Yep, a Libra here and man doesn't it really gets amusing as to how big of a contradiction this world is? I mean here we are in an astrology based forum where most people pride themselves at equal views and anti-prejudicial outcomes yet the stereotypes just don't die down one way or another. Ironic ain't it?

Yes, Gems are known for lying, more than most signs.
It is due to the elusiveness of air and mutable signs,
as well as the capriciousness characteristic of Gems.
They say things sometimes just to see what will happen.
They play devil's advocate a lot, for the intellectual fun of it,
and do not often admit, even to themselves, that they are playing.
Say what you will, get offended if you like,
but this is what the vast majority of professional astrologers have to say.

And, yes, Libras can be weak-willed and easily led.
The sign of Aries is in their shadow,
and it is a sign of willfulness and independent action.
This is also to be found in many in-depth astrological writings.
Its not an emotional call,
its just an honest look at your shadow, Libras.

And, yes, astrology is the study of "stereotypes",
but, we prefer to call them "archetypes".
Exceptions dont disprove rules.

And, for the record, I love Libras.
I think their pros far outweigh their cons.
God bless their talent for seeing all sides,
for mediating in the name of peace,
for judging mercifully but effectively,
and for bringing so much love and beauty into the world.
