writesomething unregistered	posted January 04, 2008 01:35 AM its funny i saw NO venus/uranus aspects in the natals of the gay men, but i think thats more likely in lesbians for some reason. its different for a man. i think ellen degrenedes(sp?) is an aquarian with venus square uranus. angelina jolie has the square as well. shes been known for her bisexuality. its strange but maybe because men dont own up to their venus so when theres a strong venus influence(moon) it explains things a bit. And actually the forum discussions are what you make of em. I don't see a heavy hetero-environment but rather a lack of homosexual related topics on astrology . I guess there isn't much written about homosexual behvior between signs unless we bring into account Libras, Scorpios, Geminis and Pisces. I think I recommended a book to another homosexual member on this forum. Its alled "Sextrology," and it gives a vivid idea about a homosexual person's behavior as it relates to their sun-sign. BTW: Uranus Opps. Venus indicates a longing for a one true mate who understands a person beyond the obvious and that doesn't necessarily accounts for homosexual tendencies. IP: Logged

I read that one person's Uranus opposite another's Venus suggests homosexual attraction between them...I've experienced this with another woman before. IP: Logged

Then again, can one even lable an answer given back on partnership strictly for straight people? (unless offcourse the person clearly indicates it is so.) Behaviorism in relationships still comes down the basic defination of partnership and mutual benifits. Thus one cannot simply call an analysis of a chart straight or gay related unless specifically indicated it is so. IP: Logged

It is a water/feminine sign yet it is influenced greatly by Martian Energy. That is why Scorpio females have a tendency to be a bit bi-sexual and Sapphic. Where as Libra being a masculine sign has an altered influence from Venus and thus it gives this sign a feminine touch. So that is why Libra men tend to have an overall gay-friendly attitude (unless we take into account other factors.) All is not black and white BLKFOX . There will always be variables. IP: Logged

I share this with a gay singer, that I have been attracted to a LOT, even though from his perspective I definitely have the wrong gender. lol However, His Venus falls onto my 5th house cusp and is opposite my Uranus on my 11th house cusp, and I have been drawn to him like a moth to the flame (There are other goodies like Venus trine Pluto; Mars square Pluto; a Venus-Pluto-conjunction in the draconics and some more), and I think it might have to do with this aspect. Well, I don`t think I`m lesbian, but through him I learned a lesson in acceptance and tolerance and I learned that tolerance is not the same as being just "indifferent", but actually as beeing "accepting", which is not the same. It`s hard to explain. Even funnier than that, I`ve always been only a face in the crowd for him, but the last two times I saw him I had the very strong impression that he kinda "noticed" me there in the crowd, some sort of recognition. Which is highly unlikely, for I haven`t spoken to him, we don`t know each other. So if he really "noticed" me, then I think it might have to do with the fact that my Uranus is opposing his Venus. Or maybe it`s the fact that my Moon is in Aquarius and conjunct my progressed Mercury, Venus and Antivertex, and all these planets are conjunct his natal SN. So, even on a sign-basis, there is some Urananian / Aquarius-vibe between us. With the other singer I adore very much, I also have Uranian-synastry with. His Uranus squares my Sun and Mercury, while my Uranus sextiles his Sun and opposes his Moon (his Moon is at the end of my 4th house, only 3� from my 5th house cusp away). There`s something about those end-Aries/ Taurus-cusp and end- Libra / Scorpio-cusp Moons and Venus-position that I find just irresistible. Many actors I find "interesting" have that late Libra-early Scorpio-placements; for example: Gerry Butler: Venus in early Scorpio Jude Law: Moon in late Libra Orlando Bloom: Moon in early Scorpio Alexander Siddig: Moon in early Scorpio singer P: Venus in early Taurus singer A: Moon in late Aries And I think it might have to do with the fact that they trigger my Uranus, waking it up so to speak. One of the people replied recommended him a book that had a section on gay relationships. That's all my memory stretches too, sorry. Though I get the relevance that he must have felt that some of the hetero cookbook imagery is not helpful, e.g woman's Venus opposite man's Mars etc. IP: Logged

MEN: Sun Squared or opposing their Uranus. ME, personally.. Moon in Pisces/ Uranus in LIbra.
