I love taurean energy!!! Geminis and air signs. . . I love them, but I don't always "get" them. I, too, feel like they exist on another plane, God love em. IP: Logged |

Favorite Moon: Pisces - this is my own moon sign, but I have a lot of friends that also have this placement. It gives such a deep emotionality that I always see something new in people. Scorpio - again the intensity and strength Taurus - passionate and dependable. I guess all three take time to get to know - I guess it takes one to know one!!! lol IP: Logged |

Broodlingmoodlin, quote: seem to be gravitated toward Pisces moons a lot...or seem to find that some good friends seem to have it. And it's usually a Scorp sun/ Pisces moon combo, too (that or with Gemini sun). I've had the opposite too with pisces sun and scorp moon, but I like pisces moon best. They're so sweet and gentle..so deep. You almost forget that they're scorpio (no offense scorps, because I love you guys!).
Those two sun/moon combos are the best.

Leo, Scorpio & CancerAstrid ~ quote: he has Saturn and Mars in Scorpio. That was a first for me (don't know too many people with Mars in scorp).
Mars in Scorpio is extremely magnetic and charismatic, and it's a common placement for rock stars or other celebrities with "cult of personality." Elvis Presley, Kurt Cobain & Dave Grohl, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jimi Hendrix, Oprah Winfrey, Billy Corgan, Billy Idol, Hunter S. Thompson, Marilyn Manson, Bobby Kennedy, Frank Zappa...IP: Logged |

I guess my favorite would have to be a Moon in my Sun sign in an early degree like my Sun. That's the most selfish answer, right?I'm a Mars in Scorp guy, Nef. IP: Logged |

Moon in Aries - that resonates well with my own stellium in sagittarius, and it falls into my 4th houseMoon in Taurus - I`ve known some with that moonsign, and most of them are very warm, sensual, calm, friendly people, except for those who are plainly annoying and unmovable and so stubborn, that it`?s almost ignorant. But I guess I`m a bit in tune with Taurus, too, since my own Moon is in the 2nd, the Taurus-house. Also, my Part of marriage falls onto 8° Taurus, and most Taurus-Moons fall into my 5th house, often making a trine to my Venus. That explains the attraction a bit, I think. Moon in Scorpio - it`s amazing how often that sign appears. I should loathe it with my own Moon being in aquarius, but I`m insanely attracted to its intensity. Maybe this energy is so familiar to me, because my Mum`s Sun in Scorpio is opposite my Dad`s moon in taurus, and I kind of "know" that energy. However, I don`t think the attachment to Scorpio-moons is reciprocrated. My natal Uranus would conjunct their Moons, if they are in the beginning of Scorpio (and they always are!) But to me the attraction is there, but then again I have an emphasized TAurus-Scorpio axis over the houses 2 and 8. The ruler of my 2nd house, Saturn, falls into my own 8th house; and the ruler of my 8th house, Moon, falls into my 2nd house. And those Scorpio-Moons mainly fall into my 11th house, which resonates with my Aquarius-moon, I guess. DD IP: Logged |

My favorites:(1) Moon in Leo - It's my own Moon sign and at the risk of sounding completely self-centered now, I think it's simply the best Moon you could have. (2) Moon in Libra - I like their easy-going, charming manner. (3) Moon in Pisces - although it is at the same time also one of my least favorite Moons ... I like their sensitivity and dreaminess, but their moodiness is unbearable sometimes. The only Moon I don't like AT ALL is Moon in Scorpio. I know quite many people who have this placement and at some point I always end up fighting with them. And fighting with someone with strong Scorpio placements is not at all fun and games. 1) Moon in Aquarius 2) Moon in Leo 3)Moon in AriesI absolutely do not get along with Scorpio Moons. The absolute least favorite (no offense). And I'm a super Scorp myself. And I repel them. Too much pent up emotion, too many alterior motives, too much sneaking around in my business. Maybe it's paranoia, haha. Being a Scorpio I know how we can be at our worst so I guess I just stay away from others. IP: Logged |

