Topic: how are you preparing for the jupiter pluto conjunction?

For my preparation:I`ll be going on a concert on monday night.  And the Jupiter-Pluto-conjunction is conjunct my Sun and Mercury, so I guess I will feel its influence. The last Jupiter-Pluto-conjunction didn`t touch any of my biggies, but it was exactly conjunct my Valentine. And yeah, I remember that year very well. Not an easy one.
My dreams and hopes and also my spiritual side came into harsh contact with reality; actually it felt like a nuclear-clash. And oh, isn`t it interesting that Saturn has been exactly opposite his present placement.
In 1994 it was on 6° Pisces, this time it will be on 8° Virgo.
So it basically means, that like back then, Saturn is challenging my Mars-Neptune-NN-ASC-conjunction on 5° - 10° Sagittarius.
*deep sigh* It almost feels like the end of a cycle, that has started in 1994.

I guess this gives very (!) interesting clues to the upcoming conjunction. It didn’t come to my mind to check these former placements from 1994. In 1994 the Jupiter-Pluto-conjunct was closely conjunct to my AC (orb <1), opp. my DC – and in fact I CHANGED my pattern of relating to boys at that time – I left one boyfriend and started to feel interested in a whole new “type of guy” – felt quite alone at first, but also very strong and adventurous and “on the right track”. Currently I just entered a new important relationship again – after several years of leading a more or less happy single-life. Now the conjunction will touch my 2ndhouse/8thhouse-axis, that is: my “security needs” (I placed a whole thread on that ;-).) The SATURN-thing is interesting as well for me – Saturn now (and then) is placed closely to my NN/SN-axis (NN: 4°Pisces - SN: 4°Virgo, cj. my Venus). I'm not doing a thing to prepare for it. I'm just gonna sit down and relax and let life continue on. It has been a hard year for me, I'm still recovering from the Saturn-Saturn square and I'm still dealing with Pluto square Pluto. Jupiter may make it expand a bit - with what I'm dealing with in my life. This transit will be in my 7th square to my 4th/5th house Pluto......I'm not sure what to expect nor would I want to hazard a guess as to what may happen..... Jupiter conjuncts Pluto every 12 years but Pluto conjuncts Galactic Centre once every 268 years. The combination occurs once in 3000 years.I suggest sitting in quiet contemplation and visualizing violet beams of knowledge filtering through this mega-conjunction into our Pineal Gland for Galactic Level enlightenment in the days to come. Transiting Jupiter-Pluto in Sagittarius is in my 4th square Pluto in Libra in 1st. I have been thinking a lot about ancestral DNA and cytogenetic testing. I want to know more about my roots and where I come from,and so I am interested in ancestral DNA testing. I read about famous African Americans getting it done,and there were some intriguing,fascinating results. Being part black,I want to know more about my African heritage. Because I never knew my father,I want to know more about my ancestry in general..I want to see what kind of mixture do I have from including if I actually do have have some Nativa American like mom told me. Also I want to check the heritage from my mom's side because my mom never knew her mother, and I wonder if we have Jewish ancestry because my greatgrandmother's name seems to be Jewish. Because of my Dyslexia,Dyspraxia,and ADHD, I want to get cytogenetic testing done. I want to see if I have the chromosome and gene connections to Dyslexia and ADHD. There haven't been any genes and chromosomes found connected to Dyspraxia which also be highly inheritable like Dyslexia and ADHD.
Jeffrey Wolf Green says that Pluto rules DNA too.
With my Venus in Scorpio trine North Pluto Node in Cancer with 30 minutes of arc and trine North Jupiter Node in Cancer with 53 minutes and Mercury sextile South Pluto Node in Capricorn with 2 minutes of arc and sextile South Pluto Node in Capricorn with 20 minutes of arc, maybe I will benefit from Ancestral DNA and cytogenetic testing.

Hi!
The conjunction is almost exactly on my Imum Coeli. There is absolutely no pain expanding or something.  I feel rather relaxed.

