I don't know why I didn't experience the pressure build-up until today. It's so weird.

I just realised that my bf has an exact trine to his ASC, exact sextile to his DC, and opposition to his sun (within 3 degrees). He seems fine... and has no headache unlike me with the exact ASC conjunction and sun trine. His Jupiter is in Scorpio, maybe that makes this transit especially easy for him. lol

HI there. I could not sleep a wink last night- now I am at work so tired and can't get motivated yet! I seem to have a Pluto square Jupiter transit going on this week, is it the same one? Does this mean it will affect me negatively (NO!) I mean, come on I already have Neptune opp Saturn, Pluto square Pluto AND Mars, plus some ugly chiron transits to contend with! Yet I am trying my hardest to overcome all of this and find my joy in life and positivity cos I REFUSE to be miserable any more! Bring it on! (just as long as I don't lose my job or something cos Ive got little ones to feed)

Thanx Azalaksh for your reply about Saturn Return. I also read your entry about the aspects of Chiron. Unlike me I'd say you kno alot about the positions of planets. I just kno where they were when I was born. I'm a Leo - Scorpio rising, what are you?

Well, the reason I said that she's b-tchy is that she was so mean towards the elderly teacher who HAD the heart attack. She never missed an opportunity to laugh at her after she'd just had a heart attack and was facing surgery! It was a disgrace. The original teacher was a nice old lady who would work with you, give extra credit, whatever. The sub was constantly rolling her eyes when someone would mention her etc. and now instead of giving us a break she screwed us over by not counting our homework grade which means our grade will go down drastically since there were only 2 tests.

wow! i had such trouble sleeping too, and i feel the same sort of heavy-yet-expansive energy around me too..

i think setting the right intention and creating an appropriate mood is maybe the best way to deal with this energy since otherwise we could feel odd or afraid which can't be good. it might take a little more effort than usual, but would be well worth it?

maybe try to focus on the EXPANSE aspect of it and believe that pluto will provide the depth and thrust to fulfill the happy intentions that jupiter is providing the opportunity for!

i just found this:

___________________________

Jupiter/Pluto Conjunction, Part One:
Forget about silent nights—nothing is calm about the 2007 holiday season, and this week, the stars set the stage for a tempestuous finale to an already too intense year. Please forgive me if I sound dramatic, but I’m actually not exaggerating. December’s sky burns with Divine Fire. And its heat tempers activities, as well as attitudes. Consider this week and the coming weeks a purification ritual, a catharsis, personal and collective. But be aware, this cleansing is not only an intellectual process. The astral tumult brings deep feelings to the surface of daily life—and they won’t just sit there. Which means most of us will be searching for resolution, relief, and redemption from the red threads of persistent karmic themes. And don’t fool yourself into thinking you’re exempt. Hubris will only make matters worse. We are in the season of soul work, and the best tool for the task at hand is humility.
The source of this healing crisis is a Jupiter/Pluto conjunction, in Sagittarius, which is exact on December 11. This conjunction occurs at the end of Pluto’s cycle through Sagittarius and it will not happen again in Sagittarius until 2244, which makes its current effect all the more extraordinary. And because all of us have Sagittarius somewhere in our individual birth charts, each of us will feel the intensity of this conjunction somewhere in our lives.
Jupiter represents good fortune, expansion, and excess. It rules Sagittarius, which is the sign that signifies global communication, classical traditions from every culture, as well as belief systems, philosophic and religious. Pluto is the principle of transformation and represents the process of death and resurrection. When Pluto journeys through any Sign, it reveals the entire spectrum represented by that sign, including its gifts, as well as its challenges. And over the next several weeks, this column will focus on some of the specifics of Pluto’s cycle through Sagittarius and how they relate to current circumstances.
But for now, it’s enough to know that the conjunction of Jupiter and Pluto will magnify, electrify, amplify, and intensify just about everything, and that intensification is likely to translate into the need to act or react on impulse. While it won’t be easy to think before you speak, try. We are actually in the midst of a cosmic test on thirteen years of transformational work, and there are no multiple-choice answers. Because Sagittarius symbolizes the process of integration, one of the ways to gauge your grade is to contemplate how well you can walk your talk. Don’t expect a perfect score. Levels of anxiety many of us thought were long gone are likely to reappear, along with old flames or missed opportunities.
But don’t despair—this is a healing process. So give yourself permission to purify body, mind, heart, and soul. And when possible, give your fellow travelers the same permission. Remember, we’re all feeling the heat of December’s Divine Fire.

