What sign is on your 12th house cusp? In which house is the planet ruling that sign?
This will show the sphere in life in which you will have sorrow/things feeling like they are full of pain and not working,

I have Libra on the 12th house cusp and Venus in the 7th.My longest relationship has hurt badly so there you go

OK Your sorrow would be in 8th house matters.
Do you feel you have shut down parts of yourself i.e. repression?
Do you feel like you are not really you, that you are someone who is on the surface while the real you lies beneath the surface.
The 8th house is the house of repression i.e.pushing down your deepest self due to trauma or just delayed development.
The lesson of the 8th house is to "Be oneself" with all the deepest parts integrated.
See my Jung quote. That would sum up the 8th house lessons.
Does this fit?? Please say yea or nay

My 12th house is in Scorpio. Pluto is in the 11th house.

Friends or social groups never brought me sorrow, though...

Hmmm Interesting
What would this mean, then? So,have you been betrayed by friends? The 11th could be hope and dreams,I suppose, too.
What do you think,Aya? How could you relate 11th house areas to sorrow in your life?

It could relate to hopes and dreams, too. I have often been disappointed in that area...

On the other hand, I'm also quite disappointed in, and cynical of, the human population in general. That has caused me quite a bit of sorrow because I always think the best of people and often get betrayed by their often selfish reactions.

Out of my friends in general, none have really ever betrayed me. Some haven't listened to my advice no matter what I said, but then I ended the friendship because I don't want friends who don't at least give my advice a chance, especially when they come back afterwards to apologize for not listening and tell me I was actually right.

It is annoying when that happens, but it doesn't cause me much sorrow. It causes me stress that I can do without, and that's why I tend to end such "friendships".

Everyone feels like relationships bring them sorrow.

I really hope this theory isn't true because Taurus is the cusp of my 12th and Venus is in my 10th. I don't want my entire public persona/career to bring me sorrow lol.

12th house cusp is at the end of scorpio, and pluto is at the beginning of scorpio at the end of the 10th house.

I have sorrow at work? (Being unemployed since september has caused me a great deal of sorrow, i can tell you that much.)

Ok Aya your sorrow about humanity could be reflected here.It does seem like you have sorrow with friends ,too,as you talk about dissapointment and then ending the friendship.
Am I right?

What is on your 7th house cusp? Which house is that house ruler in?

OK Amwols
Your sorrow would be in career/upward mobility in society.
You may be thwarted in these areas. As you try to climb higher is social /career status you may be stymied.
Do you feel this at all, now?
Everyone ,keep in mind we all have a 12th house cusp and a planet somewhere

OK Yes home life will bring you sorrow.Perhaps,it will be your father who is represented by the 4th house.
Perhaps, it will be home issues ,in general, such as not having your own home or struggling to keep a home.
Can you relate to any of this?

Cancer rules my 12th, capricorn moon in the 6th. I have a lot of deeply internalized rules for my own and others behavior. I noted in another thread that I have always been told I have a great deal of integrity but this integrity is very rigid and can be isolating.

edit: I also have a very rigid diet. Anything that influences the physical body can become emotional and vice-versa. Psychosomatic illness and what not, I'm very sensitive to my environment. Emotions that are unconscious can wreak havoc and easily disrupt the most basic elements of my life.

Actually Bee my book says this is one of the better placements.
You will bring your depth and spirituality to the workplace.
You will bring lots of hidden things out in a way that you can bring them out in the open in a positive way.
Way to go
