step 1 . what do u feel about him ?
u dont use astrology to know he is ur soulmate or twinsoul. u will just know thart and study ur charts to find thew possibilities. dont let astrology govern ur decisions.
step 2. i assume u know the basic synastry stuff. like aspects ? conj, opp, trines, sextiles etc.

Rule 2:
There has to be atleast one exact conjunction or trine of Sun, Moon, Venus, Mars, Saturn, Pluto, Karma with the other's Sun, Moon, Venus, Mars, Saturn, Pluto, Karma.

If Rule 1 and Rule 2 both are true, then we can proceed to find double whammies or links for several other asteroids and we can include Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, Nessus, Pholus and Chiron in the calculations.
Best Asteroids to be used:
Karma, Valentine, Eros, Psyche, Amor, Isis, Osiris, Siva, Kaali, Union, Juno and Ceres .

The more the trines and sextiles subsequently, the happier the soul mate relationship is likely to be.

Simple rule, just give plus 2 for every conjunction and trine, plus 1 for every sextile and minus one for every square or opposition. Include the points for Rule one and two.
Give yourself a plus 5 for every double whammy irrespective of square/opposition.
Use only 2 degree orbs.

If you score over 30 points, there is a tremendous happy soul mate potential.

20-30 points means definitely worth exploring the relationship.

Below 20, create the Draconic Chart and see if you can get 7 points from Draconic A to Chart B or Draconic B to Chart A. If not, then it is not likely to be a worthwhile soul mate relationship.

If you dont have exact aspects on rule 1 you might see the dracos and see if fits the rules - for example me and my bf have sun conj ac and venus conj ac in sinastry but not in exact - even so, we do have on the dracos:

- my D.AC conj his NN in 0ºorb and his NN/karma Mid(3º)
-my D AC conj his D IC(3º)
- my D.AC sextiles his Karma(0º)
-my D AC skuare his Sun(3º)
-my D AC trines his D Moon(0º)
- my D AC trine his ERos/Psych Mid(0º)

-his D DSC trine my D.Osiris(1º) and my D POM(1º)
- his D DSC conj my Destiny(0º)
-his D DSC trine my NN(2º)
-his D AC conj my D Eros(0º)

Also in sinastry our NN´s are solstice(0º) and you can also look if some love asteroids make some sort of an emerging pattern (in our example its Union making several exact aspects both in natal as in dracos and sinastry)