_______________________________

"THE JUPITER PLUTO CONJUNCTION
The conjunction of Pluto and Jupiter is exact on December 11, at 28 degrees 23 minutes Sagittarius. I wrote about the possibilities inherent in this aspect, in this sign, at the beginning of the year (see Sources of Inspiration for 2007) . This aspect is powerful for all of us and especially for people born December 18-22 or with ascendant, Moon, or other influential parts of the chart in the late degrees of Sagittarius.
It’s quick, mind you – this aspect happens fast. Jupiter is moving relatively fast and there are no retrogrades to give us a second and third look at this interesting conjunction. If you are prepared, this is a good time to try to hit whichever jackpot strikes your fancy. If you need an extra dose of luck to get something going, the middle of December is a good time to go for it, as long as you don’t go too far, that is! This aspect can also breed excess of the unhealthy kind. Mercury squares Uranus on the same day, so judgment may be impaired.
I see the recent mainstream collective appreciation of both Al Gore and His Holiness the Dalai Lama as indicative of the Jupiter Pluto in Sagittarius energies. This is a strong time for consciousness raising, and for everyone who works in this field to redouble their efforts, ask for help, get balls rolling, and stay focused on the goal. That, after all, is the most elevated use of the Sagittarian energy: the archer has his eye on the target, perfectly focused and in a state of calm, optimistic attention.
...........As you’ll have seen, the major planetary event in the last two months of the year is the Jupiter Pluto conjunction, which is supported and amplified by various milder inter-planetary relationships. Emotionally life will feel lighter, especially from Nov 22 on, but it will nonetheless feel pretty intense, because there is a heightened sense of possibility, and hopefully, a greater sense of purpose and understanding of right action.
A lot of this regards completions that will in time birth new beginnings: many of us are dealing with matters that kicked off at the eclipses earlier in the year, or the aftermath of the Saturn Neptune opposition, and there’s a lot of finishing up happening with both Jupiter and Pluto right at the tail end of Sagittarius.
Whatever you’re up to, be well, and have a great time over the next few weeks, especially December 9-12!"
November 26: Venus trines Neptune: a great aspect for lovers, romantics, artists and poets. Allow time for day-dreaming and night-dreaming.
December 9: New Moon in Sagittarius. This is a pretty spectacular chart. The Sun, Moon, Mercury, Jupiter and Pluto are all in Sagittarius. If you have Sag strong in your chart, this moon could kick off a powerful cycle for you, that may affect the rest of your life. It’s a once in a lifetime kinda deal here. Mercury squares both Saturn and Uranus, but with some space, so while it will be tense there will be enough time to do what you have to do if you plan well and keep breathing! Jupiter and Pluto are moving close to trine/sextile the Nodes, so some good news may peak its head above the parapet for the collective.
December 11: Jupiter Pluto conjunction (see above). Also, Mercury squares Uranus. There could be brilliance, but also errors of judgment. Take notes, whatever happens! And then immediately…..
December 12: Venus trines Mars (at 7 Scorpio/Cancer), Sun sextiles Neptune, Venus sextiles Saturn. This is a romantic, sexy, inspired and realistic combination. Definitely a great night for a date. Or better still, for a proposal.
This period from December 9 to 12 is probably the most interesting of the whole year. Don’t waste it slouched in front of the TV. Get out there and be part of this crazy world!

Today, Dec. 11th, the Federal Reserve will have an announcement on interest rates. They couldn't have picked a better day.
Let's hope the influence of Jupiter will bring us a sizable rate cut!

This would have an expansive effect on the US. economy.

I responded to an email my darling love sent me on Sunday. He's a Scorpio, and I'm an Aries. I have a hard time expressing how much I love him, because I'm uncomfortable with vulnerability. (Of course, isn't everyone at first?) I poured my heart out, and I'm looking forward to this precious seed growing into a mighty oak. Or more appropriately, as a northern Californian, into a mighty redwood. Ah, I ought to add an important side note: he lives 1,000 miles away, in my home state in the midwest.

Infinite blessings to everyone!

