Yes I do believe in God......and I think astrology is just for fun really and cool because you can learn a lot about people, but I don't let it rule my life...I really enjoy this board though because there are so many opinons, I like that!

Beautifully said BlueRoamer -

I often think that God exists whether we believe at the time or not. Sort of the "one pair of footprints in the sand" analogy.

White-robe-wearing, long-white-bearded, sandal-hording, lightning-bolt-wielding, sitting-behind-a-big-golden-desk God ?? Nah... I do not belive in him. I believe in us- humanity; energy; positive and negative actions/reactions; learning; growing; loving; manifesting joy and love in everyday things; smiling; singing; dancing; laughing; children using sidewalk chalk in the summer drawing sun shines and hop scotch paths; cats lounging in the sun cast on the living room floor; an old married couple walking down the street on a snowy afternoon holding hands and giggling; the sound of the elven language of babies; parrots cawing outside the window on a Saturday morning; hiking to the top of a mountain in the blazing heat and descending in the pouring rain... just being. That's what I believe in. NO organized religion, no 'these are the RULES, obey them or go to a firey eternity'... I believe we all have good and bad in us, and that when people act out in what we consider 'bad' ways (i.e. lying, cheating, stealing, killing...) a good excuse for such behavior is ''The Devil made me do it''.... Yeah...

Anyways, it's all personal opinion and experience. I have full respect for the beliefs of others, what makes you happy in your own life is yours and go you for owning it. But me personally, I believe in the nature of the universe, and if that is my 'higher power', so be it... but it's definately not a guy sitting on some clouds with St. Peter eating Philly cream cheese and watching Pam Anderson shower.

.... um... yeah.

I was raised Catholic but 'never' found God in a building (church). I 'always' find God in nature. As for Astrology, I use it to understand those around me, not as a day planner. lol!

I think there is probably a "divine" energy or force that is available to us. Maybe it is simply the force/energy of love. Perhaps it is divine intelligence....not sure exactly. But then, sometimes, when I'm down or feeling sorry for myself, I'm sure there isn't....guess I'm fickle. I have some problems with the whole thing because of religious crap/guilt, etc that I was fed as a child. I want to KNOW it's there...that energy/love/intelligence. Maybe it's that sceptical Gemini thing. But, I really want there to be a God/Goddess....just not sure.

Yes.
I believe that God is a spirit
I'm a spiritual person, I believe that spirituality is the natural connection between you and the higher spirit, and that religion is man made(well because it is). Even though I go to a Christian church because I need an outlet for my spirituality, I think that realigion are all connected, and that God sent Jesus to be an example, just as he sent Buddah, and all of the others.
I would say that I think of astrology as something that God made. It is a science, just as any other science. It is matter of logic, not sorcery (as some say).

At age 17 during a most horrible time, after hours of prayer, followed by the despair that the God I so believed in and loved deserted me I was blessed with an actual physical manifestaion of an Angelic being who relayed specific messages for me from the man uppstairs.I could write a book on this event but in short to feel the essence of God just for moments can change your life forever.
I only wish that each person on earth had this experience and the world would be a great place.
It's no more being lead by faith or innner knowing.....now its real.
Folks, not only does a supreme being exist,he really does hear every word and thought. He loves you beyond your imagination.
I know that no person alive can explain the pure love that he has for you.I myself have never met another person who has had a similar experince and I know telling others about it does in no way allow then to "feel" my experiential data.
If I knew a way to prove it I would. My adivce? Do what I did....pray,and ask to feel his love and ask to hear him ,ask to make his presence known.
I know if u are sincere he will listen.

Dear Maratti, I've had an experience like yours. I've only ever told one person about it....I didn't need to share it really, I knew it was real. I was just 18 years old when it happened. God is not some remote being. Anyone that would talk to God and then sit in silence and listen would hear that "still small voice".
