Hi there lazyspark. I had a friend say to me one time that people that are extremely sensitive live sooo close to LIFE. Those that are heavily influenced by water are more in touch with the senses. water as it applies to the tears -e-motion - water-the constant flow...

When I say ethers, I simply mean being able to float up to that 5th element, ether, so much easier. It seems like a large bitter sweet burden sometimes to have water influencing you... I can only imagine what it must be like to have almost every sign in water. Unstable, the flow was probably almost uncontrollable at times. When I found that out about him a spark just kind of flew off and around in my mind...

What do you think about all that??

Sorry if I'm butting in here, but I think that's pretty telling about Kurt. I hadn't known that, but it kind of makes sense. I mean I bet that feels like being tossed around in the ocean almost. He seemed to have felt things VERY deeply, but didn't want to be vulnerable about his feelings (unless through song?). I wonder what all of the aspects were in his chart. Maybe he had some kind of hard aspect to the moon and felt he shouldn't express all those emotions, and he couldn't take bottling them up? I don't know. Sorry if I've gotten it all wrong about him.

Sometimes I feel like I'm floating up there close to the ethers myself. As I stated before I am quite the novice.. I think it has something to do with my chart. I've put it recently into words "I'm like a Seeing Mr.Magoo!" referring to the crazy absent-minded nearly blind cartoon character that walks about.

I'm about to post it after this to see if anyone can give me a go on their personal interpretations of any parts. I'm the only one I know who can try to read about it but, well, to save myself from typing it all twice I'll post it next.

Aww when I was younger I used to ::ehem:: crush after him but uhh didn't know why I felt something else there besides a silly crush. I'm not usually interested in people who are the immediately-gorgeous type.. They may be moderately attractive and once you get to know them they are the most immensely beautiful person in the universe! Well.. needless to say I always wished I could have met him. Yes, Courtney is awesome, I am a big fan of hers too. (some people aren't)

Well...I don't know a whole lot about him as some people do. It just seemed to me that he had a unique style of expressing his emotions through his music. He didn't come right out and say things I guess. I think you could tell that he was in pain, but to me it was sort of hard to really understand what his pain was about. Was it about the world in general? I don't know, just my impression. Looking back you can kind of say "Oh", but at the time, it seemed like the other grunge, sad, depressing music (I used to cry every time I heard "Run Away Train" by Soul Asylum). To me he seemed blocked in some way from fully expressing everything that was going on inside? I could just not be seeing things clearly. I don't know. I do think all those water signs is a factor though.
And to Lazyspark, I get a kick out of Courtney. I think she's got brass balls .
P.S. Just had a thought. Maybe with Courtney's Cancer sun & moon she was sort of a role model or something for Kurt, in that with all of those planets in Pisces, he had no shell, and she taught him how to have one kind of???

Just with looking at venus and mercury in pisces, mars in scorpio, and jupiter in cancer, I can understand a lot about his persona.
I dont know but maybe his expression was cloudy as to keep it non-personal. Not only for himself, but to leave the creation much more personal for the fan. Lending itself to being a bit more interpretational. I always felt that was one of the best form of expression. It makes it timeless.
He was extremely beautiful with a very large magnetism. What was it about him? He seemed like an angel...

Courtney is a talented musician, pretty good little actress and she is pretty cute too... .

