I am interested to hear from people that have pisces rising. From what I have been told, pisces has such a short acsension that there are very few of us around.

So anyway, for me, finding out about my rising sign being pisces has, in many ways, changed my perspective.

When I first began to really understand astrology and found out that I am pisces rising, everything started to make more sense to me. My Sun is in capricorn, which gives me that strongness, and my Moon is in Virgo, which makes me somewhat anal about certain things, but with pisces rising, those things are very contradictory. At times I feel like I am being pulled in several directions at once. And the main thing, my sensitivity is very strong. I only have two other water signs in my whole chart, yet I feel as if water is very dominating. Another obvious thing that is does is cause me to really be in tune to what other people are doing or thinking, sometimes to the point that I do not even consider myself

I would love to hear about any others that have anything to say about your pisces rising influence, etc.

hey , another Pisces Rising here..I didn`t know we were rareties..heheh

I am a Virgo Sun and Gemini Moon...don`t have water in my chart so my ASC have all the fun. Neptune, the ruler of Pisces, is very prominent in my chart - it squares the ASC itself, squares my Sun, my Mars and opposit Saturn, according to the astro cookbooks I should have been gone mad by now, but nope - nothing like that..but I am prone to daydreaming, that is for sure..when I drive my car - sometimes I catch myself driving with my senses only - all my mind is buried in thoughts..
I am also very intiutive, i didn`t know about that in the begining as I thought all people are that way..until later

so, what degree is your Pisces ASc ?
mine is at 1' 06 Pisces....do you know that Uranus moves in Pisces on March next year - conjuncting our Asc`s and moving into our firts houses - funny times ahead for sure!!!!

hey bissie...
I am not very sure what degree my asc is. Can you explain this to me? I do have a chart here that contains some numbers that appear to very possibly be the degrees. It says
3 pisces 26. Maybe you could help me out on that one.

What does the transit mean for us exactly? I am very curious about that.

Thanks!

I truly am a novice...BUT I used to be an ignoramous, so I guess there's worse. Hahaha.
The signifigance of the degrees is definetely something I could use a lesson on.
So glad to have "found" this opportunity.

Here are my degrees:

Sun 8 deg. 51 min. of Cap
Asc 3 deg. 26 min of Pis
Moon 5 deg. 34 min. of Vir
Mercury 21 deg. 16 min. of Sag
Venus 3 deg. 27 min. of Cap
Mars 9 deg. 23 min. of Leo
Jupiter 0 deg. 03 min. of Can
Saturn 0 deg. 13 min. of Vir
Uranus 15 deg. 15 min. of Sco
Neptune 16 deg. 42 min. of Sag
Pluto 16 deg. 35 min. of Lib

Just like a pisces rising person, willing to help out. Your so nice.

Hi crystelle and Bissie,

I love my Pisces rising. It along with Neptune being the most elevated planet in my chart involved in two tight Grand Trines, gives me strong intuition that I have learned to trust. I also have a Virgo Moon, so I understand exactly what you're saying! I've learned to blend them together and use my Moon to ground me and keep me organized, while using my ASC for intuition. I like how it softens all my Aquarius. I'm really tender and soft, and when I sling lightning bolts in person, they aren't as harsh because of my Pisces gentle appearance and soft, Pisces voice. I gotta admit I like the Pisces curves too! No matter how much I gain or lose, I'm always hourglass.

yes, the blending is huge. For me, my capricorn traits really only show when I am with people that know me well. Hence, I am comfortable. I can be kind of a bit stubborn and dictator like, but I am also very laid back and go with the flow. Like I said, it seems to come out when I am paired up with people that I am close to, because for one thing, my "true colors" are more free to come out, but so are my loved ones (meaning that they can say things or do things that an aquantance would not do- causing a different type of re- action) . I think this is pretty normal regardless of your sign.

But anyhoo, the face that I present to the world is more pisces than capricorn, and when I learned of it, I was bordering upset and ready to abandon the capricorn sun! ha ha. But overall, now that I have come down from that, I think that they balance each other out and while pisces softens my cap, my cap strengthens my pisces, so I dont take any crap!

I am a rather small person. I have always been told that I am so little. But I know that I am not as small as I look. It is funny how all my life I have been told that I am so petite, but I think I hide a lot. I am only 24 though, so I have yet a lot to go. My body is not all that curvy, but it is soft and while I do have muscle, it is not well defined in most areas and I have to work harder than most for it.

