Okay, just putting my two cents in here and trying to control the urge to really knock off a few blocks. First of all, Science is NOT the be all end all. As scientists we are always trying to prove our theories wrong, to test and restest and relearn new concepts, drugs and devices. Any Scientist that states that something is an absolute is completely wrong as entropy works to undo all that is done.
Second of all, IF YOU HAVE NO SCIENTIFIC DATA to prove your point (e.g. NutraSweet is poison killing all our young children...or Chemotherapy must stop because it is bad), then please stop quoting your opinions as facts. Aspartame has gone through most tests than any other sweeteners on the market and has proven NOT to be a killer...sorry to pop your paranoid balloon. Chemotherapy is a necessary evil. It gave my aunt 3 more years of life that I am sure she appreciated as much as we did.
Let's keep the emotional dissertations to a minimum regarding pharmaceuticals if you have no idea how to back up your statements.
Now, SOME scientists believe that they are God. Those scientists would be that way even if they were CPA's. It's an ego thing and it is a sign of insecurity.
Astromers of yesterday looked to astrology for answers and both used complicated theorums / formulas to calculate the position of the planets. By using those calculations and the planetary positions you can also extrapolate the aspects, in degrees that one planet makes to another. It's all geometry Baby!!!!
And by the way, I do have to question Stephen Hawkings scientific capabilties since he is prone to massive errors and sloppy science and for all intense and purposes no one understands a damn thing he says. I don't believe the rubbish that his handlers know what he is saying either.
