Libra78:

General trait: The Scorpio Sun/Leo Moon is half mystery/half "in the spotlight".

I would say first and foremost: Treat this combination like the Scorpio it is. Scorpio will be turned off by anyone that uses any flattery that sounds slightly suspicious. Resist the urge to treat this Leo moon like a queen or king until you know them better. Honesty, truth, and exaggerate only to make a funny story funnier.

I'm like a light switch. I'm either on or off. No between. I take a very long to get angry. Can't remember the last time I was truly angry. I move on from most insults/slights that other people get offended by. Dunno what planet that comes from, but I'm feeling like it's the Leo moon. Spite/revenge? I did the revenge thing up until high school. Now it's easier to sit back and watch the universe take care of those who did me wrong.... especially since there are few people that ever get me to that point. Most people don't want to get me there. If I'm not smiling or talking, I get asked if I'm mad. Or I'm told occasionally that people wouldn't want to "make me mad". I always ask... when's the last time you saw me mad!? And they always say.. never. They wouldn't want to go there. ?????? I have no explanation for it, but I'm not complaining.

To me, Leo moon adds a distant emotional stance to my emotional Scorpio sun. As I posted in a Leo Moon thread here within the last few months, I find it hard to express my emotions to most people. Alot of people would tell you that I am friendly and fun, will talk about emotion and empathize with anyone about any of theirs, but I won't spill my own beans. Not on purpose. It's just easier to work them out in my head.
With the right person, my SO, I can express my emotions when it's the proper time.

We do know exactly what we want, and if we don't obtain it ourselves, we will ask directly for it. I don't beat around the bush, and the other Leo Moons in my life don't hesitate either. I talk to anyone about anything. No subject taboo. Everything's interesting.

I find that alot of people get the wrong impression of me at the first meeting. Even more true of the opposite sex. People think because I'm friendly and carefree, I'm easy and a pushover. So wrong. No respect=no go. No judging a scorpion by a different cover... even more misleading when my leo cover shares my leo tone.

I tend to attract alot of attention that I never ask for. I don't know if it's the Leo rising or just my combination. I know I can party in the spotlight, but need to retreat to the corner for a breather.

Once it's comfortable, my Leo moon will want to be pampered somewhat, and when I would ask that you listen to me, I would want your full and undivided attention. I'm not the type to ask for that type of attention often. When it's serious, it's down to business.

I love to have fun, will try anything once. I know with this combo, it's very fixed. Personally, in my mid 20s I started being more spontaneous, adventurous, etc. The Leo moon does like it's kicks. Scorpio sun definately likes it's kinky kicks.

Summary? Scorpio rules this combo with intense thoughts and emotions that are hard for the Leo moon to express. Doesn't mean that Leo moon weighs the sun down; Leo moon just finds it harder to leave the den.

Did it help? If you've got specific questions you can email me. Or maybe Pix will jump in.

Angela

thanks for the long post
very interesting- i do like the no bull approach your post states. In terms of promiscuity- you said it was not present even though it may appear so, so could I assume that this is a faithful combination all in all? Is this a 'material' combination in your opinion? Is it philosophically oriented at all? what traits apart from, Im sure, confidence does this combination appreciate in others (apart from no bullsht)? what higher goals and visions do they support? The square does not repress sexuality does it? I did not get that tone from your post, but am curious? What about the role of motherhood, any thoughts? thanks!

Dear cancerrg,

gosh, don't be sad for me.....I am not sad....just focus on being happy.

'zala,

glad you liked that site - I know that I dragged a couple of members from there to here. I hope you join as a member there - and, I would love for you to buy yoursElf an oracle deck (or some type of divinatory tool) and come and join our weekly SOUL Gathering Reading Exchange. I think you would love it.

Sounds fascinating! I already registered over there but didn't get to do much reading beyond what decks people have. Uh-oh, I can see it can become a fanatical-collector type thing!!!
I'd like to understand more of what the reading exchange is all about....

