Seriously, I hate when Capricorn tend to be a meaning of "money".
I'm a Cappy Venus, and I'm not a goldigger as legend says about this placement.
Extremely serious in relationships, if someone cheats, is totally shut out of my live. I can be celibate or single for many years if that means the top noch man who deserves being with me is waiting on the horizon.

You know babies, top noch or NOTHING!

0º Cappy Venus in XI house, conjunct Saggy Sun in house X, conjunct Cappy Venus, South Node in Cappy too. Even my Ceres is conjunct Venus.

That's why if I love someone, I will cook for him as if I was her mother.

i have venus in cap 1 degree and i agree!!!
i am attracted to men of power, authority, and ambition.
I honestly dont even want to be in a relationship until I feel financially secure with myself. If it happens, awesome! But I am most certainly not looking for someone to increase my "value"...

As a Cap Sun, Merc, and Mars with some important Saturn aspects going on, I can tell you that a Venus in Cap is one of the best Venus signs to fall in love with. I mean, if Venus is positively aspected in their chart and there are no harsh Moon/Mars/Pluto aspects, then you'll get somebody that's really stable, loyal, and most of all DEDICATED. It won't be like a service-oriented kind of devotion like in Virgo, but it'll be the person that you one day look at and go "how did we survive for the past 15 years?" And they'd go "because I love you and will no matter what." They'll provide you with comfort, safety, a sense of security. They'll take care of you, make sure you have everything you need.

The downside is that they won't be expressive with their feelings for you, they might not have a romantic bone in their body, they won't do flowers/opening doors/dinners/love notes, they might even go a while without reminding you that they love you.

But the best part is... they're still there. And they'll always be there. And that's how you know you're the one.

@Hermathena

That is a very heartfelt description. I'm starting to see this in my BF. It is explained beautifully.

If he feels you are in it for the long haul, this definitely will unfold and perhaps reveal his romantic side from time to time. Otherwise, if he see you are not devoted as he is, it speaks otherwise.

Much will depend on the person's Venus aspects & the chart as a whole, but I'd say the common denominator with Venus in Cap is that they're sincere & prefer monogamous, long-term relationships. They're also cautious about entering into a new relationship, but if they are beginning one with you, rest assured that they already care very much about you. I guess you could say that Venus in Caps show their love in a relationship by being in the relationship!

Most Venus in Caps value romantic relationships that have substance to them. We're not looking for flings, friends with benefits, casual dating...we want a connection that is genuine & will last. Since we know we want something deep while most people want someting lighter, we're very cautious about showing our interest until we're pretty certain that the other person wants the same type of relationship we do. So, while many people start seeing someone because of an initial attraction & then develop feelings for the other person during the course of the relationship, many Venus in Caps have developed deep feelings for the other person before they even are interested in starting the romantic relationship. That's what I meant by a Venus in Cap showing her feelings by being in the relationship. She wouldn't have started it if she didn't care about you very much already.

Once in the relationship, I think the rest of a person's chart & her Venus aspects will shape how she shows her love. I have Venus trine Jupiter & Mars, so love goes hand in hand with playfulness and physical affection. The person you asked about may have his/her Venus harmoniously aspecting (sextile) Mars and his asc. This would make the person's loving nature comfortably linked with physical expression.

Venus in Cap will show her love by being dependable. This placement will bring a subtlety &, as mcm said, economy to the person's romantic nature. But I also think that a relationship with a Venus in Cap becomes more romantic the longer it lasts. You know how they say that people with a strong Cap influence seem to become younger with age, that they start out serious & loosen up over time? I think most Venus in Caps enjoy romance but like it to be genuine, the gestures should be made b/c the feelings are real & already exist. This is different from too much romance at the beginning, which to Venus in Caps may seem phony.

Oh, and we like gifts. Giving & getting. But, like everything else, not too much too soon or it seems superficial or like there's an ulterior motive to us. When I'm really into someone (I'm like this with my friends too), I like to give gifts, usually something that has a special meaning for us or something I made.

perfectly stated ! wonderful!