Also, to add to the statistic, my sister and I both slept awfully last night, our sleep ridden with nightmares.

Good luck, KF!

No matter what happens you can take solace in that you were true to yourself.

I haven't had anything weird happen (which, honestly, is unusual!)...aqua sun, ya know

well i went out and it was intense! just, the vibe in the air..

a weird thing happened. my wheel fell off my stroller and my daughter had just had a sleepy time tantrum and i'm standing there looking at this thing and i would have laughed except i was feeling crappy and i'm just standing there with NO clue what to do cuz from the look of this thing it was irrepairable, and this guy, within 2 minutes, walks up with a wrenchy thing and helps me fix it (and he says, "i knew i brought this with me today for a reason. i don't usually bring it with me.")! and we were in an alley, totally not a busy area!

so that was pretty cool. and then i realized, well, what i took from it was that it was better that it happened right at that moment than while we were walking up or down some hill (we live in the mountains), and at JUST the right moment for this guy to be walking by! so it was this total blessing that SEEMED like it was going to be crappy. totally a pluto-jupiter vibe.

but that was about all that really happened.

feeling over sensitive though and want to curl up in a ball and just relax for the rest of the day!

sounds like a lot of different experiences during this transit.
i am really new to learning about transits and had no idea what to expect.
but from reading all the descriptions (thank you to everyone who posted them) it sounds like a mixed bag. i actually slept well last night which is unusual and felt good this morning. and as the day wore on i wanted to crawl into a hole. feelings of paranoia and anxiety rose to an all time high after work - i just started a new job a few weeks ago and it is very diff. from what i am used to - and i can't help but develop feelings for a co-worker (he is the crazy guy in the office, the one that everyone laughs at - oh boy!) and i felt so transparent today i didn't know what to do....anyone else experience a lot of anxiety today that they just couldn't supress or think their way through and just relax and go with the flow?
i'm going to try to stay positive - but i did notice that quite a few of my friends had very intense emotionally charged reactions today. by the way - we all have stelliums in sag (generational placements - neptune, uranus and jupiter).

wow! I just realized.......I had all those planets around 26 degree of my Sag Asc.....which is funny because for the last three days.....I had been feeling quite emotional, sleepy, tired.

Yesterday, literally felt like I was in a bubble with heavy pressure in it.......when I walked it felt like I was walking in sand, my legs felt heavy , and my body felt extremely tired......I felt off somehow but not in a bad way.. I couldn't wait for my work day to be over.....yeah I also had dreams that night....restless mind.....alot of dreaming or thoughts

interesting but today I actually felt quite good.....alot of energy much different from yesterday...well except for my leg and back ache

Thanks so much for that info, heartcakes! It was so true for me...

YES I am experiencing a healing crisis emotionally and in my life in the past day or so, AND I am feeling the need to purify myself karmically and physically and also purify my entire environment and my life. So instead of the intensely happy feeling I was expecting from this transit, it's more about things rising to the surface and purging!!!!

* Pressure and stress has been coming to a peak for me
* My bf and I are arguing because he's having *several* temper tantrums out of nowhere
* The arguments and stress are getting me down and I am becoming aware of the heavy karma that I need to purify
* I got someone to do an energy cleanse on my home
* I have been spraying a space-clearing mist
* I have been invoking the violet flame to heal and purify myself
* I am experiencing a sudden increase in psychic/telepathic activity (could be that this transit is intensifying that aspect of my Scorpio moon)

Everything is super-intense and coming to a head!

I slept fine last night. I just didn't get enough sleep.

Today went alright. Tried a new cereal at breakfast, and it was good.

Work went fine. Had a month end meeting today. I work at a mortgage lender, so there was a strong reminder that we have to run lean, and be as productive as possible. Afterward I felt like going to my boss to talk about my progress on a project, because I didn't think that she realized how much I had done. That went well, and then I worked on a quick project that she was perplexed by. I think I was able to figure out the situation and resolve it.

I did buy a lottery ticket at lunch.

Thus far tonight I tried to help someone along with their business idea.

How have I felt? Kind of dull, which is somewhat usual when I don't get enough sleep.

it is so interesting that there seems to be some patterns here and that many of us are experiencing both the heaviness and the optimism of this transit.

ahh, like a dark cloud with a silver lining!