What about feet. Do you all have anything specific to mention about your feet? The only thing I can find is that my feet are rather small (36)... and I mostly like the way they look. They definetely dont embarress me like some people are embarrased by their feet.

As for Virgo moon. I have not come to complete terms with that either. Like I said, Im a novice. Only been studying about this since January or so... and there is so much. Most of it sort of sneaks in through the back door (subconscious) while Im not looking... so I cant ruch it. But I do know that I am pretty typical virgo moon. I am highly highly analytical and I dont miss a detail when it comes to remembering a story or how an event happened. I remember things very well. Like when someone was wearing on Sunday of last week... Virgo moon is kind of tiresome!

Im beginning to sort of ramble on...

Pisces rising really forces me to truly appreciate things.

thnx -crystelle

Yep, I'm a double aquarius (I have a song, ha ha ). Sun and Moon. People always think I'm "unique" too but I think I'm just on a different wave length . I'm glad you liked the ascendant link. My mom has a Capricorn ascendant in the Virgo decan, and it was amazing how accurate it was.

I have pisces rising...
It is an interesting thing. Mine is right up next to my Scorpio Sun It is a pleasant balance to then have moon in aries.
I am extremely intuitive, and sesitive at times. I am overall very happy and am good at not letting myself get depressed, as pisces rising can be prone to do. (like my double pisces friend)

Crystelle,
yes, dear, your Rising is 3'26 Pisces
which means that Uranus will approach your Asc around June next year and then it will go retrograde and move away...just to be back again at the end of the next year ..and then the real party starts
I am really short of time at that moment, but I promise to send you more info on tranziting Uranus on Asc in a short while

Uranus is about change, unexpected, seemingly without pattern. The desire to break patterns of responsibility. Not necessarily to be free of the responsibility but rather just to be free. The wild card, electric, weird, fast, non-emotional, life-in-the-fast-lane. The energy of this planet is chaos. This may be welcomed, or may be feared. Spontaneous change by way of a general non-emotional reaction, because the individual does not have the luxury of time between events to brood or ponder. A ship in a storm does not have time to meditate on the problem.
The energy of Uranus seems to radiate out of a person when it is strongly transiting a chart. Light bulbs can pop, electrical failures and computer hiccups seem to trail behind us like unwanted guests

Uranus Transits Through Your First House:
“Wow! That’s amazing! And it’s so obvious! Why didn’t I see that before?” These are things you can expect to say when Uranus transits through your 1st House. Uranus is the “awakener”. Uranus hitting this house can make you suddenly want more freedom, want to do new things that you have never done before. Fine. Just don’t make any important decisions on the spur of the moment. Uranus has a tendency to make us rush, and that is what can cause trouble. Take a little extra time to plan. Please take this in context. If this is hitting your five year old child, expect them to get into more mischief than usual. If you happen to be 90 or above, well there may be some limits on what you can do. But don’t be surprised if you suddenly want to go skydiving. If you are the type that doesn’t like changes, if you want to keep everything just the way it’s always been, watch out! The Uranus energy won’t be denied. It has to come out somehow. When it gets bottled up, its favorite trick is to cause accidents and other sudden upsets. Best advise for Uranus transiting your 1st House: Now is most likely a good time to make major changes. But be extra sure to plan first and don’t rush.

cheers from Bissie

Hello to everyone:
Yep, I have a Pisces acendent also, Sun in Sagittarius, Moon in Cancer, Venus in Scorpio, Mars in Libra, lots of water, it is nerve wracking at times, you are so intuned to other people, it is hard not to be, I can feel it when I walk in a room, Im sure you can too. For me it was learning not to be afronted with all these strange feelings, they really were other peoples, I just absorbed them as mine. Just look with the other eye and you can see what needs to be done. Some times, it feels like what am I? Where am I? Where am I going? Help, Help, Help, and I call out to the Universe, and came to Linda Land. The start of an old story reborn, is how it feels just meeting all of you. Thank you for finding me!!!Peace to your Soul Love to your Heart, Montana Rain

hi everyone, i was just reading through all these interesting posts, and yep i also have a pisces rising at 28 degrees, i think the pisces is like a blessing in disguise for me, it tones down my scorpio and gives me a girly appearance that covers up the tomboyishness in me...hehe.. i find it funny when people think i am very passive and then discover that i actually have a backbone....like the proverbial iron hand in a silk glove...not sure if i said that right though ....i am also tall and atheletic, but still look feminine...

anyway that's an intereting bunch of pisces messages you have here

i have some Pisces info here...i hope you don't mind this long post on your string

i do not remember where i got this, otherwise i would just post the link

quote:

