Gemini Sun/Capricorn Moon/Libra Rising

I hate waterbeds! All that sloshing around... I don't need a very large bed. I also clutter my bed with books, magazines, cds, etc. and sleep next to them (the magazines go under my pillow). I even like to sleep with my digital camera, because I'm very attached to it. I like sheets and a comforter and I bury myself under them, I don't like to sleep exposed. I have one bedset that is light yellow and very airy-looking, with flowers, that I use in the spring. Other times I'll use red sheets and a leopard-print pillow, or something satiny and luxurious-looking. I like two normal matresses, a little on the soft side. Two big, extra-cushiony pillows, but I usually don't even use them. And I always sleep in the nude unless I'm exhausted or sick. I find wearing clothing to bed annoying.

Geminis don't make the bed. Ever. It's one of the hollowed tenants of our Sacred Secret Gemini Society.

My bed always has to be made or it depresses me..part of the bedroom sanctuary thing. Also, I HATE anything on my bed with the exception of my cats and blankets. Even the remote has to go on the nightstand.

26T -

Thats interesting, but I can see your point. The reason why I wear tank tops or tight T's is because I still get some support. Trying to run around the house in a loose T-shirt with NO bra makes me feel like I am flapping in the wind LOL...

Also, I never leave the house without a bra on - that is a complete no no in my book - because then I feel naked. Now, I can go commando depending on the pants I am wearing, but never braless..

Yes, funny, I always wear a bra but rarely underwear. I do wear unders and a tee to bed but in waking life I usually go commando on the bottom half.

............is this too much info?

Aries here, Leo rising, Aquarian moon

My bed is a very thick tall mattress that sits on the floor. Queen size. I guess it's about 18" tall. It's medium firmness. if I could afford a Tempurpedic that's what I'd have instead.

Sheets are cotton and usually dark blue. 3 pillows in blue and one body pillow in purple. The comforter is blue with a gold celestial pattern on it.

I toss and turn a lot. I HAVE to have the body pillow to hug. I'm usually hot so I rarely use the blanket. If I do use the blanket I like to keep my feet uncovered. I love to sleep with a fan on.. even if it's chilly. I don't use any sheets besides the fitted sheet on the mattress itself.

I prefer sleeping in the nude but haven't in years because 1) child in the house and 2) husband is a 17 year old in a 36 year old body and I would never get any sleep. SO it's a tshirt and pj bottoms usually for me.

26taurus, you're not alone! I do the commando-with-bra thing too. When I was younger and a little more rebellious, I'd completely forgo undergarments (I have relatively small ones, so I don't really need support) until I found out that bras with underwire and light padding can make them look really good. I loved to go commando under skirts, especially when it was risky to do so. Nowadays I usually wear something underneath because I got into lingerie and love wearing something cute under my clothes (although if I could, I'd wear my underwear as clothes, with a sexy coat and boots, like the models in those Victoria's Secret ads!)

Scorp Sun/Can ASC/Lib Moon/Scorp Venus - We have a California King sorta-waterbed - it looks like a mattress, but you open it up, and 1/2 of it is waterbed - there's foamy bed stuff on top, than a typical mattress looking outer shell with more padding - it doesn't slosh around like a regular waterbed (there is minor movement from time to time). The frame is Captain-style or something like that - Taurus hubby already had it when we met - lots of drawers, a headboard with cubbys, etc. I LOVE my bed...it's heavenly comfort.

My bedroom is my sanctuary so-to-speak as well, and my favorite color is purple, so...when we got the new house I painted the bedroom a nice muted purple (called purple sage), and the ceiling is a pale purple-pink off white (called starry night). I wanted to put glow-in-the-dark stars on the ceiling but hubby drew the line at that . I've decorated it in a pseudo indian/middle eastern thing, which carries over into the bed coverings and bits n pieces. I have these cool hanging glass lanterns w/ silver metal (tin?) on top and bottom, cut out with indian designs, two in purple glass and two gold glass, diff sizes, dangling in one corner at different lengths kinda staggered (the ceiling is vaulted which helps), they hold candles and throw off this gorgeous low light. I also have lots of candle sconces (gotta love candle light), cool beaded purple and bronze curtains, and a nice down comforter, not too puffy (hubby gets too hot), with a purple/eggplant/bronze duvet cover (sort-of a crushed satin look), and decent sheets - I love flannel in the winter, but again hubby gets hot (he's one of those folks who likes all the windows open in winter for fresh air), so we stick to cotton sheets, smelling of a certain brand of fabric softener, well tucked in at the bottom (I can't stand either lying straight on the mattress or having the duvet directly against my skin - so the bed is always well tucked). I sleep on my stomach usually always, naked usually - so the bed, comforter, sheets, etc are all nice and warm and comfy and soft and squishy against my body. The bed is pretty high because it's on a pedestal, but I don't really care about a bed's height so long as it's not on the floor. I like it to be extremely dark so I don't get woken up at the buttcrack of dawn. I also like some plants in the room, they really brighten up a room. (Esp. one in which bronze, purple and black is the color scheme)

I'm way into ambiance (surprise surprise). I also love my sleep and almost never have a problem getting to sleep.

