I come from a family who hates doctors but we are all pretty healthy. My mother had a heart attack last saturday. She is still in CICU but getting better slowly every day.I told her the first day that whatever she needed to do was ok. I have read that wishing someone to live when they want to go can hinder their spiritual path. She told me she wants to get better then she's been sedated since so I have not talked to her. Its been sev. days and my instinct is that she will pull thru. It doing a real mental number on my head.IP: Logged |

Much Love and Light to You and Your Mom!!! My mom had a heart attack 3 years ago and is doing really well now, she said it was from all the stress that she let my grandma put on her. Sorry to hear this and I hope you see her up and around doing fine soon.

Thank you so much everyone. I feel confident that she will make it. She is making slow progress. Her heart now is functioning well. They can't get her off the ventilator yet and therefore she is sedated ( 5days now). I would just like to see her conscience, that would make me feel a bit better. IP: Logged |

This is getting crazy. They cannot get her off the ventilator ( They reduced it by 50%only). And... because she gets so anxious and agitated due to the tubes in her throat, they have her sedated. Its been 11 days that I have not made any contact with her. Very frustrating, stressful and im so not in control of the situation I cannot stand it.IP: Logged |

thirteen - I'm sorry to hear that this is difficult for you. You're strong for reaching out & trying to cope.Do you have anyone near for support? By contact - do you mean you cannot see her, or is she not able to talk to you? You know - if you can see her, talking to her helps, since apparently people can hear you most of the time. Also, making things for her to see when she wakes will be a wonderful gesture - it will keep your mind on something else too. thirteen- I'm sorry I didn't see this earlier. I'm sending you all the good wishes and positive energy here with me to you. I hope you can get to go to your mom's bedside and talk to her, whether she's awake or not- she'll hear you. And she'll get stronger because of this. Hold her hand if you can. Touch is powerful.Hopefully your mom will get better soon. When she has recovered, it would be better for her to cut down or eliminate red meat, saturated fat and cholesterol. Eating organic, unrefined, unprocessed foods and mild exercise help. IP: Logged |

Quick update, my mother is recovering but very slowly. She is awake now but cannot speak yet or get up from bed. They say its a slow process. I have been sitting by her side and using my hands as a vehicle for healing energy. I do a meditation that the energy comes thru me from the universe, not from me directly. It seems to be helping. It was the day after my first attempt that she opened her eyes and acknowledged me. I thank everyone for the positive thoughts. She has many changes to make in her diet and smoking habits if she wants to live her life in better health. I have always been health conscience but this has really made me open my eyes and take note. It's funny, my mother always says that if you have your health, you have everything. Its as if she had an underlying knowing that health was going to be a major issue at some point for her.
P.S. yes i know Utica High, Im a Fitzgerald person, but that was a long time ago. Ha haIP: Logged |

Wow, i think i have good energy. Yesterday my mother was extremely lethargic. I realized i hadn't done the healing energy thing for a while so i did it again. I left her sleepy and groggy. I cant go today so I just called the nurse.I guess she is real good today. Sitting up and all. Smiling and she can move her arms and legs a bit more than yesterday. Thanks again to everyone who sends light. I hope to return the favor one day, but i am sending all my cyber friends some good energy right back right now.IP: Logged |

thirteen, sorry I'm just now seeing this thread. Lots of Love & Light for your Mom.
Glad she seems to be improving more everyday.
When my neice was born with cancer I used to visualize healing white light molecules flowing from the Stars above into her,or through me as the vessle...either through my mind or if near her, through my hands. Sounds similiar to your technique.
