I don't understand why it's off-limits to talk about the dysfunctional way a sign can be expressed.  It's not like anyone is saying that if you're a Pisces, you're not a compassionate person. At least, I'm not. I'm saying that
if you're a Pisces
+
you're a rotten person
then the victim mentality coupled with deliberate emotional cruelty toward others is a likely manifestation. Why deny that there are some horrible people out there and that some of them are Pisces? I don't know. I just don't see the point in ignoring a sign's dysfunctional expression. Discussing that in no way means that every person of that sign ever behaves in that way. And people not of that sun sign can obviously be like that too. Maybe this thread felt too bullying since it only focused on the negatives? But that was the point of the thread, to talk about something negative, the way people of the sign most associated with compassion can lack that trait and why that may be the case. An unkind Pisces is my idea of hell, but a good Pisces is my idea of heaven: understanding, imaginative, warm, and accepting. There's so much I love about Pisces. Every man I've been in love with or had strong romantic feelings for has had Pisces or Neptune strong in his chart. It's the sign, when expressed well, that I feel the most cozy with. For me, (the kind) Pisces make life a less lonely place and I've always loved them for that. IP: Logged |

Hi, Jane,
I remember, you are Saggitarius Sun, right?
You know, it's okay to speak about different sides of people, signs, etc, but if you concentrate too much on negative, this negative will catch and block you. So I think, the best way is to concentrate on the positive things. 
On the other hand, I don't find here any constructive critique on Pisces. There are funny stories, they are okay, but that's all.

Hey Jan. Well, I personally found the contradiction interesting--a sensitive sign being so hurtful--and was genuinely interested in understanding why and how that contradiction can come about. But sometimes I'm almost embarrassingly earnest. Maybe my own intentions made me less perceptive of others just looking to bash a sign. IP: Logged |
