Lana, it sounds to me like Nemesis contacts might show if the current life connection includes a karmic purpose along the lines of 'revenge', though I hesitate to use that word. But I think most charts involving people we are closely associated with (and perhaps who are in our soul family) would have some Nemesis contacts with us, don't you? It need not be as dark as the word 'revenge' implies. Perhaps we can research this - see if there are a lot of Nemesis contacts with folks we have strong bonds of love with - starting with family. Then we could check it with people who have hurt us or who we've hurt, unintentionally or even intentionally - it might be stronger there.

NOw you've got me thinking.. perhaps the Psyche person is more in tune to the other when the Sun/Moon person is expressing that side. With my Psyche/his Moon, I tap into his emotions. With his Psyche/my Sun, I don't know how that works.. I just know that he seems to dig my Capricornian side and I have plenty of it (stellium in Cappy), lol!

What can you communicate with each other about? Do you transmit thoughts, feelings or images? I'm so fascinated by this!

u have a lot of IC, aspects, that measn u ahev been family too in a previous life. karma sqr sun. emans he was a male figure, father or brother but the sqr means...well u know
just apply the same to all aspects and u learn, thats how i did.

also

his karma conjunct ur DC, he has a contract to be ur other, husband or lover is upto you.

his chiron conjunct ur IC, well u HAVE hurt him....

ur south node conjunct his IC, IMO u have def shared a HOME.. as spouses or parent -child, but def thats a Family karma u have there.

sunshine9, excellent advice about Nemesis and family relations. It gave me a whole new perspective and it seems to work. I checked the aspects of my, my sister's and my mother's Nemesis, and it's really amazing how right you were in our case.

I think we could say that Nemesis is about balance/justice (to replace the word 'revenge'). Those closest to us keep us in check, so to say.

With my man, my Nemesis opposes his Venus and conjuncts his Pluto (0 orb) and his Nemesis conjuncts my Jupiter (0 orb). A heavy asteroid and a strong tie.

I won't be posting for a while...going out of town today. Just wanted to answer this one. Here's how it seems to operate...

If he's entering a room or anywhere even close, I can "feel" his presence approaching. It's like a "knowing" that isn't exactly a feeling or a thought. It's different than anything else I've experienced, so it's hard to define.

He doesn't read my minute to minute thoughts, but if I want to "say" something, I can actually think the words to him and he hears them.

It seems to me that it's the Psyche/Sun link, although I'm sure there are other astrological indicators. Not sure why I can feel he's around.

We definitely had an instant rapport when we met, and it was like we were just reconnecting rather than meeting for the first time (all our IC and South Node aspects)! He seemed to need no time understanding what makes me tick, and went quickly to being my best friend (I was unaware of vibes under the surface because I was not thinking seriously about getting into a relationship, but he had wanted more from the beginning). My Venus conjuncts his South Node (2), which hints at past life love relationship, so I feel that this was awakened when we met..

Within a few months, when I was unsure about us (obstacles, family circumstances, my own fears), he told me he had fallen head over heels for me, and he wouldn't let me walk out of his life as I was the woman of his dreams (Parvati aspects?) and he had dreams of us married with a family of our own someday..

Throughout our relationship, I've seen that we are so much better together than apart, and actually heal better when we are together (all those Chiron aspects). I think we have a lot of karma to experience together, because we have gotten back together under unusual circumstances despite several obstacles, and at least one of us always has the fighting spirit and conviction to not give up on the other even during tough periods, which has carried us through. I do believe his Karma on my DC is a potent tie - his name asteroid in my chart incidentally conjuncts my DC/his Karma too!

I used to worry about my Venus conjuncting his South Node because I hoped he would not outgrow the relationship once that draw wore off.. but after 7 years of us still feeling strongly about each other (even through long absences), I feel there is more to it than that. And I see all these North Node aspects we share as well, which hopefully means our relationship holds a lot of potential for soul growth in the future and is not just a vehicle for experiencing past karma..

The Psyche/Moon and Psyche/Sun aspects have also helped us quite a bit. Our Mercuries square one another so we're prone at times to not understanding what the other said in the right sense, but there is another level of communication in our relationship that occurs quite silently - we could be talking one thing but understanding what was intuitively communicated in place of the spoken! We have an intuitive sense of what the other is going through, and increases our empathy for each other. I believe the Telephus aspects also help this greatly.

Lately, I've had to work a bit harder at this as my love has been going through a rough time, but I'm now seeing visions of a future with him, of us having our own family, and I will never give up on this man who has taught me how to love unconditionally, and about having faith in Love...

I'm glad you were able to verify the Nemesis aspects with your mother's & sister's charts, and that it makes sense! I need to look this up in my mother's as well.. (we lock horns oftentimes, my Cappy horns with her Taurean ones, lol!) I'm a bit scared to look at this asteroid in the synastry chart with my love, because during this rough patch with him (thanks to Mercury being retrograde now, but also, I guess to our tough transits), I'm grasping for all the positives I can find to keep me going strong!! Hopefully, when things get back on track..

The tie you have between your Nemesis & your guy's Pluto sounds like you're meant to transform him in a potent way, while his effect on you will be very positive, received well by you..

I think I understand a bit better how the Psyche-Sun connection works. The Sun is how an individual presents himself/herself to the world at the most basic level, so the Psyche gives you an intuitive understanding of that aspect of him without needing any explanations.. also figures that you sense his 'presence' nearby. It's cool he can sense what you're transmitting to him - I've gotta try that!!

I can sense my Pisces' presence too - it was funny, but every time he happened near the room I was working in today, I could sense him (without having seen him), and thought of this Psyche-Sun discussion, lol! This is probably another reason he always "gets" me even if I don't even think I'm making much sense (when i'm extremely tired & my words come out garbled). He can complete my sentences or thoughts sometimes, and it's amazing how he can clue in to me so well. Oh, and I've also found that we do things in a similar fashion or hit upon similar ideas that we seemingly arrived at independently of each other..

My sister's Nemesis is in my 4th house just like mine is in her 4th house. My mother's Nemesis sextiles my Venus and conjuncts my sister's Sun.

This really makes so much sense to me. I used to think (still do a bit actually) that this guy's too promiscuous and should take sex a lot more seriously. He saw (maybe still sees) no problem in paying for sexual pleasures (i.e. prostitutes), homosexual encounters, one-night-stands, etc. And that really got me angry. Man, was I furious about that! LOL. (Thought it had to do with my scorpio influence...)

But yeah, I think it was fated and that I had to "set things straight" or teach him something. I'm pretty sure he thinks twice now before doing "promiscuous" things. And this might not sound that positive, but I've got a strange feeling that I killed or reduced his "appetite/lust"... And I feel that it was only fair and had to be done.
