God? I donīt know... It depends on what you call God... I donīt believe in religion, I donīt believe in a father figure we can pray to and be listened, I donīt believe in a protector...

I believe there is Equilibrium, a force that drives the Universe... You can call it karma, you can call it God, you can call it as you prefer... But it wonīt change because you give it a different name...

Astrology only tries to unlock the mistery of how the Universe work, studies the keys of Nature, works on observation of signs... Therefore I believe it is a valid approach to truth... Itīs not based on faith.

We are here to learn lessons, to evolve... Nothing to do with pleasing a God or imitating it... Nobody out there listens, nobody apart from the other souls like your own... You are your own tribunal, if you fail this time you will come back to improve, but nobody will force you... You will for your own sake...

Divinity is in all of us, in Nature, in the whole Universe because we are a piece of it. Astrology is another way to study that divinity, as it is Physics or Philosophy.

I donīt think that divinity has a source, not a human-like, concient source... Itīs all driven by Equilibrium, thatīs the force that people call God and generated concepts such as justice. Good and Evil are part of the same divinity, of the same whole... Masculine and Femenine, Ying and Yang...

Thatīs what I believe, anyway... Thanks for sharing!

Pixie, just read everyone's responses, and your response totally resonated to where my thoughts took me. I hear you.

No kidding viper! While I was writing my post, I said to myself, "do you believe in Love?", it was a voice that entered my inner ear, it wasn't my own thought. And WOW, when I read your post, it kinda startled me.
Now I feel comforted.

And, happy Valentines day!

This question is answered by answering the question "what is you.?"

You were created by God to be immortal.

He clothed you with Flesh and put spirit in you.

When he clothed you, he wanted you to obeserve your surrounding. He wants you to find out why he did certain things in a certain way. Immortality is a long long time. A computer chip doubles its speed every ten years. A man, in mortal flesh is gaining increasing knowledge of the matter world. By observing, paying attention, it will be revealed. Creation was created with a Law in mind. Our thoughts our findings reflect the law on each of our souls. And with each revelation shines the light on us. The more we discover, the more we are joyous aren't we? If you answered no to that question your spirit would become extinct. God could take your life away

Astrology primarily exists to determine seasons, its effect on earth.

So once you master the matter phenomenon and your spiritual life ascends, he would give you a glimpse of himself. You would be in awe. To everything is a time and a season.

Hope that helps. It helpmed me to reassure myself

26taurus You might appreciate this:
One time, an old friend contacted me, whome once de-friended my partner & I because we wasn't 'zenning' with him. We miss this friend, he's a humerous guy, alot of charisma, and he was a great person to know. Until one day he de-friended us because we were'nt into Zen.
When he contacted us on messenger one day he asked,
"are you guys zenning yet?"
And I said, "no, we're just "being"

YES, and No.
i believe in something but not one entity.
I think energy is God.The more you understand the polarities of it the more effective you become in shaping it, and ultimately when you recognize this within yourself ,in my not so humble opinion , you become it.
I Am God you are God.
I Am the Devil too , and so are you.
I Am calm, I Am raging,
I Am intelligent, I Am an idiot.
I Am proud,& this humbles me.
Iam a stable contradiction.
I have many sides that make up one person.
I have many people that define my opinions,
I Am mutable obstinance.
I Am uniquely me, I Am nothing new.
I Am harmoniously in a constant battle.
I Am the embodiment of one soul,
I Am the personification of every soul.
I AM that I AM.
and so are You.

It seems like the more we learn about the universe, the more we find the same principles of logic and organization apply to a multitude of different areas. I wouldn't be surprised if we discovered a universal mathematical equation representing reality, or the forces that underly it.

I often feel that I'm merely a visitor in this reality, that there is another more "real," more "pure" plane where we come from and ultimately return to.

From the intricacies of the most microscopic, to the the awe-inspiring macroscopic. From the external wonders of nature that our eyes perceive, to the beautiful universe that exists insid, existence is divine.
Master plan or random chance?
Does it really matter? The universe is beautiful and we're truly blessed to percieve it.

Greetings...

Here's two cents from the opinionated Astrologer:

I would give the same answer to both Astrology and God, for what is Astrology but "God's handwriting on the wall":

I do not believe, I understand! Or at least I seek to understand. And there is a difference!

Blessings...