The pluto/jupiter conjunction will happen tomorrow in my 1st house (my nJupiter is also in Sag) and conjunct my nSaturn in Cappie but by degrees, not sign. I am feeling something heavy happening, at work. It feels like the same old, same old and I am stepping back to see what I need to do (or not do). A co-worker is becoming heavy-handed (unnecessarily)...it feels like she is creating mountains out of molehills and IMHO, her problem. Well according to astro.com, it's happening exactly conjunct my ascendant exactly right now (I'm a day ahead of most of you). I've been looking forward to this day, but in fact it hasn't been a good day for me at all. I'm tired, I have a headache, my physiotherapy appointment wasn't all that good and I feel sore afterwards, and things just aren't going right. This transit is conjunct my ascendant, trining my sun and trining my MC... so why did I feel good yesterday but bad today?  Edit:
I must add that I'm sensing some extra strong energies for wishing/intentions today. I just said a prayer for something, didn't particularly put a lot of effort into it and I felt something very strong around my head, as though I had really taken the time to focus on directing my energies towards an intention. hey gemini lover,i know how you feel! everything feels more intense the last day or so.. it's funny cuz i, too, have a headache and i rarely get them! hmm.. sofar though i'm making the best of it. i did a LOT of great stretching stuff and listened to really great music loudly.. the *exact* conjunction isn't until tomorrow, but they're already the same degree, so i'm sure it counts! tomorrow i'm going to paint as much as humanly possible and also relax a lot too (i have trouble relaxing). i feel like it is pulling things into focus for me. it's also conjunct my venus (29 degrees). it is intense, but good! take care geminilover!  have a GREAT day!! Penny thornton says scorpios are bound to get a lot of money during this jupi-pluto fest. Plus love is sure to come along.
I am waiting for my knight in shining armour coming for me in a Porsche.
Most forecasts are predicting great things to happen. don't things happen gradually? I don't see any signs of life changing for the better any time soon.
How does astrology work then?

Well it's already conjunct but not *to the minute* so as far as I'm concerned, it counts. I know it just by the energies I'm sensing (I pick up energies usually in the third eye and crown chakras, sometimes around my body, and I can be quite sensitive to them) - there is definitely something strong happening. Saying a couple of prayers and wishes earlier, I noticed that the energy is, appropriately, both heavy and expansive.  I think what is happening is that my own energies are reflecting the astro energies - I tend not to like that kind of intensity when I experience energy movement even if it's my own energy, so I'll probably be treading lightly in terms of what I intentionally or unintentionally do and/or wish for. I hope your headache goes away - and mine too! I am hoping to be feeling awesome and expansively Jupiterian again soon like I was yesterday. Have a great day too! IP: Logged |

STRANGE. I had a headache this afternoon and evening too and rarely get them. It was differenct than I usually get when I do get them. I had an intense day. Really crappy in some respects. I had really b-tchy instructor be very rude to me and it's obvious we're gettting screwed on our grades after the original instructor had a heart attack a couple of weeks ago. I got a very bad vibe from this woman on sight and so far she's lived up to my expectation. She reminds me of a gym teacher I had once. I cringe at the thought of getting my grades tomorrow. Not sure when the new moon is...But, re headaches: my mother and sister are experiencing bad headaches today too. And they know nothing about this conjunction, so they have no expectations. Maybe the headaches are affecting those who are more likely to 'experience' the effects of this conjunction?? Edit: I just checked and indeed my mother and sister both have planets that are being aspected by this transit. For my sister it's opposite Venus, and within 10 degrees of her Neptune and trine her ASC. For my mother, it squares Mercury and Mars, and opposes Neptune. Should be trining her sun too, I think.

I've been feeling very upbeat and happy! I suddenly got a rush of energy today. Which is great since I have two huge finals to study for! Oh and the week preceding this week I've been all about growth, growth, growth! I've been trying to let go of doubt and fears and find concrete ways to become a happier, saner, me! Don't know if this has anything to do w/ the impending conjunction though... ------------------
