I ended another friendship today based off the person being dishonest because she was a people pleaser. I cannot stand it when people lie and thus betray my trust in them and turn up false, an image of what I thought they were.

I have an extreme lack of understanding for people who have such issues with lying.
It seems extremely strange to me - and I have prominent Pisces... So, I'm guessing the opposite sign - Virgo.. could have such problems with lying.

If someone I don't know that well asks me something about my private life or anything that I deem is private I will lie without feeling bad about it.Because I'm protecting my privacy. If I've asked someone something that they deem is not an info they should partake with me,I instinctly understand it and view the lie for what it is. I don't hate the person for not wanting to share something with me,it would be highly ridiculous on my part.The above applies for people ( colleagues/acquaintances/friends) I interact on a daily or less basis.

When someone wants to be closer to me and I feel they are lying. I don't hate them,neither do I hate their propensity to lie unless they give me reason to believe they are pathological liars. But I would definitely let them know they need to back off.

It's not that I can't tolerate little lies sometimes. I understand that individuals feel the need to lie about dumb stuff sometimes in order to protect themselves [i.e., denying you like Twilight since a lot of people hate it and make fun of it] but trivial stuff like that isn't a huge bother to me. I can accept little lies.

It's just shadiness - hiding true intent about plans, lying about where you are going, lying about feelings, etc. that infuriates me. I'm guessing now it is from the Scorp, Virgo and Saturn mix.

Lying simply just to lie about anything and everything bugs the hell out of me. Mostly I get upset with it when telling the truth would simply have created less complication and problems for everyone involved. I don't respect people who feel the need to lie to cover up infidelity either. If you're not happy in a relationship, take responsibility for your actions and own up and stop wasting everyone's time.

The thing is, I realize this is tendency about myself, so I tend to hang out with people who are more up front about themselves. Saves me a lot of grief in the long run since I just don't have the time or energy to weed out the B.S. from the truth.

That could be a number of aspects for me. I have strong Saturn, Pluto, and Chiron aspects. I also am a Virgo. Meh. Think what you want. Being upfront and honest with people always is a lot easier in the long run for me.

I'm EXACTLY like this too, I hate how the person who made me so angry said she was just trying to make everyone happy so she couldn't tell the truth, when telling me the truth would have made me 100x less disappointed in her and less angry. She shot herself in the foot. I just can't stand either when people lie about things that should just be out in the open. Also, I feel the same way about infidelity.

He used to always get caught telling stupid lies and I felt like if he would lie about things that are so petty, then he must be lying about bigger issues. Turns out, he was cheating (I had to hack into his e-mail account to find that out).

I was livid. I mean, why cheat? Why not just leave? I don't get it...

No trust = no respect. No respect = no love or friendship.

Someone else said that all people lie and you'll end up alienated. I have cut MANY people from my life and that's ok. I'd rather two or three people I trust with my life than a bunch of people who are unworthy of my time.

I may end up alone in the end and that's really ok. I despise lying THAT MUCH.

And if I ever lie I confess to someone about it right away. I've lied like 3 times this year I can think of and nothing serious. (And not to anyone I'm very close with)

Trust is so important to me. I'm triple fixed. Leo sun/Taurus/moon Scorpio rising. My bf is Taurus/Taurus/Scorpio and feels the same way I do. Chart ruler in scorpio too. We both have Gemini Venus in the Taurus duad
