Morgana,

Interesting how you differentiated between the types of intuition and I agree. With 3 Cancer planets, 2 Scorpio planets and Pisces Rising I often wish I could turn off all the "vibes" coming at me. It takes a lot of psychic energy to sift and sort through it all, and makes it difficult for me to focus on more mundane, everyday activities. Also, to say I feel misunderstood by more down-to-earth people is an understatement; yet I know I need them around me as they help keep me "grounded", lol.

Having said that...

LL,

I have learned that it's best for me to follow my intuition. More than once I have ignored or rationalized (Gem Sun) a "gut feeling" I had about something, only to regret it later. I guess the key is to find some kind of balance.

i have a friend who is a double pisces plus Mars in pisces, this girl is truly amazing. she is the most sensitive person i have ever met. she can pick up every little tiny vibration. her life is kinda of diffilcult for her, because she lives in a world that almost nobody can understand. she lives in between two worlds, the etherical and the fysical world. she is now 21 years old and i hope that she will be able to control her powers and benefit from them when she gets older. she heightens my awareness as well, when i am with her; as a double scorpio i can feel her really well, but sometimes it's a lttle bit to much for me to feel the whole material world dissolving into vibrations only...

I am a Pisces Asc
Aries Sun/Mars
Cancer Moon

Reading about Pisces really explains a lot. Just call me Ms Sensitive Sometimes I really feel like I am being dragged in two different directions!! The fire getting me all worked up, then the water drenching me.
Actually I'm a bit of a sook on a mission

This is a great site and I'm looking forward to learning more.

My 21 year old daughter is Pisces rising but it's the only thing on that side of the chart ..everything else is inthe other half----the 2nd and 3rd quadrant. I see the pisces more now that she is in a long term-relationship ...Is her Pisces ascenddant opposing everything always going to be a tug-of-war? She's a Virgo.

Boy,this is an interesting thread!!!!! No...I'm not pisces rising, but pretty darn near emotionally. Aries/f Sun, Pisces in Mercury,Venus and, Mars. RainbowPixx makes a very good point. I always feel as if I'm being pulled in two different directions! And it's true for me too. Push comes to shove, I'm always bailed out of compromising circumstances...I've got an Angel looking out for me somewhere. I've acknowledge pretty much that I'm a reactionary individual. I'm just to sensitive for everyone's elses' good! I feel like a sacrilegious lamb! -No pun intended-. My Aries sun is only good for backup muscle in an emergency.

hello all... i am also a pisces rising, sun in virgo and moon in aries. i too can sympathize with the feeling of constantly being pulled in two different directions. i would go so far as to even say that sometimes i'm a virtual "walking contradiction."
i have always noticed that i attract virgos and now realize this is probably due to my descendant being virgo. has anyone else noticed this?
also... with my ascendant being 0 Pisces 51" i was wondering if this is considered being on the "cusp" if there is even such a thing regarding ascendants and if so what does this mean? that i would have qualitites of aquarius and pisces rising?

also, i have collected various interpretations of pisces rising from different authors. if anyone is interested in reading them let me know and i will post.
sweet.

thank you very much
love. peace. harmony.

Welcome Myanvita!

As a Pisces Rising I, too, have attracted Virgo energy. My first husband was a Virgo Sun and Ascendant; my second husband a Virgo Moon, Venus, Jupiter and Ascendant.

I for one, would be interested in any interpretations on Pisces Rising that you'd like to post...and appreciate the offer.

hi. thanks for making me welcome.

____________________________

Pisces Ascendant

When Pisces rises the person concerned can be in real danger of losing their identity, especially if in a relationship with someone with much stronger personality traits. The Pisces rising person is in many ways a mirror, reflecting back at others precisely what they want to see, yet the true person remains hidden, vulnerable and more than a little frightened. With enormous imaginative and creative talents, the person with Pisces Ascendant is probably one of the true artists of the zodiac, in whatever form they may choose to use their skills. Sensitive and more than a little gullible they need to take care that they are not taken advantage of. Shyness and a lack of confidence are common, as are psychic and healing abilities and a great deal of spiritual wisdom.