I have a question/survey for all the Pisces Ascendants on the board. I have this book called "The Rising Sign: Your Astrological Mask" and it says that Pisces Ascendants have a special ability to get what they want from the universe. Here's what the book says:
"But Neptune is the planet that describes the ability to create the circumstances around us. It is like planting a seed in a flower pot. If one plants a zinnia seed, a zinnia grows, if cared for properly, or if an orchid is planted that is the plant that emerges from the soil. Metaphysically speaking, whatever one can conceive is what emerges and is manifest in the outer circumstances. If conditions are not ideal, the fault lies in the seeds that are planted on a daily basis.
Janene Schneider describes this process as sending out "purchase orders" to the universe. If five "desks and chairs" are ordered, that is what is received, yet if imperfect orders are released, imperfect "merchandise" is returned. Neptune in good aspect to other planets, describes a fantastic ability to order a good life through being idealistic and expectant. The refusal to see ugliness seems to prevent its existence in the life of one with this ascendant. The effectiveness of this talent is indicated by the aspects to the planet Neptune. The visionary quality is connected with a desire to save the world and to lift circumstances to the ideal level. The problems that occur stem from an unwillingness to be realistic, however, or a tendency to overglamorize people and events.
Learning to utuilize this ability in a practical manner can be like taking pictures of a beautiful sunset. Unless the camera is focused properly, the sunset comes out a blur. Since the person with Pisces rising is constantly "taking pictures" of events around him, he can manufacture fantastic results by simply combining intellect and practical application with the visionary trait. As long as he believes in his dreams while maintaining awareness of their realistic direction, he finds ideal circumstances."

I just want to know if the Pisces Ascendants here have noticed this to be true?

double A,
I can assure you that this works for me...to read all that you posted above only gave me the answer I have been looking for so long. Because I have noticed that whatever I wish and want( I have to want it very hard thou) - it comes true, soon or later..
I just have to order it - and it will be delivered to me...sometimes I even say to myself to be careful of what I wish because if it is not good for me - it will come anyway and may regret later..
well, that`s about it..how lucky to be Pisces Rising, heh ?

ah, and by the way - besides from been a Pisces Rising, I also have a heavy aspected Neptune in my chart

hi allone, i am a scorpio moon

hi bissie, sorry to disappoint you, but i don't have info on aquarius...hehe trust me to only save what's relevant for me...i'll do a search and see what comes up

hi double A, yeah i have noticed that my wishes seem to manifest more quicker if it is done in a naive mood, the trick to really making the dream become a reality is by visualizing what you desire clearly and in detail with a receptive mind, it works even better if you can mentally feel what you want, after that is done just forget about it and trust that your dream will find its way to you; of course it will only work if there is faith and the knowing that you will get it...but then again having a pisces friend wishing with you gives the process a bigger boost.....hehe it works pretty well for me...it's how i found my ideal mate

Absolutely Double A
I have that book too. It describes Pisces rising rather well.

I always have an innate knowing that what I want, I will get it. I always wondered if I was not looking at it backwards though. For instance, I am very able to adapt to what comes about. I imagine what I want to be, and always it materializes, but often in a way that is a bit different than what I expected. Usually better.

I rarely worry about this kind of thing. I just kind of imagine it and let it go, wait, and listen. I let my higher self sort of make the decisions. It is going to be that way anyway, so I feel I might as well save myself the pain.

Have you seen another book called Rising Signs, by Sasha Fenton? She says some unsettling things about Pisces Rising. I thought she was way off on a lot of stuff. Just wondering if anyone has seen this book...

Hello every one:
That must be true, I honestly have never seen an ugly person, I have seen a few ugly hearts, but when you look into them they have a reason, that, it is there. Pisces rising, Im glad I have it. The "Rising Sign" gonna have to check it out. To focus, properly, it is a task for the Sag/sun, what is proper? To Thine own self be true, so much water in me, Pisces ascendant, Moon in Cancer, Venus in Scorpio, I do like me, though, and I understand my nature very well, I think, or is it a Pisces illusion? I don't mind. it works well for me. Good morning and Good night to all. Peace to your Soul Love to your Heart. Montana Rain

Oh trust me, I am one myself! Yes, it's hard and has its positives.. Like everything in life :)

I think the interpretive element (no pun intended) lies in Mercury in Pisces which is said to leave room for highly artistic writing/creative skills on the other side since it's the worst illogical position to have. It's fun.. You know it. My Sun/Moon/Merc is in Pisces.