I don't think its Venus that is responsible for the expression of love. But the Moon.

Venus is more about how we flirt and what our ideals are when it comes to love, what we find beautiful, what arouses us (together with Mars).

Venus in Cap typically likes discretion and self control. They are not "sweep me off my feet" types. But do respond ardently to sincerity more than "romance".

Moon in Cap interprets love in ways that are tangible. So if u are dating one, you will notice that they impress you by showing you how smart, resourceful, sensible and dependable they are.

So they will show you their affections by doing very real tangible stuff for you i.e they would rather pay your water and lights bill for the whole year than getting you an expensive watch or necklace that costs just as much.

If they don't have cash at their disposal, they would rather paint your mother's house or assist domestically than sex you up in bed the whole day.

Often Cap wants to look back upon a relationship with someone and say "this is what I did to show I care"

To Capricorn words are cheap, action speaks volumes. Not the short lived action of Aries that yields "flash in the pan" results. But an action that yields very worthwhile,long-term and even permanent results.

To Cap Moon, you forget the lover who could give u amazing hugs. Hugs cannot be stretched to warm your heart for the rest of your days.

But you will never forget the lover whom paid for your Mom's gastric bypass surgery that rapidly helped her live a more fulfilling life.

With Cap, its not about sentiment. Its about long term value.

I must however add that these tokens of affection decrease tremendously after marriage.

Post marriage or in a long term relationship, Cap(barring other factors) becomes increasingly inhibited and restricted in showing affection.

The relationship may feel more like a business arrangement than a relationship. And that is why Moon is in its detriment in Cap- as this mate can have the married life feel cold.

Venus in Cap however can find such a setting tolerable. So long as both "business partners" fulfill duties equally. Juno in Cap too.

Cap can easily forego fairytale endings that are the stuff of dreams for real tangible security of marriage/partnership with someone whom they may not necessarily "love", but does make life easier for them

Well that is until a Cancer/Taurus comes along and makes them believe ardently in the possibility of " happily ever after". Then all bets are off

I know for me verbal expressions of love are very hard for me to say so I tend to show my care by being available or through affection (that could be my venus in taurus speaking). But I know that I am very affected by rejection.

Would this be similar to Venus square Saturn? Since Capricorn is ruled by Saturn?

Since Capricorn is about responsibility (and other things), I wonder that in Venus is filters as: being and acting responsible when wanting to attract the affection of the beloved (Venus).

So, for the characteristic "responsible", this can manifest outwardly, as in - exuding a sense that they are a responsible citizen and person. Which can obviously be done by status signaling too. They will make it known that they are the sensible and responsible ones in a/the group.

And, internally, or intimately, when in the act of exchanging love it can manifest as implementing a sense of responsibility into that interaction in the area of things Venus. They will be "responsible" and cautious with the other person's feelings (Venus). They will consider the other person's feelings and be almost paternal (Saturn) about that person's feelings and state of well being. The will act like they will be responsible with love and the exchange of love. They will exchange and negotiate love by not being random, unreliable, or unpredictable.

They will want to appear as a viable and sensible option for love (Lol).

What about all these Cappy Venuses here because of the Saturn transit in its own sign?.

In my case I'm having the transit in my Cap stellium 11th house involving Venus, South Node, Ceres and Mercury all conjuncted natal Sun and Neptune so I have had several awakenings and lessons regarding love and friendship.

A bit karmic, a bit hard, but always try to wellcome Saturn lessons in my life.

Pluto's transiting too so that makes things doubly... *ahem*... "interesting"...

My Venus is 26 degrees in Capricorn so I've got both coming up - I already got divorced under Saturn's transit so God only knows what other "lessons" and "transformations" he and Pluto might have lined up!

Just hoping I get a bit more of the constructive side to Saturn, given he's Cap's ruler.