Oh yeah, the pseudo-waterbed also means that I can sleep on my stomach and not crush 'the ladies'. Otherwise it can be a pain - literally, since I naturally roll to my stomach over the course of the night....

I share the bed with my Hubby and daughter most nights. She'll crawl in with us, and takes over the bed. I get to spend time cuddling with her when I miss her during the day, so it works out well.. she always sticks her head way over on my pillow and I end up sucking in her hair... my neck contorted painfully. My hubby beside me, in his customary fetal position, facing away from me, sweating profusely (shudder)sometimes the bed is actually damp *shudder fiercely* I wonder why I am an insomniac?!
I sleep on my back, mostly.. alot of times with my knees up.. I know, strange. That's when I actually get room...... We have a Queen sized. Four Posts, wood with cast iron filagree type pattterns. It's nice, but we've had it forever, I want a sexier one. I like two pillows.. feather. the first one under the feather pillow must be very flat and squished... the feather for comfort. I can never get warm. Even in summer I have cold feet. I sleep with a thin nice cotton sheet, flannel blanket, down duvet. I usually sleep in yoga pants/silk pants/ or cotton underwear and a tank top.. or a sports bra and T-shirt. Must be soft. I generally don't sleep nude. I like being nude, believe me, but I am usually with my daughter, as I said... so necessity dictates. Also, BloodRedMoon's reason.... Aries hubby... if I so much as push my bum against him when I cuddle, the pants are off.
We're a more than three nights a week couple. Daughter is usually not with us at that point. Yes, I said usually..... there have been 'quiet' on the other end of the bed moments, accompanied by the symphony of her sweet snoring. Bad mommy!!!!
My room has changed many times in the last five years, I like decorating and doing different things.(We're both fouth house Suns and Mine's conjunct Uranus).. right now it is a deep red-brown...... like earthy soil, or a reddened coffee bean. Satin finish... with lots of candles and a huge antique wooden mirror across from th bed. A nice stained glass fairy lamp who casts a beautiful shadow and looks like a 20's 'flapper' style, with wings. Not cheesy at all. lots of metal/wood candle thingies... beachy looking shutters..huge wardrobe... quite eclectic.
I like it pretty dark.

Virgo sun, Libra Venus

Well, what I have, and what I like are two different things. I am currently sleeping on a couch, and it doesn't particularly suit my fancy, but it works. I prefer a FIRM mattress, cotton sheets, and cotton/polyester blend blanket (if not pure cotton). I like a soft pillow, but not too soft. My old bed sucked; the frame was broken and when you sat on the edge, the other end would tip over and you would fall off lol. I can't sleep nude, just doesn't work.

Oh yeah, and I usually have to drink a bottle of ice water before I go to bed (even in Winter) because I get REALLY hot. I would much rather be too cold than too hot, I am very sensitive to heat.

Bed situation:
Horrible double mattress on plain metal frame with hideous white formicaish headboard, only good thing about it is leverage....
Flannel sheets in winter, 250 count cotton sheets in summer. Three pillows, one for me and two for Mr. Libra, both of which I take over when he leaves for work.
TV on when I'm alone, door closed, window open, but curtains closed.... can't sleep with too much light in the room. Prefer the room to be v. hot in winter and v. cool in spring/summer/fall.
Pillow has to be squishy, as I sleep on by belly and curl my arms around my pillow over my head to fall alseep. I also rub my feet together, I read somewhere that is soothing and helps one fall asleep, I've done it all my life.
I am a good sleeping partner, as I don't move from the position I'm sleeping in until the other person wakes up. Like to cuddle with Mr. Libra as the little spoon (he sleeps on his left side, on the left side of the bed, so I have to be the back spoon), until he is asleep, then I roll over onto my tummy and get comfortable. He tosses all over the place all night.
Have to have very bright, mismatch sheets, pillowcases, and comforters, too much order where I sleep would drive me nuts!! And I always make the bed.
I sleep in boxers and a tank top in the summer, unless I've been out dancing, then I go commando, and long flannel pants and thermal shirt in winter.

About the whole ''ya-ya's'' thing, they are always free, unless I'm working, which would be a higly innapropriate place for the girls to strike out on their own. But they are small, so I pretty much hate bras as they seem pointless and confining... anything that feels tight or constricting usually bugs me.

I have a funny slang term for the male anatomy, I made it up while trying to outdo my ex in the boobie slang department....
mudflap.... kinda yucky, but I think it's funny. He named mine, but I don't remember what the names were. His was called ''The Captain''. Didn't get that from me, not nearly original enough.

Do gemini's like a lot of air when they sleep???

I just got a ceiling fan instaled in my room right above my bed, its great at night,

it feels great to sleep and have a brezee of fresh air, i even turn it on in the winter time.