Dear cancerrg,

thank you....

'zala,

SOUL Gathering Reading Exchange.

It's just a place where, each week, we put up a different topic/question. You are partnered with another Seeker (member) to read for each other. You can use any oracle/divination method that you like to derive the answer.

We're only up to the second week. Our question/theme for the first week was "What is your soul's purpose?" This week's theme is "What is your message for mind, for body, and for spirit?"

Seekers have been quite creative for their first readings. Some used Oracle decks, one used Runes (that they made by carving symbols into leaves and floating in a bowl of water), one was going to play random songs from multiple cd's and listen to messages etc.

There is no charge to participate. You need to be a member of that forum(which you can join for free), and general forum rules request that you have at least 25 posts to engage in a reading exchange. All you need to do is post a reply in this thread stating you'd like to participate.

I thought it might be interesting to pull books off the shelf, and turn to a page, and point to a passage at random to gather the message.

Drop by and take a look.

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you.

Scorpio Sun/Leo moon for me is very faithful. Like a "light switch", I'm on or off w/the opposite sex. So... I'm either in a relationship or not. And when I'm in, I'm definately in.

I am not materialistic, but I do have my favorite collections of objects.

I am very philosophical. I like to say I'm well read, and I'll talk about anything, including politics and religion if someone else is game.

Sexuality? Well, I've got the much hyped Venus and Mars in Scorpio. No repression here.

Motherhood? Well, I've only got a "furchild" and I am very dedicated to him. I love my nieces and nephews and can't wait to have children!

Hope that helps a little more...

Angela

I'm coming into this a bit late, but I read something that defininitely resonates with me:
quote:
The problem is I think we often try too long and hard. But when we wake up and realize that life and true love is passing us by, we make our break and burn those bridges.

Although I have to say, every woman I know tends to denial about their love partner. I don't have a lot of female friends, and of the few I do, only one is truly happy with her partner. I think women sell themselves short, are not honest with themselves about their needs and their worth, and even their faults - I notice we tend to come down hard on ourselves for some things, and be oblivious to others...but I guess that's just human.

But anyway, I do think certain signs will stick in there much longer than others, Scorpio being one of them, which is why we're known to be so reluctant to fall in the first place IMHO.

At least when we've had enough, that's it...BLAM! we're finished...goodbye. I've known some women who never draw a line, have never had enough. But again, I couldn't pin that down to any one sign. It seems to be a female affliction, not an astrological one. LOL

Isis! My bridges are burned, the rivers diverted, and the rewards for letting go have been more than well worth it! We can become so complacent, even resigned, to a stagnating relationship, simply because we have became accustomed to it; and formed self denial patterns to protect our fragilities.

Hi ScotScorp: The reason I was asking you was obviously because of this girl whom I am 'talking' to. I want to ask her her bday but dont want to actually ask I would like some help with figuring out an ascendent please- the hints i can provide:
-she speaks with a calm, steady pace, somewhat deliberate pace, she doesnt have the 'pirate-like' voice of some scorpios, but its some where in between. She doesnt get too excited on her speech expression- albeit i dont know her 'that' well. She is quite conversational though- seems to listen well and expects to be heard. She is approx 5-3 in hight has those scorpio eyes, and is medium-slim build. If you have any hints, I'd appreciate it!

Libra78:

Well, I'm sorry I can't help you with what her asc. is. I am relatively new to studying planets and can only tell you the traits of my own Leo asc.!!! You would definately need what time of day she was born on her birthdate.

If you give more specific information about how she looks, for example, straight hair/curly hair? pale or dark skin? type of body build? Someone else could pop in and give you an answer. You could also GOOGLE a few sites looking for Ascendant traits and match her up there.

Good luck!
Angela

P.S. You could start her curiousity just by asking her straight out her time and date of birth and then tell her you'll tell her LATER why you wanna know.... a little mystery for a Scorpio girl can be intriging. (sp)
