Oh, sorry about that. Yeah, those two moon placements are tough to deal with...especially if you happen to be an emotional watersign because then you are not comfortable with expressing the vast sea of emotions you have. I can imagine we are hard for watermooners to deal with sometimes.

No need to apologize, it's not your fault. (or any virgo or cappy moon for that matter)

Yeah, I guess the thing is I just don't get an emotional understanding from them, and that's kinda tough in relationships (friends or otherwise), but I'm sure they might have the same problem with me or consider me too watery and sensitive. You hit the nail on the head when you said we water moons have problems expressing the water. Water signs (Atleast Cancer and Pisces) tend to understand this and are very encouraging of my emotional expression (if they are healthy) which helps a great deal. That understanding is very important for me, though I have learned to cope with not receiving that and adapt. The more I accept myself though the more I get people drawn around me who accept me also, so it all works out.

I'm going to be totally biased, sorry!!!

Moon in Cancer - my son! A very warm and soppy moon! Moody, but intrinsically good, kind and caring!!!

Moon in Pisces - my OH! Again - a soppy moon! Also very kind and compassionate, if a bit naive!!!

Moon in Capricorn - I love them! Dry, witty - true strong characters, with every passing year!!!

An honourable mention, for my own Moon in Aquarius - blimmin' crackheads!!!! And also for Moon in Scorpio - They can truly be the best folk in the world, when they're not scaring the **** out of me, lol!!!

Don't really have a least favourite, but haven't really experienced enough Moon in Aries folk to be impressed with them yet!!! No offense, I hope!!!!!

I wanted to address the last couple of posts that Neon put up. I agree completely, that it is very difficult for water moons to express that watery side of themselves (unless of course their sun is in a water sign). I feel completely out of sync with myself a lot. What's going on inside is rarely EVER shown on the outside. I just can't seem to get the two to connect. But this also explains why I'm drawn to water suns...they can easily express what I'm thinking and feeling, so I always feel in touch with them.

Strangely enough, even though my sun is in Cap, I find a lot of lunar Caps can be too cold and callous sometimes for my taste.

The Moon expresses itself much differently than Sun Sign or ascendant.
It's more of an inner realm...feelings,subconsciousness, psyche. The quiet dreams you hold inside. What inspires your life and feeds your Soul.

Not all Leo Moons like to be center stage or need attention. You're more apt to find this trait in Leo Suns or Leo ascendants, than a Leo Moon on its own, without other Leo in the chart. Leo Moons are more likely to express their drama, romance, creativity and generousity of heart in more intimate ways than in an outward aggresive thrust to the world. It's not an obvious projection, it's more subdued.

As far as dramaticism....is there something wrong with that?

I love it.
Intensity,Amore, Passion, Life is Drama, Life is Art, felt to the fullest depths and heights!

A Leo Moon cannot be indifferent or apathetic and because so, often has a sad struggle with accepting apathy or uncaring in the world or from others, especially those they care for.

Clint Eastwood, Barbara Streisand, David Bowie, Kris Kristofferson, Jane Fonda~ they all have Leo Moons, but would you consider them egocentric or saying, "look at me! Look at me!"?
There is a quiet confidence about them, but not egocentricity.
You can definately sense a quiet pride and honor...but it's not an egocentric or shallow pride. They don't clamor for attention. You get a sense that they are in the limelight, because they are truly inspired to express their art. Not that they don't enjoy adoration. It's just not the force motivating them.

As for favorite Moon placements...I sincerely don't have favorites. I've sensed some beauty in all of them, in different ways. Even air Moons, whose detatchment I have a difficulty sometimes understanding, I've learnt a lot from them. The challenge of contrasting energies actually serves to calm me and help me look at things more objectively.

Neon,

You hit the nail on the head when you said we water moons have problems expressing the water.

When I made that statement I was really speaking of earth mooners (particularly Virgo and Cappy) who happen have Watersuns. Its really a hard combo because we are not comfortable expressing our watery egos (suns).

However, I believe it can also be applied to water moons, especially if the water mooner happens to be a guy. And you think it can be applied to water moons too, then great! I don't believe society embraces our watery emotional sides so life can be a cold biatch to us.

