I really don't buy alot of stuff...
What I spend my money on is BOOKS, BOOKS, BOOKS and Dvds. I also like to invite my friends to dinner at an expensive place. Lots of money goes to homeless people, I donate for charity and like to buy things where the money goes to a good cause. Oh and technology. Phones, computers, anything I really don't need. Oh and books. again ;-)

I almost never buy clothes/shoes (spend maybe $150/yr on attire), spend for myself on DVD's, skin care pampering products up the wazoo, religious figurines, feng shui mumbo jumbo, books, cool cooking gadgets, the occasional vacation, and taking friends to the movies/out to eat, oh yea, and my schooling, hahaaa that's where the bulk of it goes. Skin care products are my favorite thing to buy, omg, it's like therapy in a mud mask, or a bath, etc. after one of those it's like being reborn.

Venus in capricorn here.
I love to buy gifts for other people, often times more than for myself. I am working on allowing myself to buy myself gifts more often than once or twice a year lol.

If I buy anything for myself It's usually what I need or what is practical..or occasionally will splurge at a crystal shop, metaphysical store or book shop.
When it comes down to it, being in nature is more important to me than money, which makes it easy for me to have extra money to spend on friends and family . =)

L.M.A.O. This sounds like me and a male friend of mine--> I'm a Cancer Sun/Gemini Venus and he's a Gemini Sun/Cancer Venus. He got a little queasy over my spending habits. Though since going to Nursing School and rising gas prices....I've had to become more economical. Ugh.

What do I like to spend my money on...

Books & Magazines, mostly fantasy/fictional stuff and the occult. And other than that, clothes/shoes....my closet is almost overfilled.

For me,
Venus in Sagittarus;

Computer electronics, travel agents, everything luxury, for parties and drinks/foods, books, and healthy ingredients..

while spending not only venus in sag is effective but venus-sun conjunct, venus-jupiter trine is effective also.

My Venus is in Libra, but I'm quite sure my splurge spending is controlled and affected by other aspects in my chart.

I spend money on: books, more books, ethnic foods from restaurants around my office (nobody in my house has my food tastes so I have to get my jollies at work), movies and games for my kid, makeup (forever in search of the perfect eyeliner, which I've found by the way), succulent plants (my new kick), the occasional crystal/meteorite, vacations to make my kid happy.... and the occasional piece of costume jewelry. There's something in my chart that makes me fiscally responsible, otherwise I'd be out there buying what I covet: handbags, sparkly jewelry, shoes, all the new gadgets like the I-Pad, etc.

I like to squirrel away my money.. and then I like to SPEND. When the urge compels me to spend I like to spend money on travel, eating out and/or clothing. I love trying new foods and discovering new things. I used to buy a lot of books but I have begun to make trips to the library and only buy one them if they are unavailable for free elsewhere.

I have my Venus placed in pisces in the 8th house...I've always been a big spender on books, music, organic products, art and jewelry. I'm a huge fanatic when it comes to jewelry. I love buying the African inspired pieces with bright and bold prints that add a nice unique ethnic blend. Most of the necklaces I own are all intrinsically handmade with a natural authenticity to them. I adore symbols on jewelry that hold some sort of mythic lore to them. Finding out the profound meaning and what they represent is always a treat~
