn't really been such that I can afford much time to "play", I'm not sporty, and I can't stand kids! The only 5th house issue that I feel that I have a reasonable chance of being able to incorporate into my life is the creative aspect...But every time I've tried I've faced exceptionally harsh criticism for being lazy, irresponsible, or selfish. (Not sure if that's due to having Cappy on the 5th or my Sun square Saturn at play there.) In any case, my nodal axis is heavily afflicted, so maybe that makes sense. It's part of a grand cross with my Mercury and Pluto, and I am finding as I get older that it's much easier to deal with aspects regarding those placements than my nodal axis. ------------------ Sun -> Aries Moon -> Sagittarius Ascendant -> Virgo IP: Logged |

Does anyone have their Nodes close to the next house cusp? How does it play out for you?My NN is literally between two houses - 6th and 7th. The way I see it play out for me is... I can't succeed in matters of the 7th house without having dealt with matters of the 6th house. I have a 6th house stellium anyway so I definitely have to deal with my 6th house, but it seems soooo difficult, good Lord, I can't even begin to explain how nerve-wracking it is to engage in 6th house activities. I'm aaaall 12th house at this point... ahem. I feel like I'm nowhere near my NN, and it's frustrating because the people around me all seem to be moving towards - or even living - the path that their NN suggests. *crying face*

I think I'm on the right path. It's not an easy one (SN conjunct Chiron and NN conjunct Saturn) but I'm slowly getting there. I don't believe in karma, I don't mind following it though It resonates with me.Besides, it's not like we should throw away everything related to our SN. There are things worth keeping. It's about balancing them and the things we strive for now. ------------------ I'm sooo happy! I mean, cappy. IP: Logged |

I think the SN is very easy for you and the NN is super hard. I feel that way.I differ with some people in terms of synastry, though. I love a person's planets conjunct my SN and vice versa. It feels sweet and warm. ------------------ Want To Ask Any Question About Bible Prophecy? Go For it. It is Free, of course. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

I feel that way too, at least the house the NN is in is. I do not feel comfy with sixth house at all. I like my NN sign and can connect well to it, like being empathetic and like being inside people's head. I have south node in twelve, maybe that's why?IP: Logged |

That reversion must be confusing...I like both the sign and the house my NN is in. Maybe they're not a very good match but it could've been worse. ------------------ I'm sooo happy! I mean, cappy. IP: Logged |

I'm never sure if mine is in my 1st/7th axis, or 2nd/8th axis. It depends on the house system, so I'm with you there.' I have Mars squariing mine, and Moon/Venus conjunct the South Node. I read a lot about things, and get antsy to put things into motion.. unless it really scares me. Then I can procrastinate like there's all the time in the world, until one day I just *need* to do whatever it is I've been putting off. Jan Spiller said that sadge north nodes need to listen to their intuition - that we literally get marching orders (using Julia Cameron's term). I'm getting back to that.