FWIW, I think society doesn't embrace earth signs either. I think there is a lot of misunderstanding with the more receptive earth/water traits.

Xodian, your a Leo mooner? I wouldn't have guessed. I thought the only thing you had there was the Ascendant......even that is not really recognizeable in you.

Lol! Well that would be because you haven't met me outside of the froum . I actually prefer to be around people with fiery personalities to be honest. Such people IMO have enough confidence in themselves to know who and what they are and as such wouldn't be defered by other's judegemtn upon them.

To quote Lialei (BTW Lialei, you nailed it perfectly

BTW... that confidence does gets people burned to the point that they will apologize just to stick it to ya Lol!

Here's another observation I've made...New Moon people can be very difficult to deal with. They don't have any hidden agendas, and what they say is EXACTLY what they mean, but wow, they can be very selfish, stubborn, and aggressive no matter WHAT the sign is. I think more so than any of the other combos out there.

How sad, and how true. It's something I'll never understand, I'm afraid. Apathy..that is.

Hehehe... I don't think I'm as worried about the paparazzi as much as Big Brother---he's watching me, I tell you, watching meeeee!! (That's a Leo Moon being heavily monitored by Pluto.) Well no, on a serious note, learning the art of emotional detachment is definitely one of my biggest life's lessons... hence, the Aqua love...

Nice take on us solar loonies, Lialei.

Also, I could swear... I do all of my heaviest, most melodramatic emoting online. The real person is as blank, inert, and curiously rosy-cheeked as a doll.

Surprising how many people name Pisces as their fave.....

Lake Dance, are you going to tabulate these results for fun??

Trust me... I tried to supress that little diddy from spreading Lol! Long story short it was a out-of-the blue remark by the member Pac_NW...

quote:
PacNW_CE: "Dude, Cat is one hot looking chick.

(Must find more beer....now.)"

Which leads me to believe that he was drunk when he wrote that Lol! Silly Sagitariun. Whats worse, just like a typical Sagi, his apology ended up doing more damage than good.

But we just all laughed it off. But that little thread would be a very good example of what happens when you throw a whole bunch of fire/air signs in the same room Lol! All fun and games and a few broken egos.

Yeah I will admit, being around those people is good for a laugh sometime. Although IMO in the context of astrology, air mellows out fire ALOT (thank God). I know 2 Leos with Gemini and Libra moons and I've never met mellower folks. I'm thinking of rooming with one next year.

What's everyone's opinion on Full Mooners?I personally feel like I'm always on an emotional pendulum...swinging back and forth between Scorpio Moon intensity and Taurus Sun practicality...

So far we've got Scorpio and Pisces moon at Number 1 (17)

Aqua and Taurus share 2nd place (13)

3) Sagittarius (10)
4) Cancer and Virgo (8)
5) Aries, Leo and Capricorn (7)
6) Libra (4)
7) Gemini (3)

What is going on here? We don't like airy moons? Aquarious is well-liked though...

Interesting!

Many of my good friends are Libra Moons

My Mom's a Gemini Moon and my sister is a Libra Moon.

I was going to vote Gemini but I haven't known enough Gemini moons to really cast it. And idk about Libra moons too much. I don't dislike them but I'm not crazy either.

I like:

Aquarius
Libra
Saggitarius
Capricorn

In any order!

That's the moons of my best friends. Me myself, I'm a cancer moon. I like having my moon in cancer, but sometimes I just find myself trapped in an emotional mess.

ooh, I just adore my friends!<3 Always had a way of understanding and misunderstanding with the libra moon though. All our argues are due to misunderstandings! And we've went from being should I say *enemies* - to close friends<3. the misunderstanding/ understanding part might have more to do with our sun signs though... I think I've read something about it:/. She's a cappy and I'm an aqua.

awwww, that was so beautiful what you said about lunar cancer's, Lake Dance! It made me feel good inside since i'm a cancer moon!
I hope that is how others see me.

My favorites would have to be:
Cancer- Have to admit, others that I know have such a caring nature about them and they have that wacky moon humor that I love so much.
Gemini- Crazy wacky moon's humor and spontaneity is what I love so much about this sign.
Libra- Talkative, charming and witty. I admire all of them.