I'm a gem sun, pisces moon, sag rising, with lots of taurus in my chart (merc, venus, Mars, chiron) My statements below are generalizations but it goes without saying there are other placements that influence things, and all the moons can act differently than I perceive them..I like pretty much all the moons, though Cancer has to have some Saturn or Capricorn in there somewhere for me to trust them. I Can't deal with them when they are constantly irresponsible and completely in impulsive child mode 24-7. I really like the Cancer moon best when it is conjunct Saturn and they have developed it, they feel like true nurturers then, otherwise they just seem like petty babies to me and can't get around their own emotions and don't have a lot of integrity or ethics. I'm really starting to like my own moon sign (pisces) a great deal, I think it's a gift. I used to look at it negatively but not anymore, and I enjoy talking to people with Pisces influence most of all because it feels good to be able to connect with their compassion and to "Feel" connected in general. Of course pisces energy can be pretty deadly when it's unhealthy too. I like the earth moons, but I find Virgo and Capricorn a bit too detached/practical emotionally for my tastes when I want to connect emotionally or express my feelings, though I do like how the earth signs express nurturing by taking care of your physical wellbeing. They often give you criticism or practical application which can demotivate you when you just want someone to empathize and listen. I like how dependable and trustworthy they usually are. There are different things I like about each moon sign. The fire moons can be fun but exhaust me sometimes. Especially when Leo wants to talk and express and get your sole attention and doesn't care/observe what you're in the middle of or how you feel, then gets mad and burns you when you stop them. I don't like the fire moons tendancy to vent anger outwardly on people, but I do like the sense of adventure. I get along with air moons mentally, but emotionally I can't connect with them and I miss that emotional connection in close relationships. I like the fact that they (and the earth moons) can be reasoned with for the most part in an emotionally heated situation, unlike a lot of the fire and water moons. I'm really drawn to aq moons, but scared of their emotional detachment at the same time, though I am pretty independant myself, emotionally I am tender and want to connect. I've had really bad experiences with Scorpio moons though (especially when with water suns) - can be very manipulative and mean spirited at times. If they have a fire sun like Sag or Leo it can make them more open and honest and defuse their danger level, but I just don't trust them otherwise. IP: Logged |

-Virgo Moons - Kind, considerate, helpful, and caring.-Cancer & Pisces - I have a Pisces moon, so I know what the faults are, but I generally get along well with other lunar Pisces. Both Cancer & Pisces are deep, understanding, and compassionate...wouldn't hurt a fly. -Scorpio moons are 50/50. They are sexy with a capital "S," but they can be very erratic, emotionally closed off and sometimes seem very untrustworthy. I get along great with fire suns, but the moons can be tricky for me. It seems like they have a hidden rage...almost like a time bomb just waiting to detonate. I think their tempers are far worse than fire suns. It's A LOT worse too when their sun is in a water sign...emotion + fury = SCARY! In general, I have a soft spot for my fellow mud people...earth/water & water/earth combos. They're the best!!! Lake Dance,my boyfriend has that combo (sun scorpio/moon pisces) and it is hard to imagine that he is a Scorpio.....except when he's mad. But even when he's mad, he rarely ever displays a horrible temper but the atmosphere can be so thick that you can cut it with a knife. He's pretty easygoing and very even-tempered.....he NEVER makes me feel as if I'm walking on eggshells with him. Well, it seems that everyone is doing their least favorite. In my case its definitely Leo Mooners. Oh my God, they are all so damn over-the-top. Both the men and women are divas who want attention for themselves 24/7.

Virgo moons *are* kind and considerate, (I like virgo a lot in general) they just have a different way of expressing that than a water sign might. What I meant by detachment was that when I'm expressing water, they aren't. Talking about feelings in general can make them uncomfortable (and me as well) depending on who it is. I don't get emotional satisfaction or connection in the same way with virgo or cappie moons, as I do some water signs, but I do enjoy them. The Scorpio Suns with Pisces moons that I've known have seem much nicer and more compassionate than your run-of-the-mill Scorpio. She seemed sweet and gave off that spacey pisces vulnerability but when it came down to it was nobody's fool. I think the Scorpio helps out with a lot of the nebulousness of the Pisces moon. Xodian, your a Leo mooner? I wouldn't have guessed. I thought the only thing you had there was the Ascendant......even that is not really recognizeable in you. I should've made it clear that I was speaking of my experiences of an aunt and the dozen other people I've come across with leo moons. They loved drama wayyyy too much, life is like one big movie to them. Then there's the over-the-topness...*edited to add*in terms of their temper, being the center of everything, etc. Subtlety is not even in their dictionary. Sorry, just not something a neurotic virgo mooner wants to deal with.
quote: don't get emotional satisfaction or connection in the same way with virgo or cappie moons
Oh, sorry about that. Yeah, those two moon placements are tough to deal with...especially if you happen to be an emotional watersign because then you are not comfortable with expressing the vast sea of emotions you have. I can imagine we are hard for watermooners to deal with sometimes. IP: Logged |