Hello Knowflakes,

I am a Pisces rising, Leo sun sign and Aquarius moon. I have to say that I feel you, Montana Rain. I am sooo sensitive that I get moods swings all the time, and I am easily influenced. I really don't like it that I can get in a blue mood easily and wish that I can just be happy most of the time. I used to be very idealistic and ever since that belief has been shattered, I have been very down.

I used to believe what Double Aquarius posted about visualizing and wishing for what you want and getting it in return from the universe, is how it would work for people. I really wish it worked that way for me, but since I have been going through tough times, I don't know if I believe in that anymore. Most of the time I feel melancholy though I don't know if it's a Pisces thing. I want to gain my faith back somehow and my idealism, b/c I do believe good thoughts begets good things for oneself.

But I really do like this site, b/c there are so many loving and wise people around. Hopefully in reading all of your experiences, I can turn myself around again and manage my pisce rising.

Hello everyone

I am Gemini Sun, Scorpio Moon, and Pisces Rising. While a lot of my posting has been under the Lunar Scorpio thread, I wanted to contribute here too because my Ascendant is definitely an important part of my total makeup:

I am SO sensitive, I feel like a sponge sometimes, absorbing whatever energies are going on around me from other people. I am deeply spiritual, and have gone the gamut of various studies; finally reaching the belief (for me, anyway) that the road to enlightenment begins within. I am also a champion of the underdog, and can't stand for any creature to be hurt; human, animal, or otherwise. People come to me when they are upset and I try to help them any way I can. The downside of this is the fact that I've had to begin learning to take care of me, put me first. It's amazing to me that I've found it so easy to boost others' morale and cheer them on, yet when it comes to me, my self-confidence is not strong. When I DO have to "say no" I get very negative reactions, which causes me some guilt, and that doesn't help! In my case, I feel that others' first impression of me is very much the sweet/easy-going Pisces Ascendant; but over time when I feel taken advantage of or taken for granted, my Scorpio Moon kicks in and then I'm NOT so easy-going, which surprises some people I deal with. Has anyone else noticed this? Basically, people seeing up front the Pisces nature, only to be surprised later when another part (esp. Sun or Moon) comes through? Just wondering. Thanks for listening.

I have ascendant, moon, and Julpiter in Pices..obviously..all in the 1st house.

I am a mess LOL!!!

My friends laugh at me all the time because my conversations jump all around..I will jump from one topic to another and come off the wall with things...makes them laugh.

alcohol affects me intensely...I get so goofy funny...and take my clothes off! HA

I am very sensitive, intuitive, artistic and somewhat psychic. I pick up on the emotions of others with light speed and I find myself being like a chameleon in social situations, I tend to imitate those around me but not to mock.

I daydream a lot and I feel the "yin and yang" of the fish.

My sun is in Leo.

I just read on astrology-numerology.com that Pisces is the most psychic of Moons. I have had dreams come true, but that's coincidental or maybe a self-fulfilling prophecy. Otherwise I think I have always been able to "read" people.

I thought I inherited from my father (Cancer) who used his ability to "read" in sales to climb the corporate ladder.

When I get a sense from a particular person I usually mention it to someone, but they always become cynical, or cut me down... making some hasty remark that will immediately conflict with what I said or make me out to look like I'm manipulating something.

Anyone else had that experience?

I think I'm at the point where I'm going to start to seriously try to follow those feelings, intuitions, and vibrations that radiate off people. I just wish there was someone I knew who could relate or at least let me go with it, maybe even help me develop it

Who has stronger intuition Scorpio or Pisces?

LL,

I think they're just different types of intuition, and it also depends which planets are in which sign.

Other signs (by that I don't mean Sun signs only, but planets in these signs, most significantly personal planets or Moon or Asc.) also have strong intuitions, mostly: Aries - something like lightning, once in a while, clear and present (danger, hehe), Cancer - when it comes to security, its own or the ones he loves, and I definitely have to mention Aquarius here. And then there are Scorpio and Pisces, of course.

Pisces' intuition is more universal, dreamy, transcendental, while Scorpios' is deep, sharp and to the point.