PISCES ASCENDANT
The Pisces Ascendant is usually denoted by large, limpid pools for eyes. And if the eyes are the mirror to the soul, what better way to show your deep, sometimes confusing nature, to the rest of us. This confusion is due to your attractive yet mysterious nature. You've probably developed the "air" of being quixotic and exotic, all in one, to a fine art. As long as we're on the topic of art, you're going to find that you do have an artistic nature, and you might have a reasonable amount of skill in one or more areas of fine arts. There is also a spiritual association that goes with the Pisces Rising sign. The appeal of the open road, either literally or figuratively is strong in you. One of the best parts about Pisces Rising is that you can adapt to shifting paradigms with a high degree of ease. The downside is a possibly addictive nature.

Pisces Ascendant

"Go with the flow" seems to be a Pisces rising motto. They move about the world in a vaguely directionless, gentle manner. They come across as artists and lovers of peace; but their open minds and hearts can give them a chameleon-like persona. Others are not always sure who they'll meet from one day to the next with a Pisces rising person. Although often quiet and shy, another day may find them talkative and passionate. They are hugely impressionable, have a dreamy disposition, and project a soft-hearted personality. Pisces rising sees the world the way they want to see it at any given time, so objectivity is not necessarily a strong point. Neither is decision-making!

People with Pisces rising resist any kind of labeling--their characters are changeable, and they don't want to be pinned down or pegged in any way. Theirs is a restless, searching nature that cannot be happy with any one way of living or being. Pisces rising avoids cold, hard facts and harsh realities like the plague. They don't have a decisive plan for tomorrow or even today, preferring to keep things open. Since they change their minds frequently enough, and like to "feel" their way through life, too much organization or structure can be seen as very limiting.

Pisces rising people walk around with their heads in the clouds, and even when you do have their attention, their dreaminess is almost always apparent.

These people look for a stable partnership--one that is reliable. Pisces rising people gravitate to partners who keep them on their toes, and they often will pass off the little details and reality checks to their significant other. They seem to need a practical, realistic partner.

Pisces Ascendants often have a sensitivity to drugs, and sometimes are prone to allergies that come and go. Their physical constitutions seem to be less resistant than most.

Pisces rising people often possess an irresistible charm that comes on in a quiet way, with a soft aura about them. Both their appearance and mannerisms are usually quite intriguing to others.

i forgot where this one came from but if someone would really like to know then i will look harder to figure it out.

hope you all find these interesting... i sure do.

peace and love

Thanks for taking the time to post this info! I really related to the "losing identity" part, especially since my 1st and 7th houses are intercepted in addition to having the Pisces Ascendant.

The first post on this thread mentions Pisces having a short ascendancy and that there are few of us around, so finding others here has been comforting.

well if the ascention of Pices is short then I must be a RARITY:

Ascendant-Pices
Moon-Pices
Jupiter-Pices

My sun is in Leo but I identify with Pices more...I have the physical characteristics of a leo with Picean eyes and I'm drawn to things blue...especially blue clothing...watery blue...poweder blue...teal and turquiose and I think it has something to do with Pices being a water sign.

I am currently dating a WONERFUL Virgo and we seem to compliment eachother well.

I am very sensitive and, as someone else posted, I often times feel like a walking contradiction and that nobody understand me but I seem to have a real connection with this Virgo, I think he "gets" me.

I am a very accepting, open-minded person..almost to a fault and I'm learning more and more to follow my instincts.

I'm very "Artsy" and artistic/creative.

Hi all,

Well, I don't have a Pisces rising sign, but my little bro (he really isn't little) does. He is at the tail end of Pisces rising (just like I am at the tail end of Virgo rising).

The thing is that he never struck me as even remotely Pisces. He doesn't have the big watery eyes, or quiet personality. He is extremely outgoing and athletic. He sucks at swimming and it is probably the only sport, other than flat out running, that I can beat him in. (We were VERY competitive growing up, but we have always been close as well as being best friends).

Here is his birth data:

December 20, 1973 11:50am Hawaiin Gardens, California.

He's a Sag with Neptune and Mercury also in Sag (9th house)

Moon in Scorpio (now that I have seen first hand. Heck that kid holds a grudge and onto old bad memories like his life depends on them!)

His Mars is in Aries in the First house, so I wonder if that is really adding more features to his personality that the Pisces rising.

Any advice or comments? I will post his picture up on the knowflakes album.