I believe....
That we human beings are "sparks from the Divine Sparkler"......(Sylvia Browne)
That we are immortal and eternal spirits, enduring this camping trip of an incarnation that we mapped out on The Other Side before we came here to learn the lessons we chose to learn......(ibid)
That Thou Art God.....(Robert Heinlein)
That Everything that Is vibrates, and "Good Vibrations" is not just a great Beach Boys song and a goofy cliche from the 60's.....
That our purpose here is to learn, and to help each other learn, to Love.....

I was raised by a very religious mother, in the end it kind of backfired on her - she saw through the hypocrisy of it. However it did leave me with a great feeling of spirituality - I live on a prayer - when things are good and bad I pray. Like some of you others have said, it isn't something that can be forced - it is felt and when I look around at nature, I can't help but feel there is something huge out there. A couple of weeks ago after my house set on fire, I knew there was a god in my life cause he saved my house - I asked for a very specific prayer, that our living quarters would be saved, I prayed with such passion and sincerity and you know what..........my prayers were answered. Since that day my faith is even stronger. I cannot tolerate organised religion, I am living in a very strong catholic country and see all around the fear their "god" creates. God is love and for me beleiving in this amazing force brings a wonderful sense of peace and a feeling that no matter what is thrown at us, that everything is gonna be okay - we cannot do it on our own xxxxx

BlueRoamer,
I liked what you wrote, especially:

"I often feel that I'm merely a visitor in this reality, that there is another more "real," more "pure" plane where we come from and ultimately return to."

Check out this book..... http://search.barnesandnoble.com/booksearch/isbnInquiry.asp?userid=bsq1A4d1 D8&isbn=0451198638&itm=1
it is one human's view of that "real" reality, that Home we are all longing for, that "Heaven" that we come here from, and go back to after this plane of existence.

I've had a lot of hardship in my life--health problems that have kept me from being able to work--and I feel that it has caused me to grow close to God. I get guidance from God--that still small voice. And the God I know doesn't judge me for using Astrology to get a handle on the "energies". Religion is about conformity but I believe God wants to bring out our individuality.

Just as a fool does not understand that he is a fool. Likewise a God and Goddess does not understand their own divinity.
And we are Gods right

It is not necessary to ask the question "if God exists?" again and again . It is important to realize that you know the answer even before you were born.
While you were in your mothers womb as a foetus, you were nurtured, protected, by a Hand. Even when you were delivered, it was not just your own effor

If you seriously inquire, you will get an answer for a brief moment. Its as brief as when a lighting lights the sky. But it enlightens the darkness for miles and miles.
Everything is seen clearly.

Each of us long for that moment and spend our time. Continue to acknowledge Gods laws and keep it. Don't digress it. If you keep Gods laws unknowingly/naturally you are blessed many fold than knowingly following the law.

PEACE.

Yeah, call it whatever..
BTW, I edited the previous post hence the
*bump*

Pardon the personifications in the post such as Hand, He/She/God/Goddess/..These are required to be understood by us humans. How can we express what we learn? I for one can meet a person, and be quiet, not speak a word and yet understand everything... Thats true of water and fire signs..

Hehe, its a seperate topic by itself aint't it?

Didn't some wise person at Linda Land once said?

"I went to find God and found myself.."
"I went in search of myself and I found God...."

Something along those lines....

Yes, I do and I have personally witnessed proof of God and of evil. And I don't mean evil like a sin, but actual evil in the biblical sense.

I do believe and love and trust in God, but I still question and try to find answers to any problems the best way I can. I believe God has given me free will, a gift of curiosity, and intelligence to use them as I feel appropriate. Not for my mind and strength to atrophy in blind faith and devotion.

I am a proactive believer; in other words I know God is not operating a heavenly burger king. I can't have it my way and no amount of prayer will give me what I can't have. I may or may not receive a blessing in life, but I will personally work for everything and anything I want, as that is my choice/freedom to do so or not.

To me God is intangible, kinda like bath water that is your exact body temperature, its all around and you can feel it, but you can't grab on and hold it. Doesn't mean it doesn't exist and as I have my faith, I know there is the divine in life and love is a gift (perhaps the greatest one, next to the Virgin Mary and opposable thumbs. ).

I do not use astrology on a religious level, technically for the religion I was raised within astrology is divination and that is against God's plan. But it will be my free will to use it or not.