Pisces

Sensitive, imaginative, intuitive - but indecisive, changeable and unrealistic too and that's what Pisces is and more. There are two planets specifically associated with the sign, Jupiter and Neptune. Both of these planets lend their energies to expanding the imagination and letting your feelings run free. Pisces is the sign of the psychic, the healer, the intuitive who is in tune with the synchronicities of the universe. Pisces nature is emotional, sensitive and subjective. Your imagination and intelligence are subtly insightful. The Pisces soul is one of mystery and longing. As mentioned, Pisces is a sign that deeply reflects its ruler, Neptune, the planet of fantasy and illusion, romanticism and phantasmagoria, compassion, sympathy and the supernatural.

The Pisces mind is like no other. Like a vast, swirling ocean, the Piscean inner world is a rich tapestry of impressions and sensations, some brilliantly intuitive, others fleeting flights of fancy. Yet all are unique in some way. To walk down the street with a Pisces friend is like entering a magic realm. What the Pisces mind does not see, it will invent. Rush-hour traffic turns into a floating opera, the entrance to a bank becomes the portal of an enchanted castle etc. Therefore, the Piscean mentality does well in the arts where you can create. You have the ability to see both what is there and what is not there.

The genius inherent in the Pisces experience is the understanding that one does not have to be anything, yet can be everything. This is because you have a wondrous sense of possibility in the midst of a sea of limitation. Pisces is a mysterious, fluid, changeable sign that is never completely at home on the earth, always quietly yearning for an experience of exaltation or spiritual completion. It is this search for something more, for infinite possibility, that comes to define the Piscean individuality.

Pisceans are sensitive to absolutely anything - the slightest hint of emotion in a snatch of conversation, the colour of your surroundings, the feeling of your clothes. To be as sensitive as this obviously makes you emotionally vulnerable. The other two water signs, Cancer and Scorpio have developed hard outer shells so that they hide their feelings, just like animals of their signs; but what do Piscean fish do? Swim away of course. Your defence against things which make you uncomfortable is simply to run away - to escape. Escapism is a profound need in the Piscean personality. The great thing about a Piscean , which none of the down-to-earth or practical signs ever understand, is that things are only real to you if you believe them to be so - when reality is painful, you can replace it with an imaginative fantasy and believe in that until things get better. Only Pisces has this internal escape route.

Your two biggest talents are sympathy and imagination. When someone is suffering or in pain, you can feel it strongly because you are so sensitive. Your response is immediate sympathy. This is why many Pisceans work in medicine, pharmacy and nursing. Your imagination shows itself in just about every field of artistic activity. You have a way with words and images and associations. The most glamorous Piscean occupations are in the world of theatre or in the media. Pisceans make marvellous artists, painters, photographers, film directors, actors, writers, musicians, psychotherapists, healers, helpers and mystics.

Pisceans and alcoholic liquor go together naturally. Many Pisceans are more prone than any other sign to become alcoholics. Alcohol changes your emotional state and you enjoy the intensified emotions that it produces.

Water plays an important part in your holiday plans. Rivers, lakes, sea - you like them to play an important part of your holiday environment. The sound of water is soothing to your mind. Water sports of all kinds attract you. Pisceans are not the athletes of the zodiac although you do enjoy swimming and dancing which are better suited to your flowing movements.

Keywords:

The Pisces glyph is a stylised rendition of two fish, swimming in opposite directions. Here we have themes revolving around absolutes, absorption, liquids, healing, psychic talents, pilgrimages, sacraments, unity, visions, romance, empathy, miracles. Pisces is compassionate, mystical, illusory, sensitive, spiritual, dreamy, artistic, passive, sacrificial, intuitive, charitable, impractical, escapist, inspirational.

Hi Montana Rain.
I like what you wrote. That is pretty typical for me too. When I am listening to someone talk about an experience they have had or are having, that is bad, I always begin to feel it as if it was me. I never really thought about why. It was "eye opening" when I did. I can become wrapped up in story lines if I am watching television or movies too. Although, I am not a cheesy person, so it has to be really good acting or reality. (or close to home)
People often come to me with their problems. As if I am the numero uno councelor. It is funny, because although I love to help people, I find it hard to get help. Many times I am not satisfied with what I hear, or people that I am around have so many problems they cant even see me.
When I have things going on in my life, I am really happy, but when I am bored and going through the motions, I can get very down. (typical of capricorn and pisces) When I am occupied, problems seem so petty.

Check out the site that double aquarius posted.
