What placements or aspects in synastry would bring about a sexual obsession with someone? In another thread I was inspired by the apparently very strong Quindecile, but what other combinations would spur this or enhance a severe attraction? I think a Venus/Pluto would definitely make for that kind of sexual desire. Juno also plays a role that's what Magi claims.------------------

Pluto in someone's eigth house, or venus in someone's eighth house, although pluto would be more potent, also mars in someone's 8th house.IP: Logged |

i think venus/pluto aspects can be indicative of sexual obsession. i have also
heard that mars quincunx pluto could lead to a sexual obession. as with all pluto aspects-i don't know who does the obsessing more-you just feel that it is there.ok-i wanted to add some more-i was just talking to a friend also into astology and she said that the person with the more pluto influence in their chart is the one who feels the pluto aspects more...when equal or close to equal plutonian influence then both feel the obsessions. hence, the sexual obsession. In Cafeastrology they had something on Eros playing a role too, like Eros conjunction Mars, Ero conjunction Venus...------------------

definitely Venus conjunct Pluto, Mars conjunct Neptune, Mars conjunct Venus, Mars in someone's 8th house, Eros in another's 5 or 8th house, and Mars sextile Pluto.
I have all these aspects with my boyfriend.
And maybe some Scorpio or Taurus planets.

I know that undeniable erotic attractions happen when a woman's venus conjuncts a man's eros exactly, but would this aspect be the same for a woman (her eros, his venus)? Or would a man's mars conjunct a woman's eros produce the same kind of obsessive attraction?This cafeastrology perspective is confusing me somewhat. S_T IP: Logged |

Could you imagine the attraction if someone had just about ALL the aspects you guys mentioned, they wouldn't know if they were coming or going  ------------------

from personal experience pluto works on a level of its own. hard aspects like
mars- pluto venus- pluto are unbeatable for that fatal attraction effect. IP: Logged |

From personal experience, Pluto-Venus aspects. Pluto on the angles in synastry, and a Pluto-Venus quindecile. In this particular case, there was also Venus exactly conjunct my Vertex... and chiron on my DC. I didn't stand a chance! Bah! IP: Logged |

Mars/Pluto
Sometimes even Venus/Uranus and Mars/Uranus

Semi-squares are a milder version of the Square, I had a Mars Semi-square Venus of only 3 minutes with this guy I liked(it was one sided unfortunately)of course I was the Mars. But there is some form of an attraction with the Semi-square. Jupiter helps strengthen an attraction(like Jupiter conjunction Venus), it helps to be tolerant and forgiving of someones shortcomings. After all how can you stay attracted to someone if you can't except their 'achiles heel'. An aggravated Jupiter just adds to an obsession(being excessive).------------------

This last guy I was interested in, my Mars opposed his Pluto and his Eros opposed my Pluto. There was a touch of obsessiveness going on there, even though we didn't have sex.We also had a bunch of DWs, inculding Sun-Uranus and Mars-Venus (including my Mars cj his Venus). IP: Logged |

We didn't have DW mars-pluto aspects, thankfully. We had about 4 or 5 DWs - I kept losing track.One of our mains problem was there's was a lot of Mars aspects between us, so we had all this energy, but we couldn't act on it for various reasons. Bad timing, the holidays, his kids, etc. Fortunately, there was very few intense Pluto aspects so it was easy to walk away from that once it got too frustrating.However, I'm still obsessing a bit over this, as you can see. Well I know I have Juno conjunct someones chiron, with a venus mars opp and Moon pluto conjunction in the composite, My moon trine his mars and his mars trine my moon too....and there are times I find it very difficult not to rip his clothes off....Does that count?IP: Logged |
