A millionaire? How many millions? Suddenly my entire family and I will live rurally and communally off the grid with giant veggie patches and fruit trees, I would start a health/ superfiod business and include energy/radionics technology, I would donate a lot to worthy causes, I will support clean energy. I may become a mad scientist spending a lot on inventions. I would start a retreat for healing and cleansing, bit more exciting than a B&B. ------------------ “It’s an interesting thing. Seeing Kuan Yin relating to a flower so intently. She's not just looking at it; she's interacting with it…I’m seeing how the act of relating to a flower appears to be so simple. Yet, it takes a tremendous amount of courage to make such a “simple” act important. Now, the lotus is floating away.” IP: Logged |

I would start an ashram for people going through spiritual emergencies or trying times. I'd devote all of my time to traveling and learning as much as I can for a while. Then I'd want to do some humanitarian work looking for ways to expand the consciousness of humanity. Something along those lines..That is what would give me the most fulfillment. IP: Logged |

I run the lottery pool at my work. If I become a millionaire, then that means they all did, too. Still, I'd try to keep it quiet. I'd have to arrange for a trust to be made to dole out our winnings, so there are some administrative and time costs to me if we win.I've long wanted to have a non-profit to help people with adoption, but that wouldn't be first on my list at this point. I'd probably first relocate to my own place, which would likely be proximate to the school I'd plan on attending. I'm not sure if I'd go to a trade school, or a proper college. I might be bold enough to try both concurrently. Study something art-related at the trade school, and start the process towards some kind of engineering degree at the other. I'd love to be an artist, a mechanical engineer or an architect. In the meantime, I might outfit myself with a workshop. A work/live space would be cool. I could do art, make music, and build furniture from scratch. That would be awesome. IP: Logged |

Arnold Fructenbaum accepted Jesus as a teen and was rejected by his Jewish family. They had a funeral for him cuz they considered him dead cuz it was such a disgrace ,to them. His father never spoke to him until the father was on his deathbed. He had no money to go to college. He enrolled in a University by faith that it would work out. He told NO ONE he had a need for money but ,somehow, his tuition was paid for ALL 4 years. He,still, does not know who paid it. I met him at a conference. He is an incredible teacher. I would like the money to give to someone like this, after my needs were met. ------------------ Jesus never put his trust in man cuz he knew what was in man. lol...I dont know!I might collapse! But on regaining my senses I would probably invest a bit in shares, duck some of it into banks and would make some wise decisions to recycle it in such a way as to serve multitudes of others even long after im gone.

I suppose I would get 1 million in one time, like at the lottery, so in this case,I would divide it in 4 and give 1/4 to each of my 2 sisters and my close cousin. with what's left, so 250 000, I would buy an old house to rebuild, for 100 000, I would keep working, and I would use the 150 000 left to buy a flat or house that I would rent (small rent). the rent money would go to charity or to people that I want to help, basically, I would finance some projects of people close to me. not as loans. It wouldn't be a lot in one time, but a litle on a regular basis. with my wages, cause I'd keep working, I would buy the tools anf furnitures necessary to restore the house. once the house is "rebuilt" and ready to be sold, I would sell it for the price I bought it plus the money I used to "rebuilt" it. no gain on it. then I would once again buy a new house to restaure with that money. I would keep working so I'd do that during the weekend. with the money from my work, I would live, of course, not sure I would have the time to take some holidays though. the dream of owning my own house in the countryside will come true. in my wildest dreams, I own several that I have restored IP: Logged |

You know what is really interesting?People's dreams are SO different. We all have such different desires for what we would do if we had no constraints. ------------------ Jesus never put his trust in man cuz he knew what was in man. It's strange, Every now and then we go through life thinking 'if I had the money, I would do such and such', which is usually based around material desires, but if I actually came into that much money, I really would not know how to react... I suppose one of the first things would be a seriously good, therapeutic massage to ease out all my kinks and cracks IP: Logged |

Yes, first thing would to be put it in safe keeping. I'd probably divide it up and deposit it into several banks including out of the country. Get dental implants for myself. After that, pay all my debts. Then ponder carefully what to do. For the moment will start with LL. I would pay the site fees. Pay for new teeth/dental for a few folks I know need such. Other possibilities, contingent on is it a million or multi millions: Move out of America. Have ex quit his job and help me finish writing books we have a hard time finishing because of his full time job and seizures. Learn Acupuncture. Start a deathwatch place where folks can have a peaceful transition in gardens, forests, and lovely outdoor environments, not horrid hospices and such. Support alternative/free energy. I have no desire to live in a mansion or a big showy house, nor do I want to have fancy cars, clothes and other unneeded trappings of the wealthy. I just want to know I can easily pay my basic living expenses and have a handicap accessible home because I am disabled. I would like to be able to have fresh vegetables and fruit every day. Help folks by giving them that lift they need to climb out of poverty. I will think on what else.

I'd get my mom and me set in a little comfy house in the country, start a homeless shelter, pay off all my debt which is quite a bit thanks to 12 ER visits last year lol. Get a car and pay my moms off. Then with the rest I'd probably help friends and family out, donate to LL, give some to a few select people here, then split it up to help out the homeless, people that needed it, get some orphaned kids on some awesome field trips. Man, I'd just be in heaven. If I could just get enough to start a homeless shelter now that would be fantastic. IP: Logged |

*bump*------------------ "All deaths are suicides, do you realize that? Every single one. The only distinction is that, with some people, suicide is a subconscious choice, and with others it's a conscious choice. Otherwise, those who commit suicide and those who succumb to accident, illness or "old age," die for exactly the same reason: belief in the inevitability of death." Linda Goodman IP: Logged |