Its vary refreshing, as for the bed itself typical firm bed although i tend to use my bed for diffrent purposes lets see a dinner table, a study table, some sorta seat when i'm watching tv in my room.

as for pilliows, 2 hard firm pillows and 2 extra soft pillows, some how i combine the the harder pillows with the softer pilliows

as for blankets,

i guess this is where the childish part of me comes,i simply rally on a sleeping bag its quick and easy, just zip it up and just hope right in.

in the morning same thing zip it up, no need to make the bed just zip it up. I find i can get alot more done that way.

my sun is in gemini, moon in aries. capircorn/aqarious rissing, mercury in gemini

Sleep?

Tenderly snuggle in nude with curvaceous Pisces girl, spoons position.

A nice (and new) comforter; a thin pillow so as not to crick the neck.

Quiet, not too cold although it doesn't really matter if you have the Pisces and the comforter. Not too hot.

Futon or bed, as long as it is not too hard nor too soft.

Colors of sheets etc.? It's dark. Who notices?

(Don't like whites though)

Fabrics: different things. Spice of Varities etc. Well, you've got to change the sheets anyway, so try all things.

Window open for cool, fresh air...

I'm an Aquarian (duh!) with Libra rising and a Capricorn moon... my husband is a Pisces with Cap rising and an Aries moon... We have a dark wood sleigh bed with a plush comforter and white sheets. I mainly use my pillow to support my arm, I never sleep with a pillow under my head and I usually sleep on my belly. On the previous page there was a Pisces saying they love sleeping in a cold room... This is the bane of my existence! Grrr... Every night, hubby and I will argue about leaving the fan on, then I falsely concede but since he's usually asleep within 10 minutes, I just get up and turn it off and then go to sleep for real, lol. Sometimes he'll be like "and don't get up and turn it off straight away!"... and I'm like "yeah"... but then I get up and turn it off straight away anyway, lol.

If I leave the ceiling fan on all night, I feel stiff for the rest of the damn day! I had no idea this was a Pisces trait... *shakes head*

well astro junkie i dont have a waterbed but i could see myself sleeping on one.

for some reason i can sleep with two pillows i hate sleeping with one pillow because. 1)my head feels to close to the mattress and i cant stand that. 2)its more comfy with two pillows.

i hate sleeping under the sheets im always on top of the covers and then i put a blanket on top of myself. and for some reason i always sleep with a blanket in summer too.

regular sheets is guess. right now white with green leafs on them. my bed is a always soft to me at least.
im up off the ground but i kinda want a futon i like be close to the floor.

double wide i need alot of space. i dont trust myself on a small bed roll over and fall.

i never sleep bare i need clothes especially sweaters and comfy pants.

i need my rest and i love sleeping cause its so much fun. all you have to do is lay there. just like sex

i like the trifecta:

down comforter
down pillows
down matress pad

have to cover up even in summer
one foot out

everytime i get in my bed, i think it is the most comfortable bed in the world. i make it perfectly every day before i leave for work.

can't stand sheets that aren't perfectly clean and smelling fresh.

i hate pajamas. in fact i decided how much i hated them and threw them all away some time ago, if i have to get up for the bathroom, i just grab my robe.

i have the same bed as patricia arquette in the show "medium".

ha maybe it is a pisces thing, pisces sun here and i need the cold room with just a little bit of light so i leave the windows uncovered, it can't be completely dark, and then to shift right into a warm and cozy bed i'm out within 5 min, and i can't sleep without being covered with sheet blanket and duvet all year long, only diff is in the winter i use electric blanket, if it's just me and the sheet i feel naked, but i do like to sleep in the nude so go fig.. i toss and turn, and kick apparently, all night but never wake up in the middle of the night, can go for 10 hrs. leo rising.

leo/pisces moon. my ideal bed - a massive fourposter draped with heavy fabric where i can cocoon and swoon to my heart's content...with bolsters for reading and the softest down for sleeping on.

the reality is a basic box spring and (very comfy) mattress on a steel frame, but it's shoved into a nook surrounded by built in shelving which is pretty cool.

Sun and Venus in Libra.

I cannot stand waterbeds.

Partially due to budget, partially to taste, and partially for practicality, I got a small futon for myself. One pillow, blue sheets. Strawberry Shortcake blanket with Cthulhu plush toys (and slippers) on top (but off when I'm sleeping).

But when I get my own place, I'd like a queen sized bed (even if I sleep alone) with A LOT of pillows. I love pillows, and bean bags, and cushions, and thick comfortable rugs.

I sleep in my panties or in the bare. I toss & turn a lot, so I need to be able to move (for this reason, I also hate bed boards at the foot of the bed and posts, as I can hurt my foot on them).

I do like the smell of coconut or pine as I go to sleep, but I rarely think to have it. If hot (and noisy outside), I do like to run a fan, it can lull me to sleep.

I would not have a TV in my room. I'll put on music, but not radio. I do not like night lights on as I sleep.
